    I went last month to have the car serviced and while I am used to the dealership's offer of additional services, what I wasn't expecting was to catch them in a straight-out lie. In the highlighted circle, I was told my serpentine belt was found to have excessive wear, cracks, and even a chunk, but clearly, from the attached picture, that is not so. This was only discovered when I changed my belt. I am disappointed in the service department, especially since I bought two vehicles from here. This absolutely could cause some to question the integrity of the business.

    Went in for some tire noise since I purchased a full set in January 2021. Got a call back that my car was done, and Jeff advised that my tires were choppy and that I needed ANOTHER full set and that I needed to make sure I was doing my alignments. I told him that I purchased my tires through them, with an alignment and he said that there was nothing he could do and that he could do an alignment for $100. I said there is no point to do an alignment if I need a full set of tires. I told him that these tires should have a warranty and he said Hendrick wouldn't be able to do anything. I went home and called Goodyear and they said the tires are under warranty and sent me to one of their tire stores since Hendrick didn't want to do anything. I went there and was told that the tires had some defects (issues) and was going to do a warranty claim. The only thing they needed was a receipt for the tires. I went and searched for the receipt and found it. What I also found on that receipt was a statement from Hendrick that said if the tires have any issues, I could come back to them for a replacement tire. I called Hendrick back and spoke to Cody, and advised him that I had the receipt and that they need to replace all tires, that THEY said was bad. Cody argued with me and said he wasn't going to give me a set of tires. I explained to him that I had a receipt saying that they would, and he offered me an oil change! I told him no to the oil change, and that they needed to do what they said on the receipt. He said he would call back in 15-20 minutes. I never heard back from him. Its been a week. So, beware of Hendrick service department and keep receipts for large purchases. PS. Hendrick replied with a generic response. Please feel out who you want me to contact, instead of Manager First, Last, Phone number. That would help. I already spoke to Cody and left message for Chad. So, who else! ***UPDATE **** Just was told I was "fired" from going to this dealership! Sad that companies don't want to have anyone question there business tactics.

    I had another great experience with Hendrick Toyota. Even though it's a 2 hr drive north or south to visit a Hendrick dealership, they've always exceed my expectation of service (much more so than my local dealer). My salesperson, Gabe, listened carefully and understood what I was looking for and followed up consistently to keep me informed on my options. It did take some time to find the vehicle I was in search of but Gabe was instrumental in making this sale and I cannot thank him enough for his honest efforts and clear communication.     All of my friends kept telling me to go online to purchase a new vehicle but I wanted to test a car out in person. I went to Hendricks Toyotas website and was instantly greeted and talked to by a rep. I told them the vehicle I was looking for and we ended up schedule an appointment. My contacts name is Nick Winn and he is absolutely amazing. He was able to see me 2 hours earlier and let me test drive all the trucks I wanted. Long story short Nick and his team had great customer service. They were very easy to communicate with. And I was able to leave the same day with the truck I’ve always wanted. Thank you times a million! My life is forever changed lol

    My wife has purchased 4 Toyotas from Hendrick Toyota over the course of 9 years and I’ve purchased 1. The reason she/we keep going back is because of their customer service, friendliness, positivity, knowledge and personalities. Everyone there has the ability to make it happen no matter what! Funny story, we’re moving to Hawaii in a week & we decided to purchase a vehicle FIRST before flying out simply because of our relationship with Robert Bob Bayruns and Torey Lunsk! Listen, these men are PHENOMENAL! They ARE GREAT at what they do! Speaking from experience, visit Bob for your car buying needs! He was able to go above and beyond to find my wife the car she wanted down to every single specifics!! Thanks again Bob & Torey, you both make life with this car buying process that much easier!! Continue to do great work guys!!

