Let me start off by saying Dr. Berger is a great family doctor. As for her "office manager" Steve I believe he told his name was if so horrendous at doing his job. Steve after calling me about a bill dated back from October 2021 that was never brought to my attention a few week ago when I was in there for a consult. Not to mention I had only started seeing Dr. Berger December of 2021. Anyways instead of explain my bill to me Steve not only hung up on me but when I called back to speak to the office manager which he stated was himself. Called me unintelligent along with a number of other things to which I will be posting thanks to my recorded phone line. Someone with this NASTY behavior should not working for a good Doctor it unfortunate that in these circumstances it give the Doctor herself a bad name when you have incompetent office staff that cannot hold his feelings together when they are frustrated with a patient for simply asking about a bill. I will NEVER be returning this this office which is once again unfortunate because I thought I had finally found a decent primary care physician to go to but no doctor no mater how great they are is worth the abuse from office staff. Please do better with who you hire and have represent you as a not only a business but a doctor.

I made an appointment with Dr. Berger for the first time, first of all when I got there they asked me for my credit card, for them to keep on file, otherwise the doctor will not see me. Never heard of such of thing, I have insurance and I am covered. Anyway, then I am was shocked that insted of Dr. Berger, I was seen by a nurse instead. The nurse was pretty nice, but still no one gave me the choice when I made the appointment. Not nice to treat patients like you are doing them a favor to see them!!!!

The first visit I felt went well, I never even met the Dr and the women who helped me it was her first day. So I was more patient waiting for everything she said they were doing. After a week I called asking about the main referral I needed* and I was told it would take 3-4 weeks and I just had to wait. I asked they find another Dr to send me because I was in danger and needed to seen and helped as soon as possible.. the office lady with an accent begrudgingly finally helped me. She was the only office person I ever had an issue with, but she still helped which is more than I can say for the doctor, unfortunately I had to talk to the office a lot because I would never hear back from anywhere she sent my referrals (a lot of which I didn't actually need). I'm convinced she committed insurance fraud sending me to specialists I didn't even need to be referred too. At one point I was waiting in a room to be seen and heard Dr Berger herself auguring loudly with another PA about who was going to "deal with me" apparently asking questions and trying to actively be a part of your health is annoying when all they care about is collecting payment. For the record that entire appointment shouldn't have happened (they had already mailed me a letter saying they were downsizing and couldn't provide my care anymore, I just didn't know it yet)it was also pointless and a waste of my time and money, because the work form they agreed to fill out (entire reason for that appointment) and had me waiting on, I finally received a call about it a week and a half later telling me they couldn't actual fill it out, and when I asked why, I was essentially told because she didn't want to. Please don't waste your time or jeopardize your health find a doctor who actually cares elsewhere!

I had appointment with Dr. Berger on Sept. 29, 2022 for 9:30 I arrived there and filled out the necessary papers; I was taken into another room after being weighed and the assistant explained that they would take some blood samples, a list of medication’s were taken with a list of my medical problems. The young women excused herself and disappeared for a couple minutes. She returned to tell me that the doctor would not see me. When I questioned her, she stated I had too many problems. Unbelievable! Mind you I came into the office with a large black eye and swollen forehead and other bruises due to a fall and still they refused care. The assistant never questioned me about black eye and bruises, she just refused any care and the doctor never even saw me. I cannot believe that any doctor would refuse care after making an appointment a week ago. The assistant did hand me another doctor to call and that was it. Unprofessional & unbelievable. Don’t go there if you have any medical problems.

Dr. Berger was amazing! I was new to the practice and I could not have experience a better first time visit here. Dr. Berger was very thorough and listened to everything I had to say. Highly recommended her for not only her bedside manners but for expertise in getting down to finding out causes of your symptoms. Highly recommend!!!

