They did everything from appraising an heirloom piece of jewelry, utilizing it as credit, and custom designing a new piece in the span of about a month. Jack was quick with communication (even when he was on vacation) and provided detailed designs with explanations and options for perfecting the ring to my taste. Olmaz hit it out of the park again with impeccable service. I hadn't been by in quite a while, and as always, remembered my name. This time they worked with me to design a custom piece to remember my sweet (almost 14 1/2 year old) dog who we had to help cross the rainbow bridge earlier this summer. Needless to say I was heartbroken, but now I have this simple, elegant charm to wear with his paw print laser engraved.

A friend was telling me how she loves this place and I am so glad she did. I had a piece of jewelry that needed to be brought back to life and not only did they understand the issue they fixed it wonderfully. I walked out the store wearing the piece. They are friendly, personable, and the store smells so amazing(aroma therapy when you walk in the door) just walking in I felt better before I even told them my problem. The jewelry selection in the store was mesmerizing. I saw some unique things that I will be returning to inquire about when I have a moment. I can't believe I go to the grocery and beauty store right next door and have never walked inside. This place is something special. Stopped in to pick out an anniversary gift for my wife and met Jack as they opened shop for the day. I had an idea in mind but wasn't entirely sure of what I would settle on. We spent time going over many options, walked the entire display and put together different pieces based off of her style and current jewelry. It was a great, fun, and low pressure experience. Yesterday, I picked up my new wedding set from Olmaz Jewelers. After almost 25 years with a fairly plain wedding band and solitaire, I felt ready for something new, and I'm beyond thrilled with this set! 🤩💎💍 Shopping for this ring was our first time at Olmaz. Elie, the owner, was wonderfully patient and helpful in finding the right style and pairing that with some beautiful suggestions within our budget. Olmaz also sized up two inherited rings and serviced a pair of opal earrings and a matching necklace (not shown) that were handed down from my mother but had been sitting in my jewelry box for 15+ years. Absolutely excellent service, beautiful and immaculate store, and high-quality products. We purchased one-of-a-kind gold earrings from an estate that were elegantly wrapped as a Christmas gift for my mother; she loves them! I was gifted a medical bracelet that was adjusted for size free of charge. I had a Tiffany's necklace chain repaired for $20, whereas I paid $50 for the same repair elsewhere. Staff are very friendly, including the owner! Thrilled that Olmaz stayed intact through the pandemic. Highly recommend.

I've brought two Citizen watches to them for simple battery replacements. I was told that both needed to be serviced by a watchmaker even thought there had been no prior issues before battery dying. When I took them to a trusted watch maker they told me that the last person that worked on the watch had contaminated the mechanics. When I told them Olmaz had last worked on it they told me they have had dozens of people who have had issues after leaving their watches there. Major bummer because the watches have sentimental value but are now essentially totaled. Do not take your watch here unless you do not like said watch.

We love Olmaz Jewelers. Jack and Elie are the best. They give the customer service and care of the local jewelry store of days gone by. I’m so Grateful they came to Chapel Hill to share their gifts and knowledge with North Carolina. Their selection of jewelry is phenomenal and their desire to make sure you’re happy with each piece, can not be matched in the Triangle. I will be forever grateful for their “Wish Lists” that make each milestone sparkle.

I cannot say enough good things about Olmaz Jewelers! From the first time I walked in, I experienced amazing customer service. After having small diamonds come out of my ring multiple times, I worked with Elie to have my ring reset. I couldn’t decide if I wanted a redesign, additional band for an anniversary, etc. and Elie patiently worked with me throughout the process. He presented me with all my options, so I was able to make an educated decision. I ultimately decided to reset my ring with my diamonds to look as close to the original as possible & I added two additional stones to represent our children. The results exceeded my expectations - I love it even more than I thought I would! It looks just like the original, but with the wonderful new addition and a more sturdy feel. Both the price & timeframe were very reasonable & fair. I never felt pushed or rushed & I couldn’t be more thankful for the care that was given to my ring that I’ll cherish forever.