    I went to Hendrick’s for a better car. I met Jason Wright who was the most helpful and knowledgeable car salesman I have ever met. He showed me a car that was reliable and in my budget. The entire process I didn’t feel haggled or pressured into making a deal. Jason Wright is fair and shows you exactly what’s available for YOUR needs. He was amazing and if you need a car I recommend Hendricks but more importantly I recommend salesman Jason Wright! He’ll get you the best bang for your buck

    I had an excellent experience! Jason listened to what I was looking for and had several options available for me to look at when I arrived. He has a great personality with an awesome sense of humor that helped my husband and I immediately connect with him. Torey made sure we had all the information we needed before we even entered the finance office. Jordan was professional and efficient in the finance office. They made an experience I usually dread easy and fun.

    I am so glad that I decided to check Hendrick Toyota's website when in need of a new SUV. We checked a few other places with little luck or not so great service. My husband went to look at the car we found while I was at work, dealing with Michael Graham. I headed over that afternoon, met Michael and we all completed the process. Michael was kind, funny, and worked the deal that we were looking for! They have a great assortment of used cars, and I love the Santa Fe Sport we got from them. Solid, professional service from sales to financing.

    My experience at Hendrick Toyota of North Charleston was great! Parker was an excellent salesman. He was friendly and confident, and knew the business. Some dealerships you go to they're not trying to hear what you really want or trying to work with you. That was not Hendrick Toyota of North Charleston. They were not going to let me walk away without a new car and I'm so excited and happy with my purchase. Much thanks to Parker and Hendrick Toyota of North Charleston.

    Great customer service! Hands down to Shulton. He really does a great job caring for his customers. He was there the entire process from showing till closing the deal. He was very professional, patient and knowledgeable. He was able to show me what cars were in the lot to make sure we are getting a good deal and happy. He is very easy to work with. He's on top of things and kept me informed on everything going on. I can tell he's been doing this for a while. I felt he cared about making a good decision and it's just not about the commission or sales. Thank you so much for helping us to make car purchasing stress free and easy.     My intentions while visiting the dealership for the first time was to find a 4Runner in at least a TRD Off Road Premium trim - when we arrived we were greeted pretty promptly (even though we tried to hide a little bit) by Billy. He was genuine, kind, open and most of all, not pushy. He catered to our needs and bent over backwards while we asked if the dealership had any more 4Runners or Tundras arriving before test driving a 4runner. He mentioned they may be getting more of them in on the next trailer and mentioned there was a tundra parked on the other lot that may be available. We went to test drive the 4runner and saw it!! I Immediately called Billy and asked if we could get the keys to Tundra. We test drove a Lunar Rock SR5 and loved the absolute s*** out of it. It was beautiful. However, we felt it was missing quite a few quality of life aspects. Billy sat us down and we combed through the entire inventory - just for us to stumble on the great TRD Pro Tundra parked on the side that had a sticker on it. He mentioned it may be available and that’s how everything evolved into me driving away in a new car. Spec’d out to perfection and flat out, gorgeous. Billy was so outrageously patient, open, transparent and it was undoubtedly the most pleasant purchase experience I’ve EVER had while buying a vehicle. ALSO. Patrick, thank you to you as well. Those two absolutely made the entire process, amazing.

    Had an absolute incredible experience buying my truck at Hendrick Toyota. I’ve bought many cars in my life, and this was by far my best experience. The reason it was such an awesome experience is because of Rena Halseth. She was so genuine, nice, funny, and dedicated towards making sure I got the best deal on my dream truck. She made it enjoyable and not stressful. I drove away with the most beautiful Tundra on the lot. Thank you to Rena, and Hendrick Toyota for giving me such a great experience and my dream truck.

    Jason was an awesome CSR. He was very informative, letting me know what was going on with my car. I also was able to get a loaner car while mine was in the shop. And the service tech was great. He took time to make sure everything was fixed and running properly. This was a very good experience with an awesome service department. They have my business from now on.

    Second time I’ve gone to Barry to buy a car, he is super helpful and friendly. He doesn’t just try to sell you a car, his goal is to give you the best deal and help you through whatever situation you walk in with. Jason Wright and Barry Braman are very personable and just all around great people to do business with. I wish I could give the 10 stars!!!!

