Went to Lydia's to get my suit for my wedding tailored. Saw the great reviews online and thought I'd check the place out. Lydia did such a phenomenal job on my suit it literally fits me better than any other piece of clothing I own and she definitely knows her trade. My daughter’s Semi Formal dress needed to be taken in and the slit in the front shortened. I googled “alterations near me” and Lydia’s website popped up. I called her to make an appointment for alterations and she told me just stop in anytime and she’d be glad to help me. My daughter and I went first thing on a Saturday morning and we’re greeted very pleasantly by Lydia. She went to work quickly knowing exactly what was needed before I could even say it. Lydia had my daughter’s dress pinned up and ready for sewing in less than 5 minutes. Like I said, that was a Saturday and the dress was ready for pick up the very next Thursday. The dress fit PERFECT! Thank you Lydia for being so sweet and doing such an amazing job.

Lydia does great work at an extremely fair price. She will always do her best to accommodate the timeline request of the customer. She helped me in a pinch before a wedding. She stays fairly busy but that just speaks to the quality and demand of her work.

I took my wedding dress here to get my very beaded and detailed straps shortened because they were too long for me. Lydia did a fabulous Job and made the dress fit me like a glove. She also did it very quickly. So happy with her service and will be coming back!

Very rude, went in during their business hours today 11/03/22 at 10:10am , a guy came out and asked if i needed something done, i said yes and then the scratched the back of his neck and made a face as if I was doing something wrong or if this was bothering him, then he said “ok I guess that’s fine” so I decided to leave and take my business somewhere else.

I have utilized Lydia's services for 15years. I highly recommend her work, attention to detail, & dedication. I recommend her to anyone.

Lydia is absolutely amazing! I called at 5:14 needed pants hemmed for a funeral the next day and she had me in and out by 6:00. My pants are perfect. I'm truly grateful.

$170 alterations for my bridesmaid dress. I've had alterations for the same type of dress before for less than half that price... Always know that the shoulders need to be tightened and length needs to be shorter. Paid more for alterations than the dress unfortunately. Not the type to walk out when hearing the cost (as I'm standing in front of her pinned up). I supported small business but won't be coming back as I feel like was really over charged. Can't imagine what my wedding dress will cost as it's more complex material. When i picked up the bridesmaid dress, the shoulders were WAY too tight than originally pinned for. Was able to get loosened based on her alteration work, but left rips in the material. Hope this helps others in their decision.

First time altering any piece of clothing. Lydia is so sweet! Have yet picked up my pants that I needed altered but I already know she will do a spectacular job. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes! Please note, although she accepts various forms of payment, she prefers cash for small payments. ☺️

Lydia is amazing! We bought my son’s tuxedo for prom. He loved the jacket, the pants the day of stressed him out as they weren’t fitting the way he wanted them to. He needed them tapered towards the ankle. Really, you waited until the DAY OF to figure this out!?! Lydia had SO much going on, she took one look at my son’s face and squeezed him in. He tried on the pants and never had to say a word, she knew exactly what needed to be done and got it done. I don’t know anyone who wasn’t a blood relative who would call one of their other clients asking for a little more time to squeeze in a very sweet procrastinating boy. My son hugged her so tight. Now we used her with WAY MORE lead time. There’s nothing she can’t do!

I don’t ever do reviews, but here I am three prom dresses and a bridesmaids dress later. I’m so happy with all of the amazing work she’s done on my dresses. She’s gotten all of them done in a timely manner, for a good price and has always been so friendly and helpful. The environment is very welcoming and everyone in there is always so kind and ready to build up your confidence. I have recommended her to all of my friends and I will continue to use her for any alterations I need done. I 100% recommend that you use her!

I brought my wedding dress into Lydia’s shop after I paid $$$$$$ to have it altered. She made my dress absolutely perfect! She listened to every single detail and altered my dress to perfection. Lydia is a very skilled tailor and I recommend her 100%!!!!!

Miss Lydia is amazing. I brought her a dress that I wanted to completely change the neckline on and she was able to deliver for me! I originally asked for something that we weren’t sure would work out structure-wise with the dress, but she made certain to do what I first asked so we could try it together before she suggested to add a strap. She worked so quickly on adding the straps for me and it fit like a glove by the time she was done! She is so sweet and kind and her work is phenomenal! Lydia repaired moth holes in cashmere and a repaired a hole in a sleeve/dress. So perfectly, you cannot tell there was a hole! She is very talented!!
