Jane was very helpful! I went in to get two rings resized, and asked if they had emeralds. I can’t resist taking a peak when I go in to jewelry stores. I love minimalistic jewelry and the color green, plus emerald is one of my son’s birthstones. They did of course, and they were gorgeous. But before seeing them, as we were walking up to the display, I immediately saw a ring and fell in love with it. Jane walked me right to it without me saying anything. She said she thought I may like it. I had expressed to her earlier how I had always wanted an oval cut emerald in a yellow gold, solitaire band. This ring was an oval, solitaire cut sapphire with a yellow gold twisted band. Sapphire is my husband’s birthstone. This ring is absolutely breathtaking and was an amazing price. I couldn’t say no, and I’m so glad I chose a sapphire over an emerald. I can’t stop looking at it and my husband loves it as well. So happy early Valentine’s Day to me!

I can’t recommend State St. Jewelers highly enough. My mother passed away and I wanted to put her diamond from her wedding set into a setting wedding set for myself. Not a large stone but extremely sentimental. Jane was so kind and helpful in picking out just the right setting to showcase something that was very important to me. We found the perfect setting and it was completed in just a couple of days since the jeweler is on site. It’s absolutely stunning and something I will cherish forever. Jane was so thoughtful and shared my emotion with me. I would 100% use them again and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for just the perfect piece of jewelry that will hold a lifetime of memory for me and my fiancé. I’m grateful for Jane’s kindness and understanding of the importance this holds for me.

The protocols they have in place for safety and security are top notch. They go above and beyond standard practices. The store carries some unique pieces. They also do custom design. There was a mix up on my bill that I didn't appreciate, but the company is very trustworthy. It's a great place to find a gift for yourself or your loved one. Their engagement ring display has a wonderful selection for that special occasion. They do appraisals and will give you a link to a reputable jewelry insurance company.

I had an issue with one of my watches. After going to a few places that offered repairs and being disappointed, I happened by State Street Jewelers. Not only did they repair my watch but did so in a timely manner. They took my information, gave me a time table of what to expect, repaired and contacted me for pickup sooner than expected. The staff were all super friendly, knowledgeable and a pleasure do do business with. I will definitely be returning to State Street jewelers for continued business. This is the first business that I can truly say that Customer service hasn’t been forgotten. Dare I say even better than Chick fila😂

Sarah was amazing. She shared my excitement fully in finding the perfect diamond ring, explained things in detail, hustled to try to make it available by Christmas. The other staff were friendly and helpful was well. I’ve never had such a wonderful experience in a jewelry store.

Sandra was extremely helpful while I decided on a beautiful necklace to purchase. She also helped me on a return visit replace a watch battery and a missing stone in my engagement ring with lightening fast speed. I’ll definitely be returning the next time I need repairs or am looking for something special.

I stopped in to State Street to have some jewelry appraised and ended up having three old rings remade into more modern, wearable rings, AND buying a new Diamond ring for my 25th wedding anniversary which had to have a custom band made to match my wedding ring! It is all stunning and everything was made exactly how I asked for it to be! I loved working with Sandra!!

Sarah is so friendly, responsive and knowledgeable! It has been a great experience working with her before and after I got engaged. If you want anything custom, she knows how to make it happen! Also, their entire staff is very welcoming - when you walk in their store you are greeted with genuine hospitality.

Experience with the Saturday team went very well. The staff seemed helpful, everyone spoke, was offered a beverage on multiple occasions, and the service was timely. I visited the store to have my watches batteries replaced, and it was completed same day. When I had reached out earlier to one of their competitors, they stated 2-3 days. Thank you for a great experience, and as a new resident I now have somewhere I can bring my rings to for cleaning and routine checkups.

The associates were warm, cordial, friendly and professional. Jane assisted me and she gave a sales pitch that was more inviting than offensive. Equally impressive was the alacrity in which my request for jewelry repaired was fulfilled. It was my first visit to the store, but it certainly won’t be my last!

Could not be happier with our experience. Last month my husband and I came in wanting to upgrade our wedding bands for our ten year anniversary. Today we were able to pick up our completely custom bands, and they are so gorgeous. The whole process couldn’t have been any easier or more enjoyable. I love State Street Jewelers in Greensboro. Pretty sure I’m a typical husband, I know nothing about jewelry. Every time I go to see Jane, she makes sure I leave with something my wife will love! They also help me all the time with simple stuff like batteries for watches, removing links from watches, helping if there’s a knot in a necklace. Local and awesome!

They deserve more than Five Stars. The best experience ever! I had a mangled locket that my dog ate. I was told by other jewelers in town that it was beyond repair. Others said, "It can be fixed," but they quoted a higher price. Some did not care to hear about my experience leading up to the damage of the locket. This group of professionals wanted to share in my experience and help bring a happy ending. They did just that. My locket is like new again. The locket was a linking object to my deceased Dad, and it felt like I had lost him once again when I could not find it. It was a journey to find it, and it was another journey to find the right person to fix it. You have brought tears of joy out of tears of pain. I will never recommend anyone else. The BEST Jewler in town. They really care about the customer and the meaning of their jewelry!

After a disappointing experience with another jeweler, I looked up places that offered antique jewelry repair in order to have my engagement ring fixed. I'm so happy I found State St. in my search. Jane was so kind and knowledgeable, and I left very reassured that my heirloom ring was in good hands. At first I wasn't sure if they'd be able to fix the issue as I was hoping, but Jane was very patient and took the time to talk to me about it so that it could be exactly right. My ring was repaired quickly and I couldn't be happier with the results.

State Street has been so wonderful with all of our jewelry for our wedding. Brit helped us design a beautiful engagement ring and pick out a unique band. Jane was super knowledgeable and helpful with resizing my fiancé’s wedding band that was once his grandfather’s. It shiny, fits perfectly, and the jeweler kept the original detail of the band. We knew we were in good hands from the start. Highly recommend!

My wife and i loved this shop and the staff. We had a ton of work done, as well as a custom pendent created for my wife. Let me be clear, all that work was done to 100% satisfaction, and all work we had done was 100% our satisfaction. The issue I want to warn about is this. We moved, in the process of moving we had left some stuff behind that was repaired as well as something customized with gold and silver. Without us asking, while in the middle of moving they shipped it and said it was signed for. I never received it, we asked them to verify it was delivered as well as find out who signed for it. Never once did they contact me with this information, however they did keep sending me a bill for items I never received. On top of it all they added interest each month to the balance. I gave up waiting for them to do the right thing and find out where his package was and deal with an insurance claim seeing it was missing. So now we are out 2 watches a custom bit of work that was silver and gold. In total close to 2k in value not to mention sentimental value of my wife's fathers watch gone. This has been going on for 7 months, and while I do love the work and the staff, they should have handled this better and worked with me to find where a package I never asked to be shipped went. Had they waited until we settled in and did not have 50 people coming in and out of our house this could have been avoided. So please use them they do great work, but before the love of god do not have them hold something until you are in a position to deal with it. Clearly we moved out of state so we will not be back, but this did taint our view of this store.

I took a charm in to get the clasp fixed to fit my bracelet! They told me I could pick it up next week but I got a call today it was ready! They did a great job and a lot faster service than I expected. I will be using them again as all the clerks were very nice and ready to help! It’s so nice to go into a business and someone greets you as soon as you walk in the door this is service you don’t get very often these days! Thank you all for being so nice and for the efficient service.

I worked with June on a ring resizing. Unfortunately, my ring couldn’t be done, but she was honest and upfront about what could happen to my ring if they tried, and I really appreciated having all the information. I will definitely check back for a replacement ring!
