No child looks forward to a trip to the doctor's office, especially when it's cold and unwelcoming from the moment you walk through the door. Unengaging staff only make matters worse. I had been dreading this day and the tantrums that were sure to ensue while waiting forever in yet another typical doctor’s office. After all, my son is three; tantrums are just part of the daily routine right now. I sighed as I opened the door to Starz Pediatrics that morning in anticipation of the grueling hour ahead of me. To my surprise, we were greeted with warm smiles and an inviting atmosphere clearly designed to make a child feel safe and welcome. It even smelled good. These guys had thought of everything. A short time later, we were introduced to Dr. Z. My son warmed up to him right away, and they talked to one another like neighborhood friends. My wife and I asked him what I later determined to be way too many questions, and Dr. Z provided thoughtful answers to each of them without hesitation, even the ones my wife repeated. He made us feel like family. Above all, his exceptional passion for helping kids is arguably the best quality a pediatrician can possess. I never thought I’d have a hard time getting my son to leave a doctor’s office.

My daughter was seen as an urgent care patient on a Saturday and on a weekday evening. The hours just cannot be beat. Both times they saw her almost right away. The staff is friendly and they seem really happy and seem to enjoy their work. Dr. Mirza has great bedside manner. They even dispense antibiotics for urgent care visits if needed (so great to be able to skip the trip to the Pharmacy!). 10/10 recommend. We are so grateful to have this pediatrician office here in Estero.

I most say this doctor office goes above and beyond from same da appointment to amazing service. The Doctor is professional that really cares and provides the best service for your kids. The office has attentive and has very skilled individuals workings throughout the building. All welcomed my son and knew exactly how to get him to listen right away. Waiting room is extremely clean. By far the greatest Doctor, Staff and Practice around! Dr Mirza and his team took amazing care of my children and got us in and out in no time. The team was so professional, courteous and caring that the kids even enjoyed the visit. The facility is gorgeous, clean and even smells amazing - HUGE PLUS! As a mother of 4, I've had my share of experiences and this is by far the best of them all. I make the drive from Naples and it is well worth it. Highly recommend!

I traveled 30 minutes away from my home and I must say the drive was worth it. The staff was excellent! Doctor Miraz was awesome he took my son mind off of getting a shot by giving him a lollipop. He also paid very close attention to the details that were concerning me about my child, he got right on to making appointments with specialist, and every word was some relief too my stress. I had a fantastic experience at Starz Pediatrics. I was vacationing in Bonita Springs and needed an urgent care center for my son. Starz Pediatrics was nearby and far from your typical urgent care experience! They really made us feel at home and gave us quality care. Drove from Naples based on the reviews when my daughter had been running a high fever with a lot of other concerning symptoms but wanted to try and avoid an ER visit. So glad I did! Every single person we encountered at Starz was phenomenal, and so, so kind. With their help and diagnosis she’s on the mend. Will definitely be back in the future. Thank you!

I visited Starz Pediatrics with my 10-year-old daughter, who needed a sports physical. I knew this practice was different when I made a phone call to inquire about their services and was not rushed off the phone. On the day of our visit, every single person we encounterd was genuinely personable, professional, and concerned about offering high-quality patient care. Further, the office is beautifully appointed with murals and other artwork designed with young patients in mind. As I shared with Dr. Mirza, in all of the years that I've seen doctors or managed medical visits for my children, he is only the second doctor to ask if I had any questions and then actually SIT DOWN in anticipation of a conversation. It is not often that you find a practice so committed to quality and making patients feel like they matter. I think Starz Pediatrics deserves high praise and I'm so pleased to post this review. Your children are in capable, caring hands at this practice!

We are first time parents and are thrilled we found Starz pediatrics when we did ! We searching for great reviewed pediatricians and did not realized how much notice you need before delivery. Come to find no one would take us went into labor a little earlier and didn’t want to leave hospital selecting hospitalist ped. We came across Dr. Mirza & called from hospital he gladly had us seen two days after leaving hospital ! When arriving to our first visit with our new born there was a family leaving held the door saying “ don’t worry your going to love Dr. Mirza he’s amazing” made us happy we made a good decision ! It’s now been 6months and we absolutely love Starz pediatrics they get us in same day if we have concerns. Are patient with us and our little girl . And love the late hours and weekend apts ! We have done all our immunization and ear piercing with them and glad we have a good Dr and staff she can grow with (We drive from south Naples to Estero) for great care !

I love this office. The team is very personable and kind. Dr. Mirza is very good with children. We have 5 boys ranging from 1-11 yrs old and so far we have had all positive experiences. The wait times are short. They are very quick at getting forms completed for school /sports. This place is a gem and our family is blessed to have found them. Thank you Dr. Mirza and team.

Starz pediatrics is wonderful. Dr. Mirza and his staff are so kind and patient with my son. He is 4 and all over the place. Curious and into everything especially in a new place. We hadn’t had the best experience before at our previous doctor so this was very new for us. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a pediatrician . It is also extremely convenient for us to be able to come on Saturday or later in the day during the week. I am so grateful to have found Dr.Mirza. Amazing experience with Dr. Shahzaib Mirza. You can have same day appointment and his working hours are 8am to 8pm and 9am to 2pm on Saturday. He has a great personality and very attentive. They have lap collection and free candy and on-site x-ray. But it’s very sad for us to find such a great facility and doctor that won’t see our infant because we did not have immunisation shots at birth. And he was very apologetic about it and we would still love to use him if we could. I definitely recommend to everybody this office and doctor.

