Have been going to Gary's for 15 years across many different cars. I would recommend this shop, without hesitation, to anyone. Honest, solid repairs for a reasonable price. I believe they treat you like they would like to be treated themselves. Nice family run operation that you can trust.

Honestly from the time I made the appointment to the time I received my invoice everything was great! The reviews are true the customer service is amazing. I dropped my car off the night before and Tony called to confirm he has my care. I got an update within a couple of hours. I have quite a few things to do on my car but I trust them with it. I love that their parts have warranties as well. You don't see that often. If you need a honest and reliable shop this is it.

Where do I begin...this shop is top notch and I understand why they're highly rated. I went to Gary's for a second opinion after the first shop I went to didn't even inspect my car (literally drove it for 2 minutes and never put it on the lift) and quoted me over $1300 to fix what they guessed was the problem, which ended up not being close to what the issue was. When I called to set the appointment with Gary's, they took all of my information and my description of what was happening. Once I arrived for my appointment, Tony greeted me like I was a high value customer even though I'd never been there before. He already had my name and information pulled up and all he had to do was enter additional details in the record. I've never experienced that type of efficiency in an auto service shop. I gave him my key, verified my contact information, and was out the door. A few hours later, I'm talking to Tony and he goes into meticulous detail of what they did to diagnose the issue. Long story short, it was possibly a known manufacturer issue and he recommended that I see the dealership to confirm instead of charging me to fix something that may not resolve the problem. Tony even gave me a printout of the manufacturer notice to take to the dealership. I was taken aback and right there, Gary's Automotive gained a customer for life. It's very rare that you find an automotive shop with high character. That's customer service. That's integrity. That's who I want to do business with. If you need service for your vehicle, please go here because as Tony told me (and I experienced), they may not always have the lowest price, but they do great work and they'll be completely honest with you.

Very friendly and professional! Explained everything thoroughly and no tricks or taking advantage of lack of car knowledge. Great communication keeping you up to date on what is happening with your vehicle and presenting all your options to see what works best for you. Would definitely recommend and will be returning ! I've been using Gary's for many years, and have always found them to be honest and fair. They do good work and have excellent communication. I recently brought in my car to deal with a flat (nail in my tire). The mechanic noticed an oil drip while I was there, and determined it was from a defective oil filter that they had installed a few weeks prior. He replaced the filter and went ahead and changed the oil again at no cost.

I've been using Gary's for a few years before moving south. I like their professionalism, honesty and the good work they do. Besides the mechanic I would also like to give credit to Tony who is excellent with communication. Recently when I came up north visiting family and friends in Laurel area, Gary’s Automotive is the only place I would want to ask if it’s at all possible to fix my headlight that went out and change oil. They were already booked that day but I was able to leave my car there for the day just in case there is a cancelation. I’m so thankful that the mechanics noticed other needs attending like my brake pad, etc and that all work was done the next day. I wish there is another service like them where I moved to.

From the front desk to the automotive technicians, everyone I've dealt with at Gary's are extremely professional, kind, and trustworthy. I've taken my car here for all it's issues the last two years and have zero complaints (which is rare for me). Gary's definitely deserves its high rating!

I have been looking for an honest and reliable vehicle care center for a while. I visited this location 2 times, and finally made an appointment. I wanted to speak to the people and get a proper feel for how they operate. I scheduled my service with TONY (who is professional and fantastic). He explained everything and sent text message information and appt. reminders. He also allowed me to look at the shop and speak to the ASE mechanics. The service provided by Gary (JR) was outstanding. His care and attention to detail was excellent, and he was very careful as to not place tools where they can scratch anything, and treated my vehicle like his own. I want to thank them for outanding service and customer communications! I will spread the word!

Gary's Automotive was impressive. They are good with communication. Tony was friendly and helpful - he carefully explained what happened with the car's alignment and how they rotated and balanced the tires. Did not charge for replacing wiper blades - charged only for blades. Very reasonable. Car rides much smoother. Wil go back. Thank you.

I have taken my car to Gary's a few times now and am very happy. They were recommended to me by a neighbor who has taken her cars here for many years and what a great recommendation! These are great people who will get your car done efficiently. They do an excellent job of updating you about what they find while your car is there, they are very transparent about cost and even give a heads up about things that might need to be fixed in the near future. I highly recommend!

Refreshing to find a facility that appreciates the customer, very thorough when they speak with you and are always glad to see you. Wish I would have found them many years ago, would have saved a lot of money and headaches. The owner of 3 vehicles that are 20 years old, my third visit and no problems. They do great work and are a wonderful business to support and have been this way for decades.

I came in with my A/C blowing warm air. I thought it might be my compressor & they eventually told me to replace my compressor with some supporting parts. After a few days I got my car back and my A/C worked for a few weeks before my issue came back. Afterwards I tackled the issue myself, replaced a relay in my control box & resolved the issue. Now I'm out $2000 for a $20 fix because the shop replaced everything instead of running a proper diagnostic. I also did not like that I had to drop my car off for several days before they looked at it & would've preferred to be present to ask for a run down on what the mechanic found. The area is also very sketchy & I did not feel safe when picking up my car after hours from in front of the shop. There was a large crowd of hood people surrounding the parked cars in front of the shop, but luckily I parked my car next door at the hotel after asking permission because of the shops hours and pick up policies.

I didn’t know Gary’s was right in my neighborhood on Braygreen until 2 years ago. Wish I'd found it sooner. Never have had a problem. Very conscientious. Not only patient with my questions, but enthusiastic. Highly recommend them.

I had been doing some research of reputable auto centers in my area for several months and came across Gary's Automotive. After reading some reviews, I decided to give them a try. Scheduling was easy and convenient as I was able to make an appointment online. After making my appointment, a service rep called me to go over the details of the items I needed repaired. The service rep was very professional and knowledgeable and listened while I talked. He didn't jump to any conclusions. I dropped my car off as scheduled and a couple of hours later I was called by the shop to go over the needed repairs. As it turned out, I didn't need as much work as I had expected. I gave the go ahead to make the needed repairs and my car was ready the same afternoon. I thought that prices were reasonable for the work that was performed. I will definitely use this shop in the future.

Where do I start? This was my first time at Gary's Automotive and the level of customer service received was exceptional. I never felt like they were trying to upcharge me at all unlike my experiences at the dealership. I'm so glad I got a second opinion and I will only bring my car here for maintenance.

Awesome customer service! Staff were both friendly and professional, and I received regular updates throughout the day while my car was being worked on. The repairs my car needed were also performed quickly and at a reasonable price. Would definitely recommend!
