I went into the store today and was treated very rudely by the staff I wanted to by this table that had a sticker price on it for 7.99 the table was beat up and the stickers on this table were ripped and coming off. I thought that it would be a nice project for me. However when I went up to the cashier the woman said this was the wrong sticker and she proceeded to peal it off. I said you can't do that and change the price. She said that is not the tag we put on furniture and I said how would I know that I the customer and I want to buy this table at the price that is on it. They refused and I video the transaction. I won't go back and I brought a lot of things for them they all were rude except for the cashier. I also notice that there is no diversity at this store all the black men are hired to do the lifting and there are no African Americans women working there all Latino. They price these items very high and if you are Latino they will give you a different price very low this is not right for the Salvation Army which gets most of it's things through donations. Say what you will I have the proof and I'm going to put this on my FB and also on yours. Someone needs to investigate this store on Pennington in Newark.

This thrift store is nicely priced. I got a nice sofa for my basement, and the manager took a few dollars of the listed price. Their clothes are very, very affordable, but you have to check the clothes to make sure no damages before you make your final purchase, so if you get a good, damage- free outfit, the price is right. Love this store.

This store has lots of treasures that you can find if you take your time and look ! It is kept clean and neat, has good hours, and the staff is usually friendly and helpful. The BEST part is that you can get great buys there ! Wednesdays are half price days, perfect !

Very good selection and the prices are fair. It's kind of uncomfortable seeing people watched around the store I guess they have a high theft rate. They should hire security to make the environment less intimidating and welcoming for everyone.

The staff here are the best! I lost a very personal important document in my donation and they helped my find it. There are piles of piles of donations so it’s not a easy job but they made the effort. They are so helpful.

Ok so there must be a confusion or something but this place is not where they keep the merchandise to purchase it's across the street.

This location is known for it's donations, so they may or may not have everything you'd desire. But the Salvation army store employees will try to find things that are in common with the items you maybe looking for. I've been flying to this Location for quite some time now and they always try and offer you quality products

Saturday, the Internet and 800 number stated the store loction was open. Drove with an attempt to shop only to find out the store does not open until the following Tuesday and it appears the gentleman on the other end of the intercom was aggravated from the buzz to inquire regarding the differential

This is a terrible organization. They are considered a church so they are tax exempt… which means they make 100% profit on donations as well as their free labor by taking advantage of indigent men requiring them to work full time hours for several dollars a week if that. The “shelter” accepts funding and exploits men while the falsely labeled “sergeant” “majorsatop” and other knock off military titled dictators reap the rewards. These men are not taught basic life skills and how to be productive members of society but instead are forced to attend religious cult agenda meetings against their wills (and best interests).