    Rob was great as a salesperson. Sadly, they didn't have much on the lot due to the chip shortage but he was able to tell us what was coming in within the month. No "covid/chip premiums" added either. The dealer installed options they put on all cars make sense as well (tinted front windows and paint protection) whereas other dealers charge for wheel locks, pinstripe and nitrogen for the tires. Also be sure to check their website for a $25 visa gift card

He answered all my questions very promptly, even on the off hours.     I had been searching for a new RAV4 limited for a long time with VERY specific specs. As soon as my dream car was allocated Nick Winn called me and told me one was on the way. I was so excited. The entire process was easy and professional. I have been in the vehicle sales industry my entire life and I can tell you that with first hand experience their operations are top notch.     I purchased a 2022 Rav4 Hybrid from Denny this past Sunday. He was more than helpful. I started looking for a new car about a month ago and I reached out to Rick Hendrick because they were the only ones in three states that appeared to be getting in inventory. Denny took my information and called me when he knew he was getting a car that fit all of my requests. He called me on a Wednesday and I had the car within two weeks. I drove from Columbia to Charleston to pick up the car and the process from start to finish was quick and without any issues. I have dealt with dealerships all over South Carolina, Nevada and Arizona and Denny is the first person who I didn't feel like was just out to sell me things I didn't want or need. He was 100% honest from the start. I always wanted a Hybrid and he took the time to talk to me about the differences and whether or not I would really need a Hybrid. I ultimately bought the Hybrid. They gave me top dollar on my trade in. I will definitely be sending people to Denny.

    I would encourage you to look elsewhere for a vehicle and service. I bought a pre-owned vehicle from them a week ago, which I still have yet to actually have in my possession. While I signed the papers on Thursday, I was told I’d be able to get the car the next day. But by the end of the day on Friday, I hadn’t heard a word. I called the sales manager and explained that I had to make arrangements to have A CAR TO DRIVE, and he said they’d give me a loaner, but that the work wasn’t quite done. What work? I couldn’t get anything specific and the salesman who had closed the sale was unavailable. Saturday then came and went as well without an update or explanation. Monday morning, I got a text message from the salesman that they were waiting on a serpentine belt to come in and that he would update me at 9 am today. 9 am today of course came and went, so at 3:20pm, I sent him a message from my desk asking for an update. I still have not been told what exactly, besides a serpentine belt, is being repaired, or when to expect that I will have my car, only that he will update me tomorrow. I hate the run- around, and all I ask for is open and timely communication about what I should expect regarding MY VEHICLE. What’s being done? When will I have it? These should not be difficult questions to answer. I lament that the level of customer service I have received is sub- standard, and left me with very little faith in them

    Just got my Tundra serviced with Lauren and it is always a pleasure getting my vehicles serviced. On-time for appointments, punctual to let me know when my vehicle is ready and as with any other dealer they will let you know what is found on the multi-point inspection that should be required and or recommended but is not so pushy on it either. I.E. cabin air filter. Will continue to get all my vehicles serviced with her because of the great attitude and knowledge she has on the products!

    Great service. I booked online for warranty service. Josh Marshall was friendly and efficient. He explained what the service would entail and how long it would take, and sure enough, my car was ready earlier than they said. The waiting area was comfortable and clean. Highly recommend.

    Charlene and Adam were amazing. They got me the perfect car the one I wanted and the price and rate were spot on and I wasn't held captive all day. I was in and out in no time.....greatest car experience.... So I had my first service today and it was amazing I went in had my appointment at 9:00 got there at 10 minutes till 9:00 they came out got me registered I went to their little cafe and before I could eat a little small breakfast my car was completed. Josh was amazing I asked him one question and he got me my answers and fixed anything any concerns that I had. This place is amazing I was treated like I was important and their Cafe the Sequoia was delicious. They also had different types of coffee all choices and all sizes. I highly recommend buying any kind of car or vehicle that you may need at Hendrick Toyota of Charleston these guys are amazing.
