    Herff & Jones has horrible customer service. They take your deposits at the school and don’t issue order numbers to make payments online. The representative was rude to my daughter when placing the order. I had to call to get the order number and they stated they had to wait for the black box to get to the office and we would receive an email with the information. That never occurred. My daughter talks the rep when at the school again and they were rude once again. I end up calling and this lady now tells me I have to make payments at their local office because the payment website doesn’t work. It’s a different answer when you talk to someone else. If they don’t issue order numbers on the spot how are they keeping track of purchase orders? Completely disorganized and worrisome for the amount of money entrusted to them for a product.

    Absolutely terrible service. My mom bought a package that included the lettermen jacket, and class ring for $500 that INCLUDED A FREE CAP AND GOWN. Then never notified us when the due date to order the cap and gown. Helga was very rude and unprofessional when we went in to ask about the gown. We even emailed the owner and never got a response. This place is absolutely a scam DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND HARD EARNED MONEY HERE. I still had to pay for my cap and gown when they promised it free.

    Staff is really rude. Cap and gowns are really low quality and they never have them in time. They say that they get back to you kn your order but never bother to notify if they are going to have it on time or not

    The lady that handles the in person transactions is rude and disrespectful. The supervisor seems to know that his employee is rude and doesn't care because he said that Herff Jones are the only authorized vendor in El Paso. If I could give negative stars I would.

    We purchased our son's class ring in 2019 so that he would have it for his senior year, this school year. We were told his ring would come with his cap and gown. Well that apparently was either a lie or they just didn't want to give him his cap and gown this year. When I asked to speak to the manager they told me they couldn't do that. This place is a joke and the people here are very rude! I highly suggest going somewhere else.

    Very poor service! Ordered my daughters graduation items at the beginning of the school year. We had delivery issues with her class ring, her souvenir tassel, and her cap and gown. All items were paid up front and for some reason they had issues with ALL her items. I called on her ring and tassel and the women I spoke with was very rude. Called again for the cap and gown issue and the women I spoke with was very rude. I asked if I can leave a message for manager or supervisor to call me and the women only took my name and proceeded to hang up the call without getting a phone number to return a call. They initially gave my daughter a weather excuse and when I called the women said it was a late order. This company is very unorganized and the people they have answering calls are not very good with their customer service skills.

    I have been trying to find out the status on my granddaughters cap and gown. I keep getting no one can look it up (only one person with access to computer) it’s on the desk on a pile to work on. No one takes the time to say I will personally look that up for you. Payment has cleared and paid on time. Granted it was ordered late in January but they should be able to look it up with our order number. The sale was confirmed via email that it was received. The attitude of the people working at office have no empathy “no care” they represent the company. Have asked for a corporate office number they have not even tried to give it to me. Very frustrating!!! Corporate if you read your reviews please take some action.

    I should have read the reviews on here before I even ordered. I placed my order and 7 days later I got a call my order was ready to pick up after they charged me $15 to deliver. So I didn’t let that bother me. What really upset me is when they call me back and say it was a mistake his order wasn’t ready. So then I ask how long will the order take and she said she didn’t know. I understand due to covid things take a bit longer but the attitude and unwilling to help after I pay $75 for a cap and gown. The customer service and rudeness is what upset me not the time. I have 2 more boys who will graduate and this will NOT be the place I go to.

    We called asked if we needed an appointment (due to covid). The gentleman on the phone said, no it was a walk in basis now. Key word, walk in*. We arrive the gate was closed and the lady inside the gate asked what we needed, we said to look at the rings, she asked if we knew which one we wanted. I said yes but would like to see it & maybe see others. Her response was, no you can't come in. Her tone of voice was rude & very unprofessional. I should have read the comments before going. I hope the schools change vendors, they don't deserve the business.

    I’ve read some of the poor reviews that have been left about this business, and I am glad to say that my experience with this staff was not at all how people are describing it to be. They were very professional with me. Did it take a while for me to receive my order? Yes. Why? Because they are working at half the staff that they normally are because of COVID-19, and I understand that. I sat in my car and watched as these ladies were LITERALLY jogging to and from cars and the building. If I had placed an order for my student at the beginning of the school year like it was recommended, I would not be in this last minute situation. That is not this business’s fault, and it seems to me that that is the same issue that others are finding themselves in. And again, that’s our fault, not these peoples’. Also, people obviously aren’t reading the info when they order, because a lot of these complaints are addressed before you even place your order. A lack of planning on our side, does not make it an emergency on their side. I think people need to be a little more considerate and appreciate that this business is even open for those of us that waited till the last minute! Thank you Herff Jones and keep up the good work!!

    Best customer service via phone by a gentleman, worst in person by two elder ladies. Extremely moody and passive aggressive. Kept me waiting outside, there was no customers inside when it said 3 people at a time. Made me wait until they were finished shuffling their papers.

    When you place an order for a ring, you are promised a shirt, necklace, and box set for the ring. We didn't receive it when we first ordered so we waited. When it came to the day to pick it up, we asked for it. They responded to us by saying that we had already received it. We insisted that we hadn't and we ended up arguing with them. They hinted several times that were lying but we kept insisting. They finally gave it to us but in a rude manner. They were not very pleasant at all.

    This El Paso staple has been part of almost everyone's graduation process for decades. Can you get a class ring elsewhere? Yes but, why would you? They have reasonable payment plans and a wide variety of options for a memory that will last a lifetime. Their staff are friendly, patient and knowledgeable.

    Made a purchase of a cap and gown they advised me that the tassel would come in in a few days. When I called to check if they have come in HOPE the owner was extremely rude and said she could not find my information that I would have to go in with my receipt. Went in with my credit card receipt and copy or my purchase order and they still said they could not find my information and offered to sell me the tassel for an additional $30 after I had paid for it already! I work for the school and I will make sure that I let everyone know that they have horrible customer service and I was probably better off purchasing online! You know we try to support local but I think this business needs better customer service and HOPE you need some people skills!!!

    I’m so happy with their service! They were extremely kind to my mother and I and they were very helpful. I’m excited for my graduation, and when my letterman jacket comes in I’ll be taking it there for my patches.

    The worst place, very good to take your money and make the products wrong and not give you your money back for what they did wrong!! Don't take the risk and don't buy there. Because of them my daughter doesn't have a jacket!! And Mrs. Silvia, this owner or manager never answers you again and shows her face, almost $400 dollars without returning.
