The reviews are misleading and totally decieving. The place was empty (5p on Thursday) and the appetizer took 40 minutes. The waiter apologized for having the appetizer and main course come out simultaneously. The food was awful. Stay away!!! You better off at Wendys which is right next door.

Small and Quaint. Clean and Friendly staff. First and Foremost, I am of Cuban Decent and I generally avoid eating Latin food aside from my grandmother’s kitchen. This has become the exception. As close to my abuela’s tasty food despite visiting many other Cuban and Latin restaurants throughout Miami. Including more famous ones. Since COVID, service almost everywhere and food quality have diminished. Kuba Kitchen has the food quality and attentive service I have been missing. And an additional plus is that alcoholic beverages are also available.

Enjoyed lunch at this place. The service from Ana was particularly good. The food was also reasonable. The beef was tender and tostones were also good. This place has Cuban style coffee (espresso) which Ana made extremely well.

We loved our experience here! The young lady who took care of us was caring and attentive. She made sure everything was wonderful for us. The food was great! We had a sampler appetizer and two sandwiches. Our server explained everything on our sampler to us, which we appreciated. The fried cheese on the platter was surprising because I wasn’t expecting how much I’d love it! The bread on our sandwiches was just the right texture, crisp but not hard. The fillings were just right. The whole place made me feel at home and I’d love to visit again.

From the time I stepped foot in the building I felt welcome. Tamara’s beautiful personality alone could keep me coming into this restaurant alone. The food is amazing and I have eaten here every day I have been on vacation. I personally can only speak very little Spanish, but these ladies can speak very good English so that was helpful seeing how most places I’ve been to in Miami have struggled taking my order because of our language barrier. Not only friendly and helpful, but also very professional and clean. I recommend anyone to come check this place out. Also try their tres leches cake!

Great stop before heading to the airport. Amazing tradition food, drinks and the waitress was phenomenal and explained to us not only how the food was prepared, and cooked but also the cultural background. She even came back out and gave us a side of rice and beans to try. There is plenty of parking space, there buggiest table can fit 8 people, and can combine tables for more people. They have three large televisions, and a small space for karaoke and live performance.

Everything about this gem 💎 is amazing!!! From the music to food, the dessert, and the service! Rosa was amazing with us, constantly checking in, gave us amazing recommendations and it was just a fantastic experience. She was so friendly and so attentive to us. So far it is the highlight of our trip. Try everything especially the Torrejas Kubanas!!!!

Food and service were great! We took two main courses, mojito, coffee and desert. Ana's service, in particular, was attentive and patient, and made us feel welcomed. Will visit again, next time I'm in Miami.

What a lovely place! We just drove by and immediately decided to go here for our dinner, as it looked really cozy and original. After getting seated, we realized there's a standup comedy event happening. Although everything was in spanish, they really made great efforts to include us (non spanish speaking) and we enjoyed the show a lot (and became part of it). The food was fantastic, very authentic and well flavoured, the service was very friendly and mindful. This was the best start into our vacation we could've imagined. Thanks and greetings to the staff, the comedians and other guests making this a great evening!

As a local, we have been hearing of this place for sometime and finally gave it a try. I wish we had tried it earlier. The food was amazing! Everything is fresh and made to order. They cook authentic Cuban, like Grandma would! The service was amazing! Wendy served us and her service was second to none, made us feel right at home. The food: The sampler was great and a must have! The Ropa Vieja was awesome! The Bistec a la Milanesa was unique! The Shrimp was delicious and fresh! The Chicken in mushroom sauce was fantastic! We also heard a lady in the the table next to us rave about the Vaca Frita, which I will personally try next time because it looked great. For desert we had the Tres Leches which was divine, sweetness was just right and juicy as well. The restaurant is cozy with nice Cuban decor. A hidden gem in my opinion. We will definitely be going back. If you are close to the airport and want authentic Cuban food before jumping on a flight or getting great Cuban food once you land in Miami, you’ve got to stop here. And if you’re a local and want to try some good Cuban food like Abuela would do it, check this place out, you won’t regret it.

Excellent Cuban food. The service was great. The food was authentic and delicious. My friend and I were visiting from MN and the staff were friendly and even gave us recommendations on places to checkout in the area. I recommend and we will plan to come back.

Very friendly and quick. I usually used to come here when it was the Chinese restaurant for my dad as he liked the fried rice. After the change in ownership, I thought I would have to find a new place for him. That wasn’t the case and they seem to make it better than the previous restaurant. I also tried the food here personally and I’m very impressed with the quality and taste. I would highly recommend this place if you are in the area for Cuban food.

This place is an absolute gem! Authentic, delicious Cuban food, excellent service, and fantastic drinks as well (get the classic mojito, trust me on this). The mother/daughter team who run this restaurant do a fantastic job making everyone feel welcome and at home. I tried the frituras de malanga (croquettes), the lechon asado (roast pork) and caramel flan. Every bite was delectable. And, of course, don't forget to finish off your meal with a perfectly poured café Cubano. I will definitely be back here the next time I'm in Miami!

Small place with a big taste in food. We ordered the Kuban sampler platter wich brings croquetas, fried yuca, tamal with pork meat on it, frituras de malanga, fried cheese, and toston with fried pork on it as well. They provide two sauces with the platter. One is the guava sauce which was amazing. The other is was like a garlic cilantro which was excellent as well. We also ordered the Kuban sandwhich which was excellent. The place is small and very nicely decorated. The folks here were super friendly and very attentive. We will return!

Came to Miami craving some authentic Cuban food with good flavour and that’s exactly what I got at Kuba Kitchen. Absolutely loved it! The ropa vieja dish was to die for! And my husband who doesn’t like Cuban food loved the steak he ordered. Very quiet environment as they’re starting out but food is amazing and service was great. Will definitely be back next time I’m in town!
