Holy Cow Batman, this place has everything you could ever want when it comes to Architectural salvage. The staff are pleasant, helpful and very knowledgeable. The prices are reasonable, the selection is extraordinary. If your looking for Antiques, Knick-knacks, Chandeliers, Clawfoot tubs, Signage, Furniture or want them to Custom Design furniture for you from repurposed materials,then this is the place bare-bones. Sarasota Architectural Salvage is one of my favorite salvage stores to go. They have a lot of salvage items, but they also have antiques and new items. They have a lot of salvage from the Sarasota area, but they also bring items in from around the state, out of state, and from other countries. They have items that you can use as is, or plenty of things to create youe own masterpiece. It is rare that I leave empty handed whenever I visit. It is close to downtown Sarasota. So, you can easily make an entire day of cisiting the area if you dont live close. This is what I typically do since I dont live in the area. I dont always visit the other places, but I always visit SAS when I am in the area.

I visited the store years ago and about two years ago, I went to find a store, and I heard it closed. However, I was happy to find out the store is open and has a great inventory! I found a couple great treasures and purchased one that, the store is holding for me until I return in about a month. Also, I was extremely happy with my online shopping at Sarasota Architectural Salvage!!!

A great place to take decorating and designing to the next level, whether a home, business, or landscape. A large selection of previously used doors, windows, chandeliers...many chandeliers, wall sconces, and a multitude of small and large decor items. The store takes pride in re-purposing construction materials, much it from local buildings and businesses. Constantly changing inventory and not afraid to stock the obscure. Nothing quite like it elsewhere. More than 10k square foot of fun.

Parts of SAS are just a hoarding situation that needs to be cleaned up. I absolutely love SAS but some of the quality of the items doesn't justify the big price tags most items have. Would definitely buy more & shop more if it were a bit cheaper and easier to navigate. Fantastic place for a statement piece or unusual item

If your looking for your unique 💎 gem this is certainly your place. Staff is thoroughly knowledgeable regarding all pieces in company’s inventory. I’ve never felt more confident in a local business when they take their time in helping create your DIY visions. I’ve had custom pieces made from their workshop off site and couldn’t be happier. When visiting Sarasota make sure to swing in for a stroll.

I have many treasures from SAS at my restored 1925 craftsman cottage. I always find something special and unique. Jesse and his knowledgeable staff are always ready to offer assistance when needed.

A great place to find that unique and interesting piece that you have always been looking for. Huge warehouse packed full, inventory changes often and there's always something 'new'... albeit recycled, upcycled and re-invented. Love this store!

We have purchased hundreds of square feet of salvaged flooring from them for our wood floor restoration company & always received top-notch service along with the beautiful wood. I liked to tag along to shop & always had to be dragged away from their beautiful wares by my poor husband.

This is a hidden GEM in Florida. The owner, Jesse is extremely knowledgable and passionate about his business. This store has some amazing pieces, perfect for those looking to add a unique piece to their home. Definitely will be back and will send clients to this wonderful business!

AMAZING! A HUGE variety of any salvage item you can think of. I have been here for almost 10 years and can’t believe I have been missing this all my life. The help was amazing and very accommodating. Sarasota Architectural Salvage is enchanting and charming. You never know what playful, gorgeous, mysterious treasures you will find! From hauntingly pretty stain glass, to fragile cut crystal tiles, mermaid sculptures, and Elvis bowls. It’s always so much fun to walk around until you fall in love! The shopkeepers are very kind and helpful. It’s the only store that is actually fun to walk around and look at all of the historical, exotic, and unexpected surprises. ❤️

It’s cute and artsy but many of the items are over priced in my opinion. But it’s nice to go in and gander around, you may find that one of a kind piece you’ve been looking for! It’s well organized and prices are clear to read. I wish they had a “junky” section where you could just dig around for a hidden treasure for a lower price.
