Orion was a great guide! Really knowledgeable and we had a great paddle while looking at all things nature. No manatee today but still a great trip and the mangrove tunnels were great. Highly recommend this tour.

William was absolutely incredible! He was funny, laid back, and so knowledgeable. This was the highlight of the trip when it comes to adventures! Would highly recommend and recommend requesting William if you can!!

I signed up both of my boys who are 11 and 8. My 11 year old was not happy I signed him up for a camp during summer. But after the second day, he got in the car and told me he wanted to sign up next year with a big smile on his face. The coaches were awesome. They have so much fun with the kids and they really make it enjoyable for them. My kids will be going next summer. They had a blast.

SURFIT was easy to book and they led us on a great adventure. We booked online in only a few minutes. The directions provided via email were easy to use. Once the group was there we hit the water- it was so seem-less. A couple guys helped us onto the kayaks and into the water. Chris our tour guide was so friendly, knowledgeable and we even enjoyed his “dad” jokes. He made everyone feel comfortable and did a nice job moving the group along while keeping us on the lookout for wildlife. We saw several fish, dolphins and various shells. Would recommend it was a great little adventure!

What a fun experience! We had a great time kayaking the beautiful waters and mangrove tunnels. Our guide, John, was so knowledgeable and experienced with the water and wildlife and shared great stories of the area. Our kids loved the private beach and enjoyed swimming in the beautiful water to cool off. This was a highlight of our time in Siesta Key!

My sister and I had a wonderful experience on the Mangrove Kayak Tour with Kellie. We are so lucky to have been paired with him as he has so much experience and ensured that we all had the best experience. I learned so much about Manatees and how important Florida’s ecosystem is to our planet. Our group was also amazing. If you are looking for something fun to do out in nature, you should do this tour. I am excited to do this tour again sometime!

I had a wonderful time. I saw so many different species of birds. Our tour guide Chris, kept our group entertained the entire time with his vast knowledge of all of the wildlife we encountered on our trip. I would definitely do this again. Kayaking through the mangrove trails was definitely a memorable experience.

We woke up late and knew we would miss the 1pm tour. So I booked us the 3pm knowing it was going to be hot and probably crowded. Headed to the meeting point. So easy to get to. Found out it was just the 2 of us and our guide. Beyond excited for that. We seriously had the best time. It was like spending the day on the water with family. The amazing facts we learned. The entertaining conversations about old TV show etc. seeing manatees, birds, crabs, so many crabs. We could spend every tour on the water with Kelly. Can’t wait to get back and kayak the mangroves again. Couldn’t say enough wonderful things about Kelly and our time on the water.

What an incredible kayaking tour! Chris was a fantastic guide. So knowledgeable about the area and ecosystem - and just a fun guy! We loved the combination of open water and kayaking through the mangroves. No dolphin today but we were lucky enough to spot a few manatees! HIGHLY recommend!

The Mangrove kayak tour was awesome. Sawyer was a great tour guide. He was friendly, personable and informative. We saw many sea creatures, including some manatees! I would definitely go on this tour again. And Sawyer definitely needs a raise.

Had a great time with the family on our kayaking trip. Wanted to get the family out earlier but that didn’t happen so we had 12:15 scheduled. If we do it again it has to be earlier in July because it can get super hot out here. Over all great experience.

What a great way to spend a few hours! Kelly was our tour guide and he did not disappoint! He gave us a lesson on how to maneuver the kayaks before we got started and helped us through the mangroves. We saw lots of wildlife including a variety of birds, fish, crabs, and a manatee. Kelly shared some history and the importance of the mangroves as well. This is a must do tour!! Make sure to bring plenty of water, sunscreen, and your camera!

Our group had a great time. Our tour guide Chris was awesome. We saw manatees and dolphins, stopped at the beach and played in the water and then kayaked through the mangroves! Highly recommend these guys!!

What an amazing experience. We didn’t get to see any manatee but we got lucky and saw a dolphin instead. We had the best guide name Sawyer. He was very knowledgeable and even found different creatures we have never seen or hear of such as the upside down jelly fish. I definitely recommend.

We booked our tours online and when we showed up there was a glitch in the system and it didn’t transfer our reservation( group of 12 ). Chris was excellent to deal with. He helped us get it all figured out and then moved things around to be able to take our entire group on a tour. The trip was fantastic. Chris was very funny. Interacted with everyone in the group and shared tons of information with us. What could have been a nightmare ended up being a great adventure. Thank you Chris and Surf IT for the great time.

Cody was an awesome guide! Our family of 8 did 4 tandem kayaks, and we had a blast! He found us manatees, took us through beautiful mangroves & found upside down jellyfish, a dagger snail and starfish! He gave us a lot of great information and was so fun. We would definitely recommend and do again!!

We, as a family, really enjoyed kayaking through the mangrove tunnels. Our guide Joan was great, and very helpful. He was knowledgeable about the area and helped all the group members maneuver the tunnels. Kayaking through the mangroves is a must do for anyone visiting the area and I would highly recommend SURFIt. Water is very shallow so you don’t have know swimming.

Large family on guided tour of Lido Key with Sam as our tour guide. She was patient with kids and often doubled-back to help out the last of the group. Very informative with history of the area, mangrove tunnels, sea life, etc. We loved that she stopped to show us sea creatures (holding some in our hands) that had come in from the tide. Great at navigating us through the tunnels, even letting different members of the group lead at times. Wonderful day and amazing tour! The tunnels are marked with bouys if you are adventurous enough to go without the tour. Teens would love the freedom of exploring on their own, but given it was our first time, the tour was perfect. Absolutely recommend.

This tour was fantastic; our guide, Orion, was knowledgeable and funny. As a kayaker for a number of years, this tour was very beginner-friendly for the folks with me who were first timers. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants a relaxing, non-strenuous paddle that will teach them about the local ecological habitat and provide some incredible photo opportunities.

This was such a great experience!!!! If you think to take it or not- stop thinking and book the tour! Our guide was Jason. He was simply amazing!!! He made sure our group (11 people) enjoyed the tour and had fun! At the same time he insured we respected the nature. We got super lucky and got to see all of it in one tour: a mother dolphin taught her baby how to hunt fish. They came so close to our kayak!!! It was incredible to see them play in the wild instead of an aquarium. Completely different feeling of being part of the nature. Jason explained to us what the dolphins were doing and why. Then we got to the spot where we enjoyed the sleeping manatee occasionally swimming just a bit above the water to take the air. And finally we got to the mangroves! It was magical! We could see through the clear water the life happening beneath us. Lots and lots of jelly fish! We even stopped to hold them. My kids loved the tour so much that already requested to come again during our next vacation. Jason was providing us a lot of very interesting information about everything around us including the history of mangroves. Jason, if you read this- thank you !!! You are an awesome guide! Thank you for caring about the nature and teaching us to love and respect it too! See you next time!
