Decent gym has nice equipment. My only issue is the locker rooms and steam rooms are never clean they always stink and I am person that’s really big on hygiene and that is one of my biggest pet peeves. I understand they have a overnight cleaning staff that comes but not to sound rude but VASA needs to stop being cheap and hire a clean crew that comes and cleans all day. They have high traffic that comes threw that gym so I don’t understand why VASA can’t hire a cleaning crew to keep it clean. I would give this gym a 4 if they actually have a daily cleaning crew and kept the restroom/steam room clean.

Although this gym is super nice and exactly what my pro athlete husband needs when he is home, the contracts are OUTRAGEOUS. We can only freeze our account for 3 months at a time and get no warning when they are about to charge us again, got billed an annual fee, called immediately to just try and cancel because we were sick of trying to keep up with it in which they told us there was a cancellation fee and the annual fee was to promise to keep our current rate?? I’m sorry what? It is a great gym but the contracts make it not simple to use- maybe we will be back when he is done playing but probably will not be while he’s still an athlete which is sad.

This is a fantastic gym, super affordable with many amenities that you don’t get at Gyms that cost the same amount. There is so many machines and free weights so even when it’s a busy time, there’s plenty you can still do to get a great workout. The environment is friendly and encouraging, the staff is hands down the best; super helpful and knowledgeable. I’m thrilled to be continuing my fitness journey at this gym.

This place has a lot to offer, but they don’t take care of it. 1) They have 10 TVs in the main cardio area that don’t work (1/2 of all the TVs). 2) The pool, locker room, and sauna area are disgusting, I wonder how often they clean it. 3) No one checks your level of membership for most of the amenities. Why am I paying more than double if I can get the cheap membership and use everything anyway. At least put a scanner up or something.

The gym is great. The staff is amazing. They always greet you, say goodbye and are willing to help. The only negative thing I can say is the billing company sucks! You can’t reach anyone after 5, the staff has no control over it, and you really have to watch them because they will bill for additional fees or duplicate charges. When I reached someone (it took longer than my lunch break on hold) they were rude and wouldn’t apologize for their mistake. They did credit me but placed a hold on my account for two days. It’s a nightmare.

I just joined this gym and ???? It’s supposed to be nice but its always dirty. The mens restroom always smells no matter what time of day it is. They close the steam room (plus it’s filthy) down 30 minutes before close, if your open I expect to be able to use an amenity within the hours of operation. Plus all the basketballs here are all busted. Contact me.

VASA has decent facilities. Overall gym cleanliness is good. Staff are friendly and helpful. I have been a member since they opened this location and can say they are average for equipment variety. I can usually get in on cardio but often the weights have about a five minute queue. Early mornings and late nights are not as crowded. The showers are in need of some regular cleaning and the curtains need replaced. The pool is great when not busy and the sauna and steam room are usually available but can get packed. I have never taken a class but they seem to fill up regularly throughout the day.

I LOVE VASA! The instructors are amazing, the classes are engaging and they gym is clean and nice with lots of extras - like a cardio theater and hydro massage. The price is super reasonable and Kid Care has the best teachers and is so cute! Couldn't be happier! Thank you everyone at VASA and special shout-out to Hannah in Kid Care who talks the best care of my daughter and Liz who teaches most of the 9:30 am Studio Red classes and is so great at motivating me!

What can be said about the gym and the equipment on the Pen Ave location that hasn’t already been said about gold. But more so, the two employees in the morning are phenomenal. I have a no skip policy and every morning that I arrive at 4 am they’re cheering me on. Even when motivation has failed, somehow seeing their energy brightens my day. They have an amazing supportive staff and I’m happy I joined.

I’ve been working out at VASA for about 2 months. I’m pretty active 😂, my husband said he feels like if VASA opens 24/7 he might never see me at home again LOL!!! Hahahaha!!!! VASA is huge, has all kinds of equipments, basketball playground, swimming pool, movie Theater, cycle, hydro massage, fitness classes from sunrise to sunset, STUDIO RED class etc… my strengths has gained a lot in the last 2 month, I love the atmosphere, the professional and encouraging coaches!! You see the strength, the insistence in yourself and others! Which brings me more motivation to conquer my will, I really do enjoy working out here! Feeling young and powerful everyday!! 🏋🏻

Hi! It’s my second time joining charities dance fitness class on Monday evening and it was so much fun!!!! First I attended travens. If I had to choose id choose charity, just because the class is bigger and I can follow other people as well as charity! Charity is a good coach! I love it! So fun!

I love The VASA gym on Penn. It has a lot of diverse classes and open hours are from 4 am to midnight during week days which is great! Staff is friendly and professional. The Studio Red sessions are intense, fun, and interesting. I love learning new exercises. I feel empowered and motivated to loose fat & gain muscle and to improve overall health.

