First The website is trash. I am not computer illiterate, and I can barley use it. So many unnecessary redundant steps and their records won't even let you see back over ten years. What about those that retired out?! how does that help. Secondly You go in to the clinic in person and no one wants to help. You have to get the information from the website (which is trash see above). You can not make an appointment, you have to call the call center. Even though the clinic HAS NO ONE IN IT! Thirdly You can not get meds refilled cause their pharmacy is to small, even though they service/have the entire building. Seriously?! Fourth You can not get vaccine with out an appointment (ok, most places are like this) but no appointments are available, and OH did I mention you have to see the doctor FIRST. Which ALSO doesn't have appointments until 6 months from now (refer to trash point 2). Who ever is running this doesn’t want to help vets they wanted to give us the run around to get help so we all just die off slowly.

Lab is closed from 1200 to 1300. Why isn't there somebody to relieve people of lunch? Here is a better idea; Take turns doing lunch while keeping operations open, you get more tasks done this way. Everybody taking lunch st the same time waste peoples' time having to wait.

Love the new spot. Everything is clean and organized. Service was fast for my annual physical, I was out of there in less than an hour and I got labs done...Niceee

Eric in the audiology clinic is excellent. He provides excellent service. When I am in the clinic everyone is very helpful and friendly.

Terrible. This clinic can do better to serve veterans. Perhaps training its staff what the mission is. I will reach out separately to the Patient Advocate on my experience today. The deceitful 'gentleman' (which is a stretch) who called me from this clinic - This clerk decides that HE HAS THE AUTHORITY who gets to see a provider on this clinic - Seems to me this is a POWER TRIP and I am sure with little consequence nor accountability - Cancelled my appointment that was set up by their own VA call center - Cowardly refused to transfer me to his supervisor - Gave me the run around and some bureaucratic red tape excuse - Needs a reminder what the 'V' on VA stands for The appointment was set up by YOUR VA Call CENTER. If YOUR OWN call center missed to inform this clinic on an inhouse procedure this clinic has, then THIS IS THE VA's FAULT and not the patient. Discuss this with YOUR OWN CALL CENTER. DON'T STICK it to the veteran. I got it that it IMPOSSIBLE TO FIRE a VA employee which is really unfortunate. But this 'gentleman' needs some serious training or reprimand.

I was called by my doctor to have labs drawn for a next day appointment, I check the website for chula vista lab and it shows open until 1600. I arrive at 1535 and the lady at the front desk told me the lab closes at 1530. PLEASE UPDATE YOUR WEBSITE WITH CORRECT TIMES not only am i wasting my time, I waste the gas to get here. Not a good day or a satisfied vertern.

I really like the doctors I see in this location they are truly on top of everything for my health. I love how clean it is and you actually feel like you are walking into a medical facility. I have no problems with getting in touch with my doctors if needed! Overall I am truly happy.

Received an email notification from PA via my healthy vet directing me to go to labs. Can’t pick up medication refill until I get labs done. Email said labs open at 0700. I got to clinic at 0645 to find out lab’s don’t open until 0730. My time is valuable and I have to work for a living. Now late to work.

My nurse was really nice, Latasha. She helped me with my glucose meter. It's a brand spanking new clinic. Very nice. I like this place. Has nice comfortable chairs

I have been calling consistently for a month trying to see mental health and today after a month of repeat calls the appointment line operator told me they have absolutely no notes in the system of me requesting to speak to my doctor even tho I've been calling for weeks requesting the exact same thing.... it's so tiring dealing with the VA

The Chula Vista VA Clinic is the best of places and the worst. The VA pharmacy here, which doesn't exist, has a nice pharmacist who's not swamped. At least some physicians here are uninterested in the lives and bodies of their patients. They have unknown people on their teams write at least some veterans under their care threatening and insulting notes. Any organization, though, is by definition a collection of automatons who act in conformity with the dictates of an object, the organization. While slaves, they're have a thing for a master. This is Kafka's observation. The only VA pharmacy in San Diego is in LaJolla, though the Chula Vista VA clinic has permitted Google to say in its description of the Chula Vista that it includes a pharmacy. There is however a pharmacy, but no pills, ointments or anything else given by prescription.

Staff was very friendly and courteous. Looked brand new and well maintained.

I was able to find parking relatively easily. And get to my appointment. They took me in 45 mins early with little wait time.

My primary care is here and I like my doctor. I have had some medical issues over the past five years and used phlebotomy often. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I feel well-cared for here and am very fortunate to have access to the VA Healthcare System.