Dr Berger and her staff are phenomenal! First time patient and they made me.feel.so.welcomed from the moment I arrived until I left. The M.A.Danielle(hope I spelled it.correctly) was extremely polite and understanding. She took a moment to speak to me on a personal level and we even shared a chuckle or two lol. Danielle took the.time time.to.explain the next steps after today's appt. Dr Berger was so attentive to me! She wanted to hear about what was going on with me and made.me.feel.so.comfortable. I have yet to meet a.Dr. that comes into.the room and takes a seat with their patients!!!! We also shared laughter as to how I found her as a Dr..😀

I don't leave 1 stars. CHECK THE RECEIPTS (I I have written a lot of reviews) I was disappointed from the very beginning of my visit. I was asked to leave financial information that was completely unnecessary. My insurance covers me. Absolutely zero reason to have to leave financial information on file. And then of course I get the obligatory condescending "we're sorry sir but she's not accepting you as a patient" No problem! Enjoy your review! The "Reply" is NONSENSE! And whomever left that is full of it!

Dr Berger is awesome. She is professional and very thorough. We got more done in the first appointment without being referred out. Moved from Delray and was not looking forward to doing the Dr search again but I found just what I needed. The office staff is great and the office is clean. The one issue is she is not affiliated with Cleveland Clinic… I will see where that takes me…

Absolutely careless. I’m a diabetic. Twice now she has been too incompetent to fill a prescription for my insulin. It’s a Friday evening, I’m out of insulin and I couldn’t pick it up because of her error. When contacted about the issue, she said to “go to a hospital or urgent care,” and hung up. Office is outdated and run down. Her staff seems pleasant but what a cold, unprofessional doctor she is. Could not express enough how much I’d urge people to look elsewhere.

Dr. Berger is an excellent PCP. I have been a Nurse for over 50 years and most critical of the Doctors who care for me and my husband. We moved to Port St Lucie almost 3 months ago and I have been searching for a PCP. Not just any PCP, but one who is Professional, Caring, Knowledgeable, Answers questions, Returns calls, Renews medication and also has a wonderful staff backing her up. I found ALL of this in Dr. Berger. Another bonus for patients is that lab work is done in the office. If you are looking for an excellent PCP, see Dr. Berger

I’m new to the area and was searching for a good Primary Doctor . Dr Berger and her entire staff were excellent! Friendly and made me feel at ease being a new patient. Very complete physical ! Dr Berger was very easy to speak with and she took her time to answer all questions . I’m very happy patient!

From the first time I called the doctors office my experience has been wonderful. The staff is kind and friendly. Dr. Berger spent time doing my exam and listening to what I had to say. My experience with Dr. Alexandra Berger has been consistently disheartening. Despite paying my yearly deductible, I found myself repeatedly asked for additional payments during various interactions. Shockingly, access to my lab results was denied until I made extra payments, and I was refused an appointment with Dr. Berger unless I agreed to pay more beyond my deductible. This not only raises serious concerns about the transparency of costs but also leaves me questioning the doctor's commitment to patient well-being over financial considerations. Unfortunately, my encounters with Dr. Alexandra Berger have left me feeling frustrated and disappointed, prompting me to share this experience to caution others seeking a primary care doctor.

I am new to this doctor, however, my first experience was a very positive one. I am looking forward to establishing a great patient/ doctor relationship. Her office is clean and her staff is super friendly. Since I’ve only been there once I did not give a five star rating, but I’m sure I will in the very near future. I found Dr. Berger to be very attentive and caring. She listens!

I just moved to PSL and was looking for a PCP and wanted to share my experience. The office staff greeted me right away and I was seen at my scheduled appointment time. Dr. Berger was very pleasant and addressed all of my concerns. The visit was not rushed and I was very pleased with the visit.

Staff was friendly and efficient. Loved Dr. Berger. She was attentive and spent a lot of time with me as a new patient. I feel like I am in good hands and was lucky to find her.

I recently relocated from New York to Scottsdale Arizona to Port St Lucie so I had my share of Doctors. This Dr Berger was by far the best choice I made in Finding the right fit for me. Dr Berger is very attentive and so knowledgeable on every issue I bring up. I always have a minimum wait if not exact time upon arrival. Not only is the staff friendly and welcoming on every visit and every reminder but they always have a smile. I actually look forward to my visit

I haven't had a good PCP since my original Dr retired 10+years ago. I went to Dr. Berger & she was so kind & genuinely listened to my problems. She did every test u can do when ordering bloodwork & was very thorough. My husband switched his pcp the next day & also had a great experience with her. I recommend her to anyone who needs a Dr that actually cares. Also, her staff is nice & helpful which makes all the difference.

