đź‘Ťđź‘Ť Seattle has changed. Be careful where you go not only in night. The homeless population has greatly increased and some seem to have clear mental health issues while others openly do drugs. It's very varied. Downtown itself is pretty and weather generally nice. The ferry terminal has been bit of mess... People often mention ferry, Seattle, Bainbridge, ride, views,

We played tourist in Seattle and the Ferry offered a beautiful and economical ride to Bainbridge Island. The ride back to Seattle is free. It has many convenient departure times and you can grab a brochure with schedules to take with you. Plenty of seating options and great views inside and out on the deck. The Ferry offers clean bathrooms and snacks via vending machines. I have to mention the views again - breath taking! You won’t be disappointed.

Seattle has changed. Be careful where you go not only in night. The homeless population has greatly increased and some seem to have clear mental health issues while others openly do drugs. It's very varied. Downtown itself is pretty and weather generally nice. The ferry terminal has been bit of mess with construction but much seems to be improving. The ferry staff are efficient and helpful. Check schedule as it varies and sometimes routes are delayed or cancelled.

Great town! Arrived on the Bainbridge Island ferry from the Olympic Peninsula. What an epic view to arrive to. We drove our car through the International District, which was alive and full of energy. My son had a soccer game at the arboretum. There was a lot of construction around the ferry, but the rest of the way was easy to navigate using the GPS.

My heart is now in Seattle, I loved it there. The food is amazing, the sound is beautiful. Even the rain was not nearly as dreary as people described it. Definitely visit if you can.

Older woman walking with a cane. The old elevator to the street is shut down and the shiny new terminal is not yet open. My choice was walking up two long flights of stairs or out to the passenger only terminal, down to the only working elevator, and then make the long walk to the actual ferry entrance. Hardest moment in my cross country trip. It may be ADA compliant but it's still unconscionable.

Fantastic ferry ride to Bainbridge !! Beautiful views from the ferry deck on both ways and what a way to appreciate the skyline of this beautiful city. The ride is about 30 mins and the ferry runs every hour or so. The ferry is very easy to take, just like taking a bus, you tag your orca card when board the ferry. You don't even have to pay when you come back from Bainbridge Island. The ferry has tons of seats and was pretty empty anyway during my trip on a winter day.

Great sunny day. They are rebuilding the waterfront area as they took down the eye sore freeway going through. Everything is being redone and will look great when done. They've really cleaned up the area.

The ferry is super spacious inside. The restaurant inside is closed temporarily due to COVID. Has restrooms. Tickets reasonably priced. It’s cool to watch a million cars for inside. Great views and cool easy thing to do as a visitor. Bainbridge is hip but small. Go there for food and then come back to Seattle to make it a day.

I went with a group to go to Bainbridge Island and have a picnic. Despite the ongoing construction on at Seattle ferry entrance, everything was well marked and we navigated well. There are complications at Bainbridge that delayed the boarding process, but once the Coast Guard gave clearance, everything moved along well. Our ride back was right at sunset/dusk and it was breathtaking. Everything about the ferry ride was well worth the money.

My favorite part of visiting Seattle is always taking the ferry. Affordable, efficient, and great views. Fun to see jellyfish in the water too!

Seattle is full of life. Don’t be fooled by some of the things you hear. So bad things happen sometimes. Yes, just like everywhere… but you shouldn’t hide yourself as you are the magic???

I loved the city. The atmosphere was cleaner and less sad than when I was there last year. They have cleared up the homeless that were everywhere last year. Not sure if that was done well or not, but the city smelled better and was slightly less off-putting. Lots to do and see, even without spending outrageously.

Terminal is undergoing an upgrade at the moment, but is still really easy to navigate. Such a stress-free way to travel across the sound. Easy foot access right up to 1st Avenue via the walkway! Coming from Bainbridge, parking there and being a foot passenger to Seattle worked out cheaper all round.

Love taking the ferry when we are in town. It is fast and so easy to get to. The staff is friendly and lots of room on board for everyone. Will recommend the ferry for a day-trip to the island.

Lovely terminal to depart from. On a clear day you get views of the Olympics, Cascades, and Rainier.

The intent to take the Ferry was to go to Bainbridge Island, which is a beautiful— yet small— place. The island was fun, cute and clean. However, the real treat was the ferry!! I had so much fun on it. I never take ferries, I recommend it soooo much!! Each adult ticket was $9, no need to buy a round ticket since it’s included in that one. If you’re a photographer, model, tourist, or just want a change of scenery, you cannot miss the ferry ⛴
