Mike was fantastic to work with. He showed on time and knew right away what the issue was with our dryer. He returned when he said he would and made the repairs. Saved us a ton of $ by repairing our dryer rather having to buy a new one!

Our washing machine broke, just before a big trip where we needed to do countless loads of laundry. Prostar Appliance Service was recommended to me through a Facebook group. I contacted them and Mike was able to come out the same day to take a look. He diagnosed the problem and had to order a part for the fix. We'd planned for him to come back on Friday (with the ask that he comes sooner if able to), and were pleasantly surprised when he called on Thursday! He installed the new part and did some test runs with me to make sure everything worked. His prompt responses and help was invaluable, thanks Mike!

Its so hard to find someone that knows what they are doing, and Mike clearly has the experience in this field. He figured out my dishwasher problems quickly and pointed out what the issues were. I was expecting an out of town guest and was washing up a storm when my stackable w/d unit broke. My sister recommended her last repairman. Unfortunately, he didn’t do stackable units. I have hired Mike several times over the past 5 years. He has repaired my 30 year old GE oven (he rebuilt my control panel because there was no longer a replacement part and it has worked perfectly for the past 5 years since then). He repaired my 6 year old Kenmore refrigerator ice-maker by diagnosing the issue quickly and then ordering the correct parts. It was up and running within a day. Hooray! He repaired my 25 year old Maytag washing machine 2 years ago as well. It works like a charm now. Today he replaced 6 parts inside my Maytag dryer and got it working again as good as brand new (it's also 25 years old). Older appliances are better-made than newer ones (quality) and having a person like Mike to fix them sure gives me peace of mind. He is very professional and courteous. I don’t typically write reviews, but felt I had to share my great experience with Mike from Prostar Appliance. I have a 10 year old built-in fringe that started acting up a couple of weeks ago and finally went out last Friday. After some research found out that the problem could be the main board and KitchenAid no longer manufactures the board. I was so happy I found Mike locally in Orange County who was able to fix it the same day and for a very reasonable price! I was thrilled and highly recommend his services.

Just bought a new house in Irvine and needed to inspect and fix 4 kitchen appliances. 2 Dacor double wall ovens and 2 Gaggenau cooktops.
