It was primarily Hispanic and very friendly. I felt right at home. There was something for everyone. Great experience. Wear sunscreen and stay hydrated. There was only one building with booths, the rest of the booths are outside.

Allot of the items I wanted didn't have a price on them. Even the fruits had no prices. Don't like asking how much something cost in fear of paying more because I'm a tourist.

Party goes down Sunday at the Pulga De Ortiz! Best seafood in Fort Myers! Vuelve a la Vida, try there oysters preparadas! Sooooo good your mouth will still water even after! As a vendor for the first time, I should be out of inventory next Sunday. No contracts no fees. Walk in walk out with cash in your hands! Everyone is family.❤

I wouldn’t even give it a one star they are a rip off don’t not go to them tell us one price then when we get back to truck they tell us another price ….it is good work but they change prices on you when you get back to pick up your vehicle. Will not use them again

Great place for produce and leather belts and boots. Everything is outdoors and there’s a lot of vendors. I found produce that you not normally find in stores. And great authentic and delicious Mexican foods. There’s lots of free parking, but be sure to get there early for they get busy as the day goes by.

It’s okay but not really much viarty to choose from yes there’s like 6 rolls of vending sheds but the have the same things across all of them plus I in my opinion I think the asking prices for the usted items are a little to high

It's not so much of a traditional flea market with second (or more) hand items and antiques, but mostly off brand new items, (shoes, clothing, electronics, jewelry, toys etc.) For sale. My biggest complaint, there are no prices on anything. There are a fair number of vendors selling leather goods, cowboy hats, boots, belts etc. Still a good way to kill a couple of hours.

So much stuff in one place. BUT there are good finds within. There's lot of clothes, used tools and work gear. There's lots of parking, but the place is so busy, expect to spend 10 to 15 minutes to luck out finding a spot. No tengo dinero hoy, no compro hoy. LOL Most of the shoppers and a good portion of the vendors were Mexican. There was some stalls selling cowboy boots and others, leather belts. I'll be back for those. I'll be sure to bring money next time. Bought a nice pair of cowboy boots. There's multiple vendors with a large selection.

Good deals on used equipment, nice selection of fashionable clothing, and a few food stands that serve foods of delicacy

If you want to be a vendor, DO NOT be one behind office. May be a great area due to bathroom and food but office staff refuse to park in general area making impossible to get buyers vehicles in to load purchased items and the women who park there refuse to move. Will not be returning. Customer service goes a long way both for vendors and should be for staff who are supposed to work with us . If we had known that ahead of time would NOT have chosen the spot. Now we know why such a prime spot remained available.

It's a down-to-earth and half-Spanish-speaking place where you can enjoy a bargain shopping and enjoy the friendliness of both shoppers and vendors. Oh they also local ethnic food serving here.

We came here and got so much awesome stuff at great bargain prices and then it was really really hot so we went to menchies frozen yogurt on Daniels parkway to treat the kids to ice cream well frozen yogurt but it tastes just like ice cream

Back in March I had my birthday at a Japanese steakhouse and enjoyed hibachi. At my hibachi table was a couple whom through conversation found out that they owned Ortiz flea market. I was totally surprised I did not know that there was another flea market besides flea Masters. So finding this out I went to the Ortiz flea market and the first thing that struck me is that I shouldn't be buying my vegetables at the grocery store! Ortiz flea market had all the vegetables that I would normally buy and some of that I was willing to try on entering the flea market I spotted some nectarines I went over checked them out and then continued on isles and isles of real people who set up just that day. if you want to go to a real flea market where you don't know what you're going to find week to week I recommend the Ortiz flea market.

It was a cold day so there was not much except permanent booths. But it was fun to walk around anyway.

Authentic Hispanic food. Great flea market. Included farmers market, prepared food, clothing, shoe, electronic, and mattress stalls. As well as antiques, home goods and livestock vendors. Family friendly.

So much good stuff. But the food is the real highlight of this great flea market. Try the tacos.

Lots of fruits and vegetables, plants, live poultry, knock-off import clothing and tools, leather footwear and belts, and then your misc garage sale stuff. Parking is horrible. Early Sunday afternoon was a grid lock. Get there early for a spot. Helps to speak spanish in this market! 3 stars because of parking and no traffic control.

This flea market is great for buying produce . You'll find just about every vegetable there is, and some you never knew existed....and the Mexican food, fresh and authentic... tasty dishes

Lots of produce and Mexican food! Very crowded and parking is limited. Definitely worth the visit if your looking for fruit & veggies. A fair amount of western & construction wear plus footwear😎

  • 4/5 Brandon H. 2 years ago on Google
It was a very pleasant visit. Music was playing, lots of choices for food. The selection for plants and fruit was great! The selection for almost anything we would look for in a flea market was on point.
