I do NOT recommend this gym at all. I have had nothing but problems with them since it opened! I was so excited to join this gym in the beginning. I joined the personal training program and the trainers are never on time, reschedule on their clients etc.... I was told we need to complete 2 months of training in order to cancel the contract, I completed the requirement AND filled out the cancellation paperwork on time PER JAKE and still got charged $114 again today! I have left messages for him to call me about this and no word. Thank GOD I took a picture of the cancellation form with the date on it for proof to dispute this with my bank! DO NOT JOIN THIS GYM & DO NOT DO THE PERSONAL TRAINING!

If you're thinking about joining this gym BEWARE! Cancelling your membership is an absolute NIGHTMARE!!! I went into the gym in February and told them I wanted to cancel my membership. They proceeded to try to talk me out of it and tried to sell me personal training sessions instead. At that time they told me I had to wait 3 months, therefore I could cancel in May. I never once used the gym nor had any intention to, I told them that but they still refused to cancel my membership. When I returned in May to cancel my membership I was told I had to give a 30 days notice to cancel, therefore charging me for yet another month. Because apparently the 90 notice I provided in February all of a sudden wasn't sufficient. The employees are poorly trained about the company policies. Therefore I was provided with incorrect information 4 different times through the process of trying to cancel my membership. Just be very careful before joining this gym because they make it extremely difficult to get out of the membership. Stick to using their competitors. In response to the owners ridiculous response. As I stated in my initial review I WENT INTO THE GYM IN FEBRUARY TO CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP. I'm not sure how much more "in person" I could get than walking into the gym, standing at the counter and telling the manager Caleb that I wanted to cancel my membership šŸ¤” I was told that I had to wait 3 months to cancel. Then in May when I went into the club to cancel AGAIN "in person", totaling 2 "in person" visits! I was required to provide AN ADDITIONAL 30 days notice in addition to the "in person" 90 notice I provided in February resulting in yet another month of charges. How convenient for Crunch! That's the part that feels like a complete scam! Like I said, watch out for this gym, their fine print, misleading information provided by poorly trained employees and their shady business practices.

I visited here a few times already with my partner. The gym is always almost full around the time we go but rarely have to wait too long for certain machines. The selections are abundant, and the front desk people are decent. They don't check ID'S for guests consistently, though. I like that they have alot of options too from group classes to include hot Yoga. I will definitely try some of those in the near future!

My son joined being new to the area. He wasnā€™t happy the trainer spent no time with him and was no help at all. He canceled his membership knowing he had to pay a cancellation fee. Well can you explain why they have charged him almost five hundred dollars with different transactions! This coming after he paid the cancellation fee. NEVER GO HERE. We called the bank and they are helping us and because of this he had to get a new debit card. And let me add that they also hang up on him when he called and tried to speak to a manager

If I could give this place a -10, I would. I signed a contract with a young guy who told me that because I was signing on the 17th of the month, Thatā€™s when my membership of $35 would be taken out. When the $35 was taken out the first of the month, I called and spoke to the manager to complain. She said that there was nothing she could do. Initially when I signed for membership, I was told that I could cancel any time and wouldnā€™t have to pay anything for cancellation. When I walked into cancel, they charged me for three months and a $50 yearly fee. When I told both of these representatives that I was told differently, and my friend was there that signed up and she was told differently also.. They both said the same thingā€¦ Unfortunately, thereā€™s nothing we can do. When I asked for the corporate office phone number, they said they didnā€™t have it. Then because I was complaining, she started getting nasty with me. Itā€™s a scam. Donā€™t believe anything they tell you. When signing up, they tell you one thing and then they say unfortunately thereā€™s nothing we can do. All young children running this place. Save your money itā€™s a scam!

Had great potential, yet found out it is just an expensive ā€œPlanet Fitness ā€œ Was hit with a clown rule that made me realize they were not actually about fitness and training as much as they were about numbers. Coming from the beach in board shorts and flip flops I was told to put a shirt on before entering club. If they were requesting me to wear a shirt during a work out I would comply . Yet the entire point of a gym is to be able to see your success. Notice all the reflective walls( mirrors). So yeah clown rules for the mass population, which may be good for you . Me I am serious about my workouts and if I want to see my progress, I am taking my shirt off and not getting in trouble, Clowns

Beware getting a membership here! The last thing you should do is sign a contract with them. They operate by corporate policies and will charge you as much as they possibly can. Aside from your monthly payments they charge an annual fee of over fifty dollars. Please do not support this corporate gym when there are plenty of small family owned businesses that work with their customers and provide proper customer service. I have switched to Powerhouse gym, who actually have customer values and even offer free child care with your membership. Crunch is very unaccommodating and are only in the business of money, not fitness.

