    Friendly reliable service. Great people. I leave with confidence my vehicle has been properly checked and is safe to drive. As a long distance commuter, the peace of mind is important.

    Pros: The process was quick, finance manager was awesome with a great sense of humor, very laid back group of people. Cons: I was a little disappointed. Called about the vehicle, asked if there’s anything wrong with it mechanical/cosmetic wise. Salesman proceeded to say nothing was wrong with it at all since it did only have about 2k miles on it. Drove 4 hours there to see that the car wasn’t detailed at all. There was a scuff on the right side of the bumper and a paint scraped off on the corner of the front right fog light cover. Felt like that was something that shouldve been addressed beforehand and if that couldve gotten fixed before the drive/purchase. Advise: Please take the time to look over a vehicle and provide your buyers with every detail. Especially if they’re driving a far distance to come purchase the vehicle Overall: It was a decent buying experience. Would’ve been better if the vehicle was detailed, scuff on front bumper buffed out, and fog light cover fixed upon arrival to purchase. *UPDATE** The Salesman I worked with reach out. Felt upset about my review. The conversation wasn’t professional at all. I’ve worked with many Salesman in the past and this is the first unpleasant experience I’ve ever had with a Salesman on the phone. Said that the car was detailed and the scuff on the front bumper and paint scrape on the fog lights wasn’t there when I got there. Proceeded to accuse me of putting those damages on the vehicle during my test drive. I saw those damages BEFORE the test drive. My test drive was less than 5 minutes, just driving down the road pass the traffic light and turned back to the dealership. Also, I brought these damages to his attention when I was there. He said the damages must’ve been done by other salesmen driving it. Don’t believe me? I even told the worker who put on my plates exactly what he told me which was the damages being there from other salesmen driving it. My review is based on what I saw and what I experience there. I have no reason to lie but to accuse me for the damages when I didn’t do it is crazy. I had a great experience with everyone there besides this salesman. I want to make this clear, anyone at this dealership are more than welcomed to contact me but this salesman. Thank you.

    We are very pleased with our buying experience at Pettijohn Auto Center. Robert was pleasant and knowledgeable and made our purchase quick and easy. We appreciate the fact that he was not pushy and tried to get the best deal for us. We would definitely recommend them for your vehicle purchase.

    We bought a car for our daughter and Hal and James were very helpful. They answered our questions and we never felt pressured or rushed. We are very happy with the Trax, we feel it fits everything we wanted for Addie. The experience was very easy and enjoyable.

    I was in the area from Nashville, Tennessee... Pettijohn took care of my ck engine light (oxygen sensor) in a timely manner. Very nice folks. They also diagnosed a window switch issue, but didn't have the part to repair and I didn't have the time to return. So, I paid for the diagnosis with no way to resolve at that visit. All in all, a positive experience.

    Easily the best car buying experience I've ever had! I really appreciated that this dealer wrapped all taxes/fees into the total price of the vehicle (making financing simple and transparent). After arranging financing ahead of time, I was in and out of the dealership with my new ride in under 20 minutes. Fantastic! Huge thanks to Larry and Hal -- these salesmen were very polite and helpful throughout the entire process!

    Scheduled an appointment a week ahead of time dropped it off. Told them what it was. They said it wouldn’t be till Thursday at 2 the next day…then I called Friday and it wasn’t until Friday at 2. I then came to the dealer to understand why there was a change and no one notified or communicated to me. What if I needed my truck by Friday? But the service manager stepped in and some sales reps to make sure it was taken care of and it was delivered to the property I was at. Just need better communication for changes that occur. It’s the principle of having an appointment and then it changes twice and not being told. But the service manager did a fantastic job. Ot was around deer season so I get people had time off or they were busy with other out of town people but they took care of it.

    Best car buying experience I’ve ever had! Larry called me on a car I had inquired about and I was able to make it up there. I drove and bought the car within 2 hours! Everything went smoothly and Larry was great to chat with!

    The work it’s self looks good. Although, they aren’t very good with time management or customer communication. They took twice as long as I was told originally, after waiting a full month for the parts and such to come in. They never did call me on the days that I was assured they would update me on the time of completion.

    They were very helpful when I pulled into the center 10 minutes before closing. I was an out-of-towner with a car that was new to me with a "low oil level-STOP ENGINE" warning. The tech checked it quickly- said the car could go no further. Kyle, service desk, was gracious enough to take me to a local restaurant, on his way home, where I waited for my daughter to come and get me. Kyle worked with the insurance company to get things covered because of my extended service contract. It took awhile to get the confirmation of coverage- for a total new engine and then waiting for the part to arrive. After the engine arrived, it was quickly put into my car. I was shocked to hear that my cost was more than double what I had been quoted. I had been told around $300- covering my deductible and parts that were not in extended warranty. To my surprise, the bill was $670. It would have been nice to be notified of that much of a difference prior to the day that I picked it up. Also as I was getting into the car, the engine was running and I heard a clicking noise from the front of the car. I went into the department and got Kyle to come listen. He could hear it also. He got the tech - who fixed it quickly- apparently the fan was hitting on something. A little nerve wracking when you are getting your car back (after waiting almost 7 weeks for it).

    Josh and the staff was very easy to work with. Common sense (which is more difficult to find nowadays) solutions were offered dealing with my vehicle and circumstances with getting parts. Appreciated how everything has been handle thus far. Josh also was able to get my second vehicle in and out quickly for a couple of recalls so I could get back to the daily routine, and not be left without a vehicle.     It's been 22 years since we last did business with Pettijohn's but it's like we're still family! As always, Hal had the vehicle we came to see parked up front and ready to go. Brad immediately took our car for a test drive and the bargaining began. This crew is fun to deal with and many laughs were had. Larry handled the financing and Eddie got the truck ready to go. In and out in less than 3 hours including paperwork. We cannot recommend another dealership that can match the experience (and we've dealt with many through the years!). Thanks for an amazing purchase!

    We were looking for a car because my daily driver was totaled by a coyote. We searched a lot and went to Pettijohn found a car that I couldn't let go, so they got us this car. It was a tedious process but all worked out in the end. Great customer service all across the board.

    Great experience, no pressure from sales people or finance people. Quick process, I think I was in and out of dealership in 30 minutes. The staff are all very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely come back here for next car purchase.

    One of the best experiences I’ve had with a car dealership in a long time. All of the staff was very friendly and did not try to take advantage of you in the car shortage times .There was no trying to overprice their vehicles.

    I was very happy with the service. Josh was very helpful (service advisor). I normally have my vehicles serviced at TriState in Maryville. They are also very efficient. They also give a veterans discount which you folks don't. This makes me more inclined to use them rather than you.

    I’ve only bought three cars in the last ten years and they have all been here. The staff here is the best I have ever been around. The sales manager Brad Bowman is top notch and just all around a good person and can answer any question you have. Larry,Hal,Jeremy,James and everybody else there treat you like a friend not just a car deal. The experience I have every time I’m in there is truly amazing. If you ever need any type of car I would suggest you go there they actually will help you instead of hassling you. In and out is how they do it with no pressure!!!

    Everyone was nice and wonderful to deal with. However there was no indication that they believed me when I told them what was going on with my vehicle and if they did the mechanic disregarded it and couldn’t discover what the problem was. Very disappointed and wont be back
