Beautiful assortment of beads and crystals! We live in Texas but heard from a local to check this spot out. Owner of shop super friendly and did not follow me around while I looked at merchandise. Will def come back again when we are in town

Broke my favorite bead bracelet. Jessica fixed it while I waited. Charge was $5! Fantastic! While waiting, I saw two new bracelets to purchase! I'm a wobbly senior who walks with a cane. I had a little trouble getting into the shop. So when I left, Jessica walked me to my car so I wouldn't fall! Who does that?

It is always a pleasure to visit at Rare Earth Beads. I have been coming here for years. It is always so clean and organized with the greatest selection of beads , findings, gems, tools and accessories and mostly, a wonderful, knowledgeable staff. And in, what I call my therapeutic bead box, I, and friends, have literally spent hours sifting thru a cornucopia of loose beads, which have been taken down and unstrung from their regular selections, so that we can fill small bags with a terrific mix of beads, for just $5.00 each. Over the years I have been to several International and domestic bead shows and many wonderful bead shops in Albuquerque and Rio Rancho, New Mexico, Chapel Hill, NC. and Ashville, NC; but Rare Earth tops them all! It is my go-to spot for creative satisfaction.

If you want just beads and jewelry DIY supplies, their stock is limited-- go to Firefly in Carrboro. If you want big chunks of gemstones for display, this is the place. The staff were very nice.

Cashier was very kind, helpful and knowledgable! I found exactly what I needed. The products are so beautiful and I always look forward to returning! They also sell my favorite types of incense at a very affordable price which I greatly appreciate.

I've been going to Rare Earth Beads for years. One of the best stores for gem stones, variety and quality, in the area. I also got some of the traditional African beads there. They no longer do classes I think because of covid but they do give advice and help as much as possible.

Love this store & love the deals. The girl who is usually working is super knowledgeable and friendly every time I come in (which is a lot). Also much more fairly priced than other crystal stores in the area while also selling jewelry making supplies that I don’t find anywhere else! Attached is a necklace I made all with materials from rare earth beads.

Excellent selection and very fair pricing. Large displays of giant crystals and lots of strands of specific bead types. Multiple bowls of beads and jewelry ornaments. Shop owner was very knowledgeable and very kind and considerate.

I love this place! Awesome service. You can be left alone to browse or if you want guidance or have questions, they are ther to help and share their love of gems. I've spent a couple hours at a time there and they were happy to let me comb through last chance bin at my slow pace. I love the quality and value. It's one of my happy places!

This was my first time here, and I had so much fun! I was shopping both for myself and for my son who is about to come for a visit, and the staff was incredibly helpful. My only complaint is that you just had too many beautiful things all at once, which made it hard to choose. Not much of a complaint, I know!

While the selection of individual beads has decreased, there are still plenty of beautiful strands, findings, tools and a wonderful (expanded/expanding) collection of high quality crystals. David, the owner and buyer, has a great eye. The staff is knowledgeable, enthusiastic, patient. I’ve found some real treasures.
