As a combat veteran, I'm sure many resonate with the feeling of not wanting to deal with the VA due to the staff and usually feeling of not feeling important or heard. We have a hard enough time fighting the invisible battles that we know some have lost to. My recent experience is an example of why I have no faith in the system. Do NOT recommend doctor "Tia Moore". I showed up an hour early and she was 15 min late. IN THE FIRST 5 MIN: I tried to notify her of the 2 conditions I was being seen for and she rudely cut me off, saying that I'm only here for one. And she doesn't want to hear about the other. After 10 minutes of her asking the standard questions, she sent me on my way with no additional input or concern. 30 minutes after I left, she called back saying that I had another appointment or issue for her to evaluate. Overall: VERY unprofessional and unpleasant experience. Only gave 2 stars due to the facility and scheduling process being stress free. As well as the follow-up call.

I just finished my compensation evaluation with Dr. Anne Goodnow and I felt a connection with her and she actually cared and listened to me. I've never seen someone so passionate towards a stranger. I needed someone to talk to and she was there. I'm so thankful.

They have had a new VA Secretary for almost a year and half. There is still a blank portrait / photo frame at this VA Clinic. Might seem like a small detail to some people. However it a very large frame. I think it is a clear sign of how poorly this place is managed. I've only been here for a few months and am already having to ask AGAIN for a 3rd provider. Once again I've been let down and am severely disappointed. Provider out right told me she would help fill out a form for me. Mind you it's a requirement she fill out this form. As per the Veterans Benefits Administration office and management I spoke with there. She is my assigned provider. Level of care has been pretty dismal and have had to been way too persistent to try and get them to just barely do their jobs. One of the MSA'S got loud with me and defensive and told me how great this Doctor is and that if she said she is or was going to do something she would do it. Not really. Nothing good be further from the truth. Just more indefinite delays. Lots of toxic air freshener in the offices. Another VA failure, yet again. ,

Seeing as how I can NEVER get anyone on the phone, and NO ONE to call me back... I'd give you a negative start if I could. I guess they want my dad to die before I can get him help, smh. If anyone reads these, have your people go to their offices and answer their calls!

My 1st time here but looked to be in a state of remodeling. Everything was was clean & organized with exception of broken elevator that just had light out but door still open- no signage or caution tape to affect.

When we arrived my husband was given his paperwork to fill out, was seen immediately, the doctor took her time checking his hearing. We were in & out rather quickly. It's nice how they schedule patients. No other one was in the waiting room while we were. You do need a mask regardless that you have a vaccine.

Came here for a comp and pen examination for benefits increase and tge doctor who saw me me was very unpleasant and unprofessional they wanted me to a range of motion test I nearly fell twice I use devices to help me walk and she never asked me if I was OK or offered to help me in anyway she was just mad that my mask moved when I started to fall she being to say that I was being unreasonable I'm like lady I can't walk with out assistance she treated me like I was nothing she didn't ask me any questions about my health and wouldn't let me talk or to explain on how my daily life is and how my injuries got worse I wouldn't recommend going to see her find someone who is more professional and who cares about there job and patients and not just see u as a number of there check

Staff is very nice and respectful. Difficult to get follow up on things. Nursing staff & doctor cancelled an appointment without speaking to us as they saw no reason for the appointment. However there were things that we needed to discuss with the doctor. Now the next appointment is not until 6 months later. Continuity of care is poor.

Sent here from Huntsville AL (not sure why they didn’t send me to the Huntsville VA this time). Gotta say, the staff were much friendlier here than any other VA clinic I’ve been to.