Always clean, with good air circulation and high ceilings so it never smells funky. Usually filled with bros but that’s most gyms 🤷🏼‍♀️ Tons of equipment and the amenities are nice. Kidcare monthly cost went up after the pandemic so I’ve got to skip that now, but it’s still great to have the option. Overall I really enjoy it and am satisfied 🏋🏼‍♀️🏃🏼‍♀️

Great atmosphere, workers, and equipment. Only downfalls are how busy it is and the fact that they don’t check what membership you have. Meaning anyone can walk into basketball, or anything else that is considered premium. This wouldn’t be a problem if they didn’t take over the entire court running 5s.

Have been looking for a gym postpartum I thought that it would be a good fit being that it has several amenities and offers childcare. Signing up online was quick and easy. My first day at gym was okay walking into the facility it seemed very large but there were a lot of people there and no treadmills available so I decided to go into the cinema where I was able to get in some cardio. But to be honest I have not been back since. They do offer some walk-in fitness classes that I plan to try out to see if it makes a difference. Other than that I have had a membership with PF before and it seemed like a better fit for my location and fitness level.

I’ve been coming here since August 2021 and it’s hands down, the best gym I’ve ever been too. The environment to me is super welcoming and the instructors who teach the classes are fun and very nice - they accommodate to your needs. 5 stars for my personal trainer, he is the GOAT and has really helped me really love going to the gym. I know feel much more confident coming to the gym. 10/10. I absolutely recommend this gym.

I recently joined this gym and I’ve been pleased with it thus far. They have an extensive set of machines and everything is very clean. Also, people are all respectful and kind their own business, which is exactly what I want in a gym. I can go in, do my workout, and go home. It’s a good stress reliever for me.

Great gym with every piece of equipment you could possibly need. It does stay crowded pretty much all day until closing, but I love it. It's better than any other gym I've been to. The only complaint I could give is the shady homeless people that stand out by the door. My partner, whom I brought with me, was followed to the car by a homeless man who tried to open the door; luckily, one of the workers made him leave. So far, I've loved coming here, though maybe it's time to beef up the security around the place or something.

They have pretty good facilities and have a friendly staff! My main issue is how they charge. Rates go up pretty often, especially if you’re on the cheapest plan. They’ve also charged me twice for personal training I never received. I physically cannot go in right now due to a broken ankle and I was still charged. I called the billing office and they told me that there was nothing that they can do. So now I’m out $140 for service I never received.

Only 2 out of 8 stair steppers work. Sled still isn’t available and it’s been over a month since these problems arose

Great facility! I’m from IL and belong to LA Fitness. This is by far a better gym. Love all the space. Nice extras like tanning and hydro massage machines. The gym is clean and I love the fact that there are plenty of gym wipes & water stations. Very nice equipment and plenty of cardio machines. There’s even a cardio theater! I highly recommend VASA.

Katie, Josh and everyone else have been awesome all the way from the start. I rate this gym extremely high because they offer every amenity at a fair price other gyms can't compete with. I have been feeling motivated, healthier and happier since I started again. Been practicing pranayama breathing in the steam room and I feel great. Thank you VASA. 💪😎👌

I’ve been two or three times it was packed. But awesome place love it felt welcomed it was clean and staff was nice tried the free training session. Jordan was tuff ( great) love it very impressive

Yoga class was great with David. He helped me with alterations after he found out I have a bad knee. So helpful. The water massage was helpful and clean. No waiting everything was clean Very happy

I have just signed up though the " silver sneakers program " under my Medicare. I have only been there once and just used the indoor pool and hot tub. It's nice to get out of the house because I am my wife's caregiver. Everyone was very nice and professional. I enjoyed talking with Joe at the front desk . He signed me up. See you soon!

I like VASA, they are well staffed, usually busy and clean. They have a steam room, sauna, hydrotherapy massage chairs, pool, hot tub, free weights, weight machines, retail area. I love that there are stations all around the facility to wipe down your areas after you are finished. Staff is friendly and helpful.

