Really beautiful water features and landscaping. There are restaurants nearby and the $1 train that descends to the street below.

Great place to eat lunch or come listen to music in the summer.

I work in one of the glass towers that sandwich this little oasis. During the summer evenings they usually have free music that you can enjoy with the family or while waiting for your UBER driver. Lots of great places to sit and enjoy the views. (There’s actually a secret spot that I’ll share with you where you get a great view of the Arts district skyline - you know, that park that Joseph Gordon-Levitt viewed from his movie 500 Days of Summer? Same view but higher. And no piss smells. Just head towards the back where the stair tower is to the deck level. It’s the one by Panda Express. Go all the way to the top and voila-Instagram time!) Only downside for this area is that all the merchants close by 4:00pm during the work week. I can’t imagine how dead this place would be on the weekends.

The number of restaurants is growing. Plenty of outdoor seating. Music on Fridays.

I was touring Downtown Los Angeles and stopped by the Water Court. It’s nice with a few local eateries. There are tables with umbrellas and chairs to enjoy a good lunch by the water. The water front has bleacher like seats and a stage to enjoy a late-night show. I haven’t gone to the concerts or shows but the stage is set up to allow for that opportunity. There is a second floor with more places to eat. The Angels’ Flight is nearby to give you a ride down to the Grand Central Market and back up to enjoy your food by the water. It’s a nice relaxing place to enjoy the view.

The Cal Plaza Water Court is just across the street from the building I work at in downtown LA. As a subway rider I go through the Water Court every work day on my way to and from the office. The space is open with clean sight lines looking down toward the historic core of the city. Great food vendors and outdoor seating make this an excellent place for lunch or just a quick stroll to clear my head.

Anchored by Panda Express near the main water court and Mendecino Farms and Corner Bakery closer to MOCA, this food court offers a great selection of eateries for those who work or live nearby. If you visit the Broad or MOCA, this place has affordable eats for the budget conscious visitor. There's a great liquor store near Mendecino Farms for those looking for fine wine, bear and spirits.

Nice spot to have lunch, catch a concert, or just enjoy the weather. I do miss the water fountain though. I used to love watching it dance to music as a kid.

I stumbled into this mall walking through downtown. I seem to remember coming here years ago and it looks like it has been heavily updated. It features lots of great lunch spots and lots of places to places to take care of errands like a post office and Amazon lockers! The fountain was done up nicely for Christmas.