The gym itself is great. It is nice, clean, new, and has basically everything we need. Generally speaking the staff are welcoming. Back in July, my husband spent some $62 dollars on a personalized training session which was cancelled twice on Crunchā€™s behalf. He was promised a refund by the staff. Since that date, we have been told conflicting information regarding the refund, applicable ways to apply the money (such as a credit to our account), flat out told no to the above by Nate, and told the credit is only for PT. After four months of repeatedly coming in to check on the refund and being told conflicting information, we have a built up quite a bit of frustration. In trying to seek resolution, the staff has made it incredibly difficult to file a complaint, and Iā€™ve had to pry for any sort of email or phone number. Finally, I was given a personal gmail account for the manager, which I find preposterous and unprofessional for such a corporate and well known establishment. As much as we do like this gym, and we do really enjoy it, this whole situation has made me grown quiet resentful and have made me consider other gyms in the area.

Bright, clean and LOTS of equipment. Staff and management are friendly and helpful, and the training team is knowledgeable and very easy to work with. Like every gym Crunch has days and hours that are busier than others. It's so big and there is such a variety of equipment that I've never had a problem getting in and out of there. They also have themed events and really strive to be a part of the community.

I love Crunch. It been the the best experience I have had at a gym by far. This one is usually quite clean and staff are friendly. There are a lot of separate offerings besides just the gym membership. The environment is generally busy and everyone is focused on their work outs so it doesnā€™t take much time to wait on a machine if itā€™s a busy time of day. I love Michelle, one of their trainers I personally worked with on my own fitness goals. Sheā€™s the best! Quite a worthwhile investment if you can take the time and create consistency in your routine.

My first introduction to Crunch was curbside, before they opened. My hubby and I met the General manager, Jesse Hansen and his staff outside, in front of Crunch, signing people up. This whole process of going back to the gym after a 10 year break was very intimidating. Jesse got us signed up and told me he would get me with a personal trainer that understood how to work with my just healed broken foot. I was assigned to Personal Trainer Kevin Estrada Hernandez. During my introductory appointment Kevin listened attentively to my goals and concerns about my recent injury. He created a fitness plan for me with goals that I will have to work for, but are attainable. I am now going to crunch 4 days a week and being trained by Kevin. I am very happy with the progress I have made in a short time. I go into Crunch quite often and never have I ever seen a more personable, approachable General Manager as Jesse. He never stops and always manages to look calm. I can always recognize good leadership by looking at all the other employees attitudes and in this Stuart Crunch itā€™s a great atmosphere.

Kelly is horrible. Deliberately ignored me and helped a couple that came in when I was literally standing in front of her at the front desk. Itā€™s a bit weird how they canā€™t keep employees here. All the good workers are gone and now thereā€™s another new general managerā€¦again? Iā€™ve been coming here since Crunch first opened, but the new GM and some of the employees are rude. Two stars because i like the equipment.

After leaving few good reviews today unfortunately I had unpleasant experience with SARA/front desk, she denied access to my guest to visit class with me. My membership allows guest privileges, and policy she referenced to is not exist in writing. Guest allowed to attend classes with paying member, and yet we were not able to do so today. Otherwise fitness is great place, open and always clean. We like hot yoga class with Dale.

The place is well equipt with all that you'd need and want to train however, you have to avoid the after work crowd from like 4-7pm. It is just way too crowded to do anything. Constantly waiting on equipment. If you plan on doing something a head of time, you end up having to change it because everything you want is taken up. Place is great during the off hours though.

This gym has so many options. After trial and error for me, I found my place in the hot yoga studio. The instructors are amazing. Dale is a great instructor, is easy to follow and considerate. Belle makes it fun, upbeat and optimistic (we all need a little sunshine!) Sarah's instruction is calming and relaxing, perfect for a Saturday morning. Tracie's classes are intense but humbling. I've noticed more yoga classes being offered and I think it is a great thing. I'm new to yoga (only 2 or 3 months!), but whats important is I feel like a new person. Stronger, determined and never forgetting my intention (thanks Dale)

Everyone is so helpful. Adam did a great kick off training session! I had fun in the Zumba class! The corporate package is really helpful partnering with to support local business and exposure for the salon and Salt sauna I own for their guests and so much to offer to tell my clients about during their visit with us! Itā€™s just a great place to stay healthy is affordable is clean and hours are good as well.

First time here at this facility, I brought my son as a guest per usual every time I work out. They made me walk all the way back to the car to get my ID so they can hold on to my ID just for having him with me since heā€™s 16. No other facility has ever done this. NONE!!! They always allow him to sign the e-waiver and my membership validated who I am. I thought this was so unfair and unnecessary. Planet fitness has never gave me this much trouble and theyā€™re cheaper with less hassle.

Something is always broken, class floors are dirty you're stepping on hair and dirt. I've told the manager and sent emails many times, now they have a swifter in there that just pushes the dirt around. I've never once seen anyone cleaning the class floors. Water fountain broke, bathroom broke, scale broke, TVs not working, yoga room heat not working. This is a brand new center. Machines are good, staff ok 6 behind counter talking. Locker room floor gross, sauna floor gross. Supplies low, paper towels for tp in bathroom.

Iā€™ve been going to Crunch around three years but I took a break and decided to come back recently. Iā€™m so glad I did because Iā€™m at the best worker. Her name is Kelly and I was greeted by her at the front desk. She gave me a tour answered an all my questions. Definitely gonna come bring my friends and come back again plus the facility is awesome and very clean.