This 1 star is not about the facilities or the staff. Every time I've gone in the staff has been pleasant and the facilities clean. This one star is regarding Paramount Acceptance, the billing company for Vasa. My billing date is today 11/9 and when I went online last night around 10 pm to update my card on file, the website would not allow me to. I was also unable to reach anyone in the billing department so that they could update the card for me. At 2am the card on file was charged but since it's no longer active the charge did not go through and I was stuck with a "bounce back" fee. When I called this morning to explain the situation I spoke to MULTIPLE representatives who: steamrolled me and would not allow me to speak, gave me conflicting information about their policies and procedures, refused to let me speak to any type of supervisor, and when I wouldn't back down - they just hung up the phone. At one point, one of the reps told me that even if I were able to update my card last night, I still would've been charged because it takes 5 DAYS for billing info to be updated! How are we supposed to know this? Where is this said online? Where is it said in our contract? Why am I being penalized for not being able to update my billing information during a time when no one at the business was available to help me? These are predatory business practices and the fact that VASA would work with a company like this says a lot about them. Thankfully the manager on-site at my home gym gave me some really solid advice on how to move forward, but if it weren't for them I'd be done with VASA. Paramount Acceptance is a trash company and a liability to VASA - get rid of them!

I’ve only been a member for one week, and I have been to the facility six days out seven. The staff are all very friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. The facility is maintained in excellent, cleaned condition at all times. Needless to say I am very impressed. If there were one thing I would like to see changed, it would be for guests of mine to be able to use the tanning facilities. Since I am paying for guest privileges, it would be nice for them to be able to have the same privileges that I do. This, however, does not detract from my personal experience with the facility or the staff, which is why I gladly give this location a five star rating. I am 69 years old, and in reasonably good health, and I have experienced only friendly interactions with other gym members. There has been none of the haughty attitude that is prevalent in some other gyms that I have attended. Thanks, VASA for an overall excellent experience and keep up the good work!

I have been going here for two years now. Highly recommend! Staff is always super helpful if you have questions about equipment. The equipment selection is great. The cycle classes are great too! I recommend taking Rachel's class.:)

The facility itself is very nice, they fit alot more than you think in a building that size. Workers are pleasant and helpful. The only issue is the area isn't safe, my bike was stolen right outside the doors where I chained it up at. I would hire security for certain areas if I was the manager.

Great place and wonderful atmosphere. I'm not scared to go there like most gyms and I can focus on what I need to do. The workers are welcoming and nice and the coaches know what they are doing. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

LOVE this gym. The group exercise classes are great, and the instructors are so personable. (Liz is my favorite.) The gym offers a huge variety of options at such a low price. In my opinion, you can’t beat it. The hot tub, sauna, and steam room put this gym above the others.

I love this gym but it is a little too over crowded. They definitely need more dumb bells in 15, 20, and 25lb increments. The men's restroom always stinks. It isn't cleaned often enough for the amount of traffic it handles, especially after 4pm. I do love their equipment and classes.

I really enjoy this gym. They have friendly staff who are available to help. They offer many ways to exercise and have different areas in the gym to fit your needs and accomplish goals. The gym is clean and organized. I have fun there.

I started going to the gym with my friends and It’s been going pretty well for me. The busiest times is from 5-8 so if you don’t want to go at that time, then they are open pretty late. I think you just have to get in and work out. The price is good because I just have the basic membership but if you want to use more of their services then you will have to upgrade. Other than that I recommend the gym!

They need to make room for more squat racks, been here 6 times now and every time waited 15-25 mins to get on a rack. I’m all for people doing legs, but most people occupy a rack for other things and push back our training. It’s insanely busy which is understandable but there is room for more equipment. Way too overcrowded if you are into training seriously you are gonna add another hour to your training time. You literally have to wait for every single piece of equipment.

The airport of gyms. People everywhere. Dodge and weave your way through traffic. Find a little spot in the corner to setup shop. People watching a plenty. Wait in line for equipment, amenities, and water fountains. Wander aimlessly whilst continuously altering your workout in your brain to suit what space/equipment is available.

Really love coming to this gym! The staff at the front are always so nice and helpful. The machinery is well kept and there is a decent variety. It is usually busy no matter the time but it makes sense given the location near a college and because it has so many options for working out like turf, a basketball court, classes and more. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good gym experience!

I know homeless issue is everywhere in midtown. What I saw scared me of to sign up their membership. Broken glass on the parking whole aisle of trash. Yes, they report to the city it’s still falls down to the gym. Most young kids who work there will not mind get pay extra to pick up trash. Even just one hour a day will make a difference. No I’m not a complaining Neihhbor, I was there to sign up membership for my daughter and decided to walk in order to keep her car insurance low.

I love coming here. It's clean, neat, the machines are kept up so well, and the classes are instructed by wonderful people! The staff is also friendly and knowledgeable. VASA is like my other home that's how much I love it! The only thing I hope will get better is clearing the parking spaces more from the snow/ice when it occurs.

Great gym, has all the amenities for a good price. Amazing atmosphere to workout in, but IT. IS. PACKED. Been going here 2 years now and love the gym but no matter what time or day you go it's packed. If they hurry up and open one in edmond I'll be a life long member, if not...I will have to ✌🏾✌🏾