Pleasant experience. My 3 month old had cold symptoms and they were able to give me an appointment that very same day. Great staff and Dr. Mirza took his time with my son. He explained everything well and educated me on what to look out for which really set my mind at ease.100% would recommend taking your children there.

I highly recommend to take your kids there, I took my kids for their annual check up, as a new patient they fit us in the schedule within 24 hours. They have availability not like the other practice. The staff is super friendly, and Dr. Shahzaib Is amazing with kids. The clinic feels like a Spa & it’s very comfortable.

While visiting family in Estero my son became ill. Our family pediatrician recommended we bring him to a pediatric urgent care. I found Starz Pediatrics online and within a few minutes he had a morning appointment scheduled. The staff from beginning to end was exceptional. They addressed his needs and developed a thorough plan of care so we could continue to enjoy our vacation. I would definitely recommend Starz for all pediatric health needs!

I gave it 2 Stars because I was able to be seen in the office sooner than expected. Will I go back there? NOOO. My 6mths old had his check up done there. And there were no teaching whatsoever. Baby has eczema, he verbalized “I am gonna send a cream to his pharmacy “ I had to be the one asking him if it was a steroid then he just said yes. If you’re going to prescribe my baby a topical steroid, don’t you think some teaching is important? He did not ask nor educate me about his 6 moths milestones. Like the things he should be doing at 6 months. He did not do a thorough assessment on either one. I just moved here and I am looking for a doctor for my kids. His approach is more like an urgent care clinic. If you’re looking for a compassionate, knowledgeable pediatrician. HR IS NOT THE ONE. I do not recommend.

Visiting from out of state. Starz Pediatric was able to see my daughter who was complaining of a soar ear right away. Wait time was minimal. The PA and the Doctor were both thorough and excellent. Plus, Starz Pediatric was able to fill the prescription on site. No additional trips to a drug store!

We were seen immediately for a walk-in appointment for my sick 3-year-old. The front desk staff were very friendly. The clinic is new and clean with kid friendly decor. We received exceptional care from our nurse and doctor Mirza. I especially appreciated being able to fill some of his medications right at the clinic. Based on our experience, I would highly recommend Starz Pediatrics, especially for new patients doing walk-in urgent care.

Starz Pediatrics was great for ear piercing. Dr. Mirza pierced our daughter’s ears himself and was calm and gentle, walking us through everything. They put numbing cream on her ears before and it was an easy experience for our 5 year old. The office staff was very friendly and the office was very clean and welcoming.

We are in town from Chicago and our toddler quickly became sick. The Starz team was wonderful. We were able to make an appointment late in the day and they took great care of her and were very thorough. She needed to be transferred to the hospital and they handled everything seamlessly in a stressful time. I couldn’t recommend them more.

Excellent experience. I called Starz to make an appointment and they were able to fit me into their schedule same-day. We are from NY and visiting my mom here in FL, so I really appreciated the ease and ability to get my daughter care at the last minute. The facility was clean and staff was so friendly. They had antibiotics to give at checkout which saved me a trip to the pharmacy which was a total bonus. Would 100% recommend!

I switched my daughter from another pediatric office in Naples and I am so glad I did!! The drive is a bit far, but so worth it. The entire staff including Dr. Mirza are phenomenal. You can tell they really care about what they do, which seems to be rare these days. Additionally, the office is spotless and always smells fabulous. A welcome change from what we were experiencing in Naples. I feel confident knowing my daughter is under Dr. Mirza’s care. If you are questioning where to take your child for their pediatric care, look no further! DO IT.

Aside from Dr. Mirza, Lauren who is the primary receptionist at the practice is a huge reason why we love and go to Starz Pediatrics. Lauren always goes above and beyond in assisting us and giving us any information we may need. When we were a prospective client before our son was born she exceeded expectations in telling use which specific insurance plans they take. When he is sick she offers as much helpful information as she can over the phone along with what dosage of medicine is appropriate. She is incredibly considerate and patient. When they were short a medical assistant she delivered our vaccinations and was so incredibly quick and careful in the administration of them, it was over and band-aids were on before my son even fully registered what had happened (Lauren if you see this please always do our vaccinations for us haha, you're the best!!!). We could not be more grateful for the care and kindness of Lauren, she is a huge asset to the practice and sets the practice apart from others. Mr. Mirza impressed us on our first visit there with the time and attention he gave us. He is very understanding with first time parents and takes the time to answer any questions you may have and addresses any hesitations or concerns you may have in regards to your child's care. The attentiveness he gives to his patients seems rare to find these days. He has wonderful bedside manner and I trust his judgement. He does not try to create problems that are not there or send your child to a specialist unnecessarily. I trust his judgement and that he is an ethical, insightful, genuine practitioner. We are very grateful for our son to be under his care. There is a reason why this practice has many positive reviews. We love Starz Pediatrics and believe in the care that they offer and deliver.
