👍👍 The work they are doing is incredible! They go in depth on the history of the trains and round house. The technical information during the tour is outstanding. The volunteers are great at interacting with large groups and one on one. It is truly a great time! People often mention history,

Great place to learn some history about the railway. You get to ride on a train during the tour of the facility and see how they're restoring it. Nice little gift shop at the end. The walk way is some blacktop and the rest is some travel and dirt. I took my son and he had a great time. Definitely, going back again.

Went to the open house to see around the facility. Glad to see the hard work of so many to preserve history in the local area. The two men that lead our tour were full of information on the history of the trains and railway cars they had on site. We learned a lot about the regulations on restoring these steam engines to get them to run again for all to enjoy. We are both looking forward to return sometime on a workday to help and learn more.

Thought it was really cool that this hidden gem in our city is doing its best to get the word out to the public that they are there and still somewhat operating! Their staff really knows their stuff when it comes to trains and you can see they are very passionate !

Had a wonderful guided tour with Charley, One Eyed Jack and Earl. An amazing experience I won't forget! They are very passionate about what they do at the roundhouse, and took the time to explain the history of the trains and carriages, with plenty of anecdotes and ghost stories!

Always wanted to see their area and we went today. Very interesting and the guides had all the information you'll want answers for. Brought back memories of my Dad and I watching these steamers in the 50's as diesels were coming on line. Thanks Dad and thank you for preserving, restoring and presenting the history of these magnificent engines and cars.

Since I have been volunteering there, I'm biased. There are two HUGE steam engines undergoing inspections of the boilers, and total refurbishment of the whole engine. We have just finished refurbishment of the rail car AMERICA. America was the railcar John Kennedy used to "stump" for his first campaign. We brought the car and it's systems up to the latest requirements for Amtrack (use at over 100 MPH)

It was informative and something to do w son. Was organized very scattered w train a then blown glass ( very neat to watch, just unsure where it fit) and the VERY short train ride. We were all disappointed, was just under the impression of it being so much more. And the asking of donations repeatedly felt a little awkward.
