S & L Air Conditioning and Heating LLC did a fantastic job! They were on time, polite, and very efficient. Our AC wasn't working. Within 10 minutes, they assessed the issue and fixed it. After they fixed it, they apprised me of what was wrong and what they did to fix it. They are amazing! If you need your AC or heating fixed, please give them a call. You will NOT be disappointed. IF YOU NEED YOUR AIR VENTS CLEANED USE THEM!!!! Read my review for confirmation. The website was simple and easy. Customer service was clear and gave me a simple cost breakdown. Booking was EASY! I used their service on 11/23/22. They gave me a time frame for when to expect them (2pm - 4pm) and they were communicative to let me know when they were en route and when they arrived. Plus. The two men explained what they’d be doing and they were VERY HELPFUL! They told me it would take one hour (I had 8 vents and a dryer air duct) but it took them less than the estimated time. They also cleaned up the dust spilled AND the debris in my vent closet that was there before they arrived 🥹. Plus. I think it was a really good price…I did a cost comparison AND considered reviews. They came out on top for those two things. I wish I asked them to take before and after pictures as a testament to their work but it’s okay. I am a HAPPY customer and definitely plan on using their services again in 2-3 years if I’m still in the Maryland area. 10/10 would absolutely recommend using them. We had S & L A/C and Heating out to our house to assist us with installing a new Honeywell Home thermostat we purchased. Our ordered Honeywell was starting to malfunction. Being that I had never installed a thermostat before, I contacted them for assistance. Their staff were a pleasure to work with from scheduling a day/time all the way through the appointment itself. Their technician was extremely knowledgeable and professional. Would highly recommend their services.

Our air conditioner broke down on Sunday afternoon, and S&L sent a tech in less than 24 hours. Our AC was 23 years old, so we decided to go ahead and replace the unit, along with the furnace. The new AC, furnace, and installation team arrived on Thursday morning, and J and Steve had everything running by the afternoon. The AC has been on for less than an hour and the top floor of our townhouse is already chilly! Yay!!!!! Thank you everyone at S&L!

I’m thoroughly impressed with the service provided by S&L. The experience from scheduling the service to the execution of the service was very pleasant and professional. Jorge and his assistant came about 10-15 minutes earlier than the scheduled window (2:00 - 5:00) and was willing to wait until 2:00 since I was working from home. I really appreciated that. My heat went out and within hours of calling they had a technician to my house to fix it at an extremely reasonable price. I was at work but my mom is visiting and was able to let the Technician JR in. He called and kept me updated while I was at work and thoroughly explained the diagnostic process and what needed done and did not do any more than necessary. My mother said he was extremely professional and she felt safe with him in my home. The receptionist was professional and overall this was a great experience despite my expectations when having to call a company out to fix my heat.

Had a blown starter coil and a dirty AC cooling unit. Stephen diagnosed the problem quickly had the parts with him, and made the fix. I was happy. My tenant was happy. Another great job done by Stephen and the guys at S&L heating and cooling. Don’t hesitate to call them for all your HVAC needs.

Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Fast, efficient, transparent, insightful, helpful. A power surge knocked out the heater. JR diagnosed the issue and was very upfront and informative of all the information he found. He showed me a pricing chart that they have to show service charges are consistent. He warned that because of the power surge it's hard to tell if there was anything else wrong until this particular part was replaced/fixed. To both our joy nothing else needed to be done! JR was kind and physically showed me specific signs of wear on different components of the older unit just to give awareness. Received an email that included notes of the problems, what JR did to fix them, and included the list of components that show wear which was really appreciated.

The team doing the install arrived on time , was very professional , knowledgeable, and kept me informed of everything during the whole process. It's very refreshing having a company do a job and actually know what they are doing. They did an excellent job and would definitely recommend this company to anyone needing HVAC work done !

Sunday morning! Called! Very prompt response! They came out, diagnosed and did the repair and I must say it was the happiest I've ever been spending repair money. I even set up a regular maintenance schedule. Based on today's experience, I highly recommend them.

The repairman, first informed me of the company he represented and his name. He was courteous and explained every step of his assessment and diagnosis. He was clear in informing me of why the system was malfunctioning. He made a recommendation and shared photos of coolant readings. While I had hired them to install a Nest thermostat, they managed to talk me out of it based on the implementation of the existing system. I value the analysis and explanation the tech gave and while it still cost the service fee for the review and basic service of the unit I was glad to have them out.

Excellent customer service from first initial phone call to the service technician coming to my home and resolving my issue. JR. T was phenomenal!! I had a no AC cooling issue on one of the hottest days of the summer and they were able to provide me with same day service repair when many larger well known companies couldn’t. The best! They squeezed me in when my central air was broken and fixed it during their busiest time. Their live tracking notifications are an added bonus; they keep you informed of the assigned service person's arrival time! Russ quickly and efficiently turned on the air conditioner. They treat their customers very well, and I couldn't be happier.

I first would like to say the professionalism from start to finish was excellent.
