Lies and deception abound! NC opened up this week for retail sales, National Pawn has a HUGE sign on Glenwood Avenue saying "Retail is Back". This is a large store and I wanted to see what they had available. I'd been hitting the smaller Picasso Pawns and not been impressed. After doing a U-turn to get there, I'm told it's not really true. They are doing curbside pickups and loans on your stuff. NOT RETAIL! It may be petty, but false advertising is false advertising.

My mom and I went in looking for an engagement ring and our experience was great! We worked with Fernando and he took his time and found rings that we didn’t even know we would like! Was easy to joke with, while also finding us beautiful options. Highly recommend.

After reading all the positive reviews, I went out of my way to come to this facility and was very disappointed. It is small with limited selection so it didn't take long to walk around and see they didn't offer coins for resale. This would not be relevant if it wasn't for the fact I was there to shop and sell some coins I had and was talked to like I ( a long term ANA member) didn't know the value of what I was offering. He said(who I assume was the manager) he was a coin collector and knew about coins even though NONE were in the store 😂 Thank God they didn't pop the coin case like they wanted to because I was able to take it to another place and get my full asking price for a rare mintage, high quality West point mint proof! Just don't take your coins there, they have no clue because the silver value alone was right at my low end of what I was asking and they didn't even want to offer that nor research to see they could have 2x the asking price in resale at the lowest possible point of resale 🤷🏼‍♂️ narcissism and ego get you nowhere my friend fix it!

lack of communication. I called about a camera I seen on their Facebook and spoke to Patrick as it said in the post. He took my name and number and I explained that I’ll be there by noon because I live an hour away. From the conversation, I perceived as if he was going to hold it until I got there because he asked me what time did I think I was going to be there. No later than noon as I explained. I called as soon as the store opened. I get there before noon as I explained, and was told the camera was gone after I drove an hour in the pouring down rain. Don’t care that the camera was gone. I was just upset at the fact that there was no communication after I gave my name and number.. within two hours from the first phone call to me arriving I figured if someone came and got it, someone would’ve communicated that with me rather than waste my time. This is my first time coming to the pawnshop, and I was quite disappointed.

I just left this location and was extremely pleased with the service. I came to sell some old gold jewelry, which was a first time experience for me. Darius helped me during my visit and was kind enough to knowledgeably answer the questions I had about the tests he was performing on the jewelry I brought in. This location is clean, calm, professional, and efficient. I'd definitely recommend coming here for service.

Went in today to sell an iPad and had a great experience. Eric helped me and was personable, humorous, and friendly. We were able to agree on a good price as I had realistic expectations. His manager Garrett was also great and these two are model employees. Eric was also honest when asked if another item I wanted to sell would be better there or elsewhere that I had already checked out. Definitely the best customer service and will be back if I have something else or maybe even to buy.

Today I went in and tried to sell my Gucci watch and one of the men there told me he would buy it for around 20$.. that is absolutely ridiculous no matter what it is a Gucci watch which I should be able to get at least 100$ for if not more it had a little wear n tear but I know it’s worth a lot more than 20$ this place is a joke I’ve never had issues w pawn shops before besides this one I won’t be returning attached is the watch I tried to sell. Absolutely ridiculous

I had a great experience at national pawn on fleetwood dr today. I had the pleasure of being waited on by Eric who is very knowledgeable on just about every aspect of the pawn industry. There wasn't a single question that he could not answer. Eric makes a great ambassador for the company. I will most definitely return.

Don’t do business with this store I spend 1500 dollars ,plus put a 650.00 new x box game on lay way an the owner wouldn’t give my wife a 15$ deal on a speaker she wanted . Didn’t respect the customers!!!!!

I stopped in on my way to Lowes to buy a drill. I ended up getting one, if new, would have been out of my price range. Really happy with my purchase.

As far as pawn shops go, this is probably the best one I've ever been to. The store is clean and it doesn't smell. The items are clean. The prices are very reasonable. I've been to a couple other National Pawn shops and this one is by far the best. I did have a hard time getting waited on the last time I visited, but then I met Saidy, and she took care of me. She gave me a good deal on some video games and was super nice! I highly recommend that you go see her.