Amazing and super nice staff, the equipment and everything is always super clean too. I have a total blast working out here with my hubby and we're seeing big results. Sara is such a helpful bubbly sweetheart too, I wish I had her energy LOL :)

The gym itself is great, nice equipment and many areas to workout. The issue is their customer service. Whoever I was talking to on the phone seriously needs to work on his service skills. Asking him simple questions about gym equipment annoys him apparently.

  • 3/5 T. C. 2 years ago on Google
Lots of equipment and nice place, but I really wish they would push people to clean their machines after working out. Suggestions: Add more barbell clips to the squat area; I can barely ever find any. Add a wall mirror/floor length mirror to the locker rooms. Hand sanitizer stations would be nice

Hidden fees, BE WARNED - IF YOU NEED TO CANCEL YOUR MEMBERSHIP, donā€™t have any of the incompetent employees help you through it. I was left paying a membership and charged another annual fee the very next month. Then when I spoke to the manager they wouldnā€™t waive the fee and he flat out called me a liar. Iā€™ve already spoken with corporate and received my funds after he told me they would never give me my money back. Thereā€™s a reason you worked your whole entire life to become the manager of a gym. Kick rocks.

Today was my initial training with Chris he is very knowledgeable in all areas of working out especially if you had prior injuries or surgeries. Crunch Fitness is a great place to work out. All machines are new technology, great atmosphere and very clean.

Melanie helped me go from being out of work, drinking daily, terrible diet, and struggling to keep my girlfriend to traveling the world, landed a killer job, and confident. Sheā€™s passionate about training her clients, knowledgeable, eternally positive, and really went the extra mile for me with encouraging messages throughout the week in between our training sessions. I was only able to afford shorter training sessions, and she and the Crunch team took me on and helped me make the most of them! Now that things are going so well, Iā€™ve upped my frequency and duration of sessions. Thereā€™s a lot of trainers out there, but her holistic approach (body/mindset/diet/spirit) really made my experience with her such a huge success!

Today my best friend and I went in for a tour of the gym, it was our first time ever being there. We were guided by staff member Kelly & she was an absolutely phenomenal host. She made us feel welcome, she showed us around the entire gym, and she explained each section in detail. She showed us what made crunch different from other gyms and explained what kind of workouts we could do with which machines, and also showed us the different classrooms as well. She really sold us today. We were also introduced to our new trainer Deion, who seemed really skillful and helpful. Iā€™m really looking forward to learning and growing at crunch. I went in expecting to like it but ended up LOVING it. Iā€™m so excited to be a new member at Crunch fitness. Thanks to Kelly for making our tour so great (:

Clean, wide open. Great variety of machines, classes and trainers of all experiences and talents. I have an injury, and chronic illness, so it's important to me that it be clean and accessible, and it is! Lots of engagement with the staff who are kind and helpful, Some, already know my routine which means I don't even have to ask for something what can I say about my trainer? He pushes me when I want to stop and never talks down to me ! I highly recommend it

I moved and they had to charge me an extra month before I could cancel. I was billed and 2 days later was able to come in to cancel. So I literally paid for 58 days of a gym I couldn't go to. Just a slimy way to do business. The gym itself is great! That staff was super cool and helpful. It's just unfortunate their policies are slimy.

Promised $20 per person you sign up. I signed up two people. Over 6 months later and 8 talks with the people at the front desk in a revolving door of getting nowhere, no $40 that the gym owes me. Straight scam. Good gym otherwise if you donā€™t mind overcrowded high school type feels.

Went in to just purchase a regular membership. Talked into 6 session training package with a $10 1st session consult. I didnā€™t want the whole consult so I got 61/2 training sessions . The trainer assigned did the consult anyway and then 1/2 through the deal didnā€™t show up for work. They then assigned me to another trainer who finished the training sessions and signed up for another package. I went to the scheduled session and this trainer said he messed upā€¦ ā€œsorry for miscommunicationā€ā€¦ he had not set up me up on the app either for me to have a workout schedule when on my own ā€¦ He said he couldnā€™t work out with me at that time becuz he had a meeting. I went to work out on my own and who do I see working out but the trainer . I contacted crunch the same day to cancel the private trainer being this was the 2nd incident and the gal who answered phone said she would have a mgr call me. Instead, the trainer texted ā€¦I then contacted Crunch again on Saturday and the mgr was put on phone and he was rude, unprofessional and dismissive. I asked to speak to his supervisor and he said ā€œhe wonā€™t be in till Monday ā€œ but heā€™s gonna tell you the same thingā€. I said this is the 2nd time something has happened with a trainer and I would like to just cancel the trainings and keep basic monthly . He once again was rude and unprofessional. Just beware that selling packages is #1 priority not client satisfaction.

I setup an initial appointment with Justin and the first session he never showed up so I went with Michelle G. Things were going fine and then one day she didnā€™t show up. They DO NOT care about your time. 2 months after I cancelled the session I was charged for the session my trainer didnā€™t show up to. I never used a trainer before and after this experience I probably never will again and strongly advise anyone who asks to not waste your time.