I had stopped by to get a watch bracelet resized and they were able to assist with it. The process was fast. Not only did they ensure that it was a good fit but they also provided a small bag for the links/pins/screws. I appreciate the great service and would not hesitate to recommend them!

My experience at Olmaz has been truly incredible. The jeweler on duty offered us a warm greeting right as we entered and was very kind and reassuring. All I needed was a fix for a broken clasp on my chain, and the man took it right inside to fix it as fast as possible. He periodically checked in on us to let us know how it was going, and we were in and out in about ten minutes. Genuinely can’t wait to come back, they really do have some of the coolest pieces. I took my 37 yr old wedding ring to Olmaz to have it repaired after getting estimates at 2 other jewelers, and I found that Olmaz Jewelers were so much more welcoming and also honest with me about my ring. The other jewelers wanted to repair my ring the way they wanted to see it fixed and didn’t really care how I wanted my ring to look. I worked with Jack and I could tell he was being very honest with me (I didn’t feel that at the other places), he made me feel very comfortable about leaving my ring with him and when I picked it up, I was in awe of how beautiful they restored my ring. It really sparkles now. What girl doesn’t love her diamond to sparkle!!! Thank Olmaz Jewelers. I’m a happy girl!!!

Came in today to get the bracelet on my Seiko Alpinist sized. Elie was super helpful and friendly. He took the time to remove links, check the fit on my wrist multiple times, and packaged up the extra links for me. When I asked him what I owed he told me there was no charge. Cant say enough about how friendly the staff at Olmaz are. Will definitely be returning the next time I need some jewelry.

My partner and I thought we were going into Olmaz just to try some rings and see what they looked like. We were just browsing. Because Jack and the staff took the time to chat with us and show us several designs, we ended up finding the perfect ring. My partner and I were both speechless at the final product. They helped make this moment so special. And they are funny and kind.

Spent so much time helping me order two cheap chains for my costume jewelry. I messed up and ordered the wrong size. When they came in and I realized it, they reordered them for me at no cost. They paid for MY mistake! And spent hours helping me with such a monetarily small purchase! And even modified my chains for free! Unbeatable customer service.

After Pandora told me I would need to buy a new bracelet because they don’t fix them; I decided to come here to see if my bracelet could be repaired. I called first. Very friendly person I spoke with. When I got there I was greeted with a “Hello, how may I help you?” I mentioned that I called to see if my bracelet could be repaired she responded “The pandora” The owner looked at the bracelet and said “Give me a sec”. In less than five minutes my bracelet was fixed and he said it was such an easy fix… Free of charge! Definitely recommended!!!

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! I stopped by to have them clean and tighten a ring (that probably hadn’t had any maintenance in 5-10 years) & tighten a gap in a clasp on a Tiffany bracelet. I was expecting to drop it off and pick it up later. But they did all of that work in LESS THAN 10 MINUTES! I asked how much I owed and they said it was just a courtesy! They are so personable, professional, & kind. Very pleased with the service, both of pieces look and fit incredible!

Elie helped me redesign an old ring and design a necklace. He took the time to show me a variety of stones to put into my ring and necklace. These pieces are beautiful! Impressed is an understatement. Elie made a ring that was associated with unpleasant memories into a new beautiful piece. I can’t wait to come back and have some more pieces designed.

When we started our search for wedding bands, we checked out a shop closer to our house in Raleigh, and VERY quickly realized the products and services we would get from Jack and his team at Olmaz were unparalleled. I had an idea of the band I wanted, and this other jeweler immediately told me it wouldn’t be possible with the current engagement ring I have. When I visited Jack, he told me he could create whatever band I wanted, and he delivered on that promise! Jack took so much time to help us figure out exactly what we wanted, delivered an amazingly high quality product, and I am SO excited to get to wear my band next week after we get married! I love Olmaz Jewelers! I lost a small, pave diamond from my engagement ring for the first time in almost 7 years. I also needed a ring I have had for 3 years and barely worn resized. The process at Olmaz was incredibly easy while still being detailed and thorough with incredible customer service. Their shop is amazing and beautiful too. My rings were returned to me in a timely manner. The work was fantastic and my rings were cleaner than I had ever seen them.
