The park is well maintained and they have several signs noting which areas can be dangerous. I came for the geotour and had a blast. I did come on a day with flooding from the river.

Well maintained park with beautiful rapids. My only complaint is parking is lacking and could be expanded due to how popular this park is.

Always good for a nice tree covered nature walk. The creek is beautiful, safe to cross in a lot of areas to get away from the trail. I've see people swim, picnic and relax on the rocks in the water. Not a small park, but almost impossible to get lost for real.

The trails are nice and there are several nooks where you can stop and sit on the rocks or along the creek’s edge and put your feet in the water. The sound of the water is very relaxing. I hate that you have to pay to park.

I was traveling down mount vernon and realized I forgot something and so to turn around I used the first driveway which happened to be the main entrance to the park. Google apparently counts this a visit so I'm describing my experience. It was a good driveway to turn around and had plenty of room for me to turn without having to use reverse. I highly recommend it for anybody who happens to need to turn around right before they get to Sweetwater Creek it is the perfect driveway to turn around in on that specific road. I hope this is helpful
