Aqua Buddies is the BEST place for local swim and survival float instruction! We began a few weeks before my sons first birthday, and in 4 weeks he was floating solo. By 8 weeks he could ‘fall’ face first and turn to float for safety. As a Floridian, there is no greater gift you can give your child (and yourself!) than the tools they need to stay safe around water. Julie and Jen are fantastic with kids of all ages, the facility is impeccably clean, and we love that it’s indoors so we don't need to ever worry about weather hindering our schedules.

Ms Julie at Aqua Buddies is truly amazing. My son is 4 years old and I was dreading him starting lessons because he was alway visibly nervous about going under water or being in a pool. Ms Julie was so patient and continuously reassured my son that she is right here with him and that she wouldn't let anything happen. He graduated yesterday and he's my little nemo. He loves the water, will jump in without hesitation. He's so confident and so happy that he graduated and accomplished and pushed through his fear. Seeing him float, turn over and swim like a pro warms my heart Thank you so much for making this experience seamless and being so patient. I highly recommend Aqua Buddies to all parents. I started my daughter in swim a few weeks before she turned 2. She is extremely headstrong- but thanks to Ms Jens patience my daughter is now so excited to go to swim!!! She graduated today- and we will be continuing with maintenance classes. She has zero fear when it comes to water and now I can breathe a little easier knowing she’s learned the skills to save herself. Both Jen and Julie are very welcoming and so great with the kids. Our son just graduated from Aqua Buddies and we're so happy! The facility is indoors so you don't have to worry about heat or rain. They have monitors so you can watch the whole time. Ms. Julie was a wonderful teacher and the communication was great. We're so glad he is trained now to be in and around a pool. We highly recommend!

Aqua buddies is the best place to bring your child to learn how to survive in water. My son did a tremendously job. He’s over confident now all because of aqua buddies. Our daughter took ISR classes several years ago, but had become scared of the pool since. Julie and Jen were extremely patient with her and really helped to rebuild her confidence. Now we can’t get her out of the pool, and we feel confident that she would know how to react if she were to accidentally fall in. We can’t thank Aqua Buddies enough.

There are not enough words in the dictionary to describe just how incredible Aqua buddies is at teaching kids how to float & swim. I have now taken my 4 year old & 8 month old who have both graduated, and are now incredible swimmers! Ms. Jen was our main teacher but we were lucky enough to have Ms. Julie jump in sometimes too! Stop looking around and call now! They are the best of the best! Plus, you’re not sweating sitting on the sidelines because it’s inside with cool air!

We absolutely love Aqua Buddies. Ms. Julie and Ms. Jen are both absolutely Angels sent from above. They are incredible patient, knowledgeable, and fun-loving. My 3 kids stared about a month ago and they are already experts in survival swimming which has made me more comfortable to being them around water. The facility is very well maintained and equipped.

Aqua buddies made me feel comfortable from the beginning when my daughter would cry the whole time when she first started. She ended up asking for swim class everyday because she grew to love it so much and just graduated yesterday! I would highly recommend using aqua buddies they are qualified, knowledgeable and most of all efficient!

Aquq Buddies Swim School is awesome for starting young ones with essential survival and swimming classes. I trusted them to show my 2 year old son how to manage himself in the event that he fell into water and he enjoyed himself in the process. Ms. Julie was patient and professional while working with my son until he mastered the skills. The school is well safe and designed with viewing screens in the wait area so that you can see your young one learn. They also give you tips on how to supplement the lessons. I would definitely recommend Aqua Buddies for young ones to happily learn essential water survival skills.

We love Aqua Buddies. My son is always so excited to see Ms Jen and she always receives my son with lots of love. The staff is very professional and clean facilities. My son is 2 years old and it took around 6 to 7 weeks for my him to graduate. We will continue maintenance sessions with Ms Jen and it was great a experience.

We love Aqua Buddies! Love that this is an indoor facility that is very neat & clean. All of the ladies there are awesome instructors and their services definitely exceeded our expectations. Our oldest daughter was swimming after her first week with them and graduated within 3 weeks. Excited for our youngest daughter to start with them next!