My husband and I have now both had our first and follow-up new patient visits with Dr. Berger. She is very easy to get along with, very thorough, professional and quite obviously very competent. We are both very pleased to now have her as our primary care physician for the months we live in Port Saint Lucie each year & feel very comfortable in recommending her to others. We were also very pleasantly surprised to see this sign in her office & learn that she always makes time to see her patients on an urgent care basis when needed to help avoid unnecessary emergency room or urgent care facility visits!! 🙂🙂

I have not been with Dr Berger long but let me tell you, she is a fantastic doctor! She is very attentive and honestly cares about your well being. I would highly recommend her to anyone!! Also, her office staff is so friendly. This is just an outstanding office!

I was there to establish as a new patient I met with the PA she was amazing, she took her time, listened to my concerns, addressed them and provided me with confidence that I chose the right physicians. I know now my disabilities are being seen and I am being heard. I can’t thank them enough. Start to finish amazing office.

First visit with Dr. Berger and already I feel comfortable with her as my doctor. A doctor who listens! Looking forward to a long relationship. Office staff is very nice and nurse Christina was great.

RUN don't walk away from this place. Don't bother calling them to verify if they take your insurance, they'll tell you they do even if they don't then nail you with a bill a month later. First visits go great and then you see the seedy behavior really quick. Again no mention of them not taking the insurance you called and verified. They'll have you go into the office a second time to "review blood work" just to say "oh you're fine". Just to get the office fee payment. Total scam of a doctor office. Again, RUN.

I had a very nice welcome when I arrived for my first visit from the front office staff, very pleasant and friendly. Got in to the exam room right on time, no waiting. The nurse that gathered personal info and medical history was very engaging and friendly. The PA Mary Jane was very professional and she discussed in depth with me the practices medical strategies and how they would work with me as a team to continue my good health and how we will address issues that might pop up in the future! Very happy with the 1st visit

I finally found the perfect doctor since I moved to Florida. The office is clean, the staff is amazing. Dr Berger is very knowledgeable and compassionate. I had great physical exam. She ordered medication and tests I require. I totally recommend Dr Berger

My first appt with Dr. Berger was great! She took time to listen to my concerns and was very kind. Vanessa & Christina are both very good at what they do and very professional. I feel like I am in good hands with Dr. Berger and her staff and look forward to dealing with her.

I felt welcomed by all the staff, nurse, physicians assistant, and by Dr. Berger. Each person was warm, friendly, informative, and took excellent care of me. Dr Berger gave me a very thorough examination and went over my medical history. Too often, lately, it is as if the patient is just another task to tick off the physician’s “to do” list. Doctor Berger is a true caring, intelligent physician. She is gentle and extremely focused on you, her patient. I am so happy that I switched to her practice.

Dr Alexandra Berger is amazing doctor, she very passionate. She is very attentive, this was my first visit and the doctor experience was absolutely fantastic. If your new to the area and you need Doctor.Dr Alexandra Berger is the one to go and see.

I appreciate Dr Berger with all my heart and she is the best doctor I have ever had and I am 66 years old and the nurse Christina I love them both to death I would recommend them 100% to anybody I am so happy to have found them. I couldn't have found a better doctor and nurse anywhere.

This practice is great. Wonderful experience for my first time. Alexander Berger MD was terrific and I felt very comfortable with her. Left the office knowing I made the right choice choosing her as my doctor. Kudos to the front office everyone is friendly.

This is the best experience I’ve had with a new doctor in years. The doctor herself, her staff, the wait time ( or lack thereof)—all was terrific. Dr. Berger have me a very thorough exam and was engaged in getting to know me and my body. The icing on the cake was have the subsequent tests done the next week with the follow-up scheduled the day after. Couldn’t have been better!!!