My daughter just completed their roll over to float course with Ms Jen. She started when she was 10 months and I can't believe the progress she made. My husband and I are so glad we invested in the survival course. Ms Jen and the rest of the staff are wonderful. The facility is beautiful, clean and indoors which is a wonderful perk. My daughter is now going to maintenance and I know we will continue at Aqua Buddies for years to come.

I recommend parents to have there child go to this swim school if they want there child to learn how to swim. My daughter started at 7 months and just turned 8 months and is about to graduate this week. She came a long way and started to trust her swim instructor. The teachers are excellent with there students and patient. My daughter loves the water even more now.

I brought my daughter to Aqua Buddies after her first birthday and within a couple weeks, she was floating. During the winter, we didn’t use the pool and she grew a fear of the water. I reenrolled her for a maintenance course in which Sara and Julie were SO patient with her and had her floating again in less than a week. After 5 weeks, she not not only floating again, but swimming short distances as well. The first week of her maintenance course, she was so afraid she didn’t want to get into the water but by her 5 week, I could hardly get her out of the water. I couldn't thank Aqua Buddies enough for my daughter’s detrimental life skill!

I had just bought a house with a pool and wanted to make sure that my one year-old was safe around the pool. The women at the school were very patient very sweet talk my one year-old had a float had a flip over that if she was in the pool with her clothes she would still know how to float and flip over taught her how to dive into the water. I was very happy with my experience there and is soon as she gets a little bit older I will be bringing her back for regular swimming lessons

Ms Jen and Ms Julie make a wonderful team! They are attentive and patient with my 5 and 7 year old sons. The first lesson, my youngest did not want to get in the pool but by the next day he was begging to go to swim class. My husband and I are grateful that the boys have graduated from survival class and no longer have to be nervous around water. The boys enjoyed their experience so much that we signed them up for swim maintenance to keep up their skills and for them to continue in the fun. I cannot be more thankful for miss julie at Aqua buddies for teaching my baby who’s not such a baby but a 4 yo the skills he needs to survive for floating and flipping and swimming now for maintenance and then onto bigger and better things. Utmost the most patience for children and the water. 💯 hands down the best and would recommend this school over and over again

Aqua Buddies is awesome. Their facility is indoors and here in the “sunshine” state it was genius to do that. Aqua buddies has 3 instructors, my daughter’s instructor was the owner, Julie, who put her and me as ease at the first lesson. She explained everything to me that was she doing and why especially as my daughter progressed in the program. After spending some time there I can tell you all instructors are as awesome as Julie. I saw all sorts of swimmers there from big kids all the way down to 6 months old. The pool is huge so even when all the instructors have a student the lessons still really feel one on one. There are 3 huge TV’s with cameras at all different angles so you can see exactly what’s going on during the lesson. The waiting room is spacious and everything there is really clean. There is even a shower to rinse off afterward. We loved our time so much at Aqua Buddies so much that we will be continuing with “maintenance” classes 3 times a week until our pool is finished. Drowning is the biggest reason kids under the age of 4 die and with FL being full of pools, ponds and of course the ocean I’m so grateful that Aqua Buddies is available to teach my daughter to be safe no matter which situation she finds herself in. This is the best thing we ever did for our 14month old! Ms. Julie is so patient and kind with all her students. It took my child 7 weeks to graduate and she is much more happy and comfortable in the water now! We can feel at ease knowing she has these survival skills!! Thank you Ms. Julie!

Our daughter was deadly afraid of going into a pool without her floaties. Ms. Julie really worked with her and was able to help her release her fear of water. She now floats and swims on her own! They are amazing!!! My 8 month old can now float for more than 5 minutes. It's a huge commitment, but totally worth every minute and every penny. Not only am I comfortable with him being around pools, but I am more comfortable during bath time each night, knowing he has the skills to survive, god forbid anything where to ever happen! Ms. Jenn and Ms. Julie are amazing. They were very patient, effective and efficient. They made each session fun for him and he felt comfortable with them from the start.
