Updated Review (09/2023): I achieve more discipline, confidence, and respect for the Martial Arts. The sense of community is the reason why I am continuously here. I thank the OBJJ Staffs, Coaches, and Professors. Had an awesome Muay Thai session with Coach Anthony.

5 Stars no doubt. The instructors are Olympic-caliber or at the very least state and national level, breaking details down for moves on some days and also have more roll/randori heavy classes for those that want it. I was only there for a week and I did the unlimited training, the schedule was incredible, I was able to train almost all times everyday, the people there were welcoming. I've trained in several states throughout the years (MMA, Judo, BJJ, Muay Thai) and can confidently say OBJJ, with the class sizes, facility and instructors is top-of-the-line. One of the few places that has dedicated wrestling for adults for those that want to perfect that part of their game for MMA or BJJ.

The owner was amazing had a a few great conversations with him and my daughter seem to like the class. Would recommend if you live in the area. The review above was on my daughter's first day. Since then she received her first strip and my wife and myself could not be more proud of her. After taking all of the classes myself the trainers are all elite and compliment each other. In BJJ they have the owner who is the glue that holds the whole gym together and a 4th degree black belt. He and all of his BJJ coaches are not only multiple time champions but are all a class act and will give you personal one on one time until you understand the drill. In wrestling they have Geordan that can break down the hardest move and make you understand it and is also a multiple time champion and a purple belt in BJJ. In Judo the have Lakea who is in a class of his own and the greatest Judoken I have ever seen in person and holds a black belt in Judo and BJJ. And last but certainly not least Coach Von who not only is also a black belt in Judo but and amazing Boxing Coach. I have taking boxing classes before but his sets the bar. You learn so much in his class and it's fun at the same time. Always smiling and encouraging. This is the best gym I have ever been to that has everything you could ask for and an amazing staff. Juan, Logan and Nicole do a great job as the face of OBJJ when you walk in and greet you. Like I said in my first review this gym is worth checking out if you live in the area. They have a MMA Cage and a professional boxing ring. This place is always clean and there are a variety of people from all different walks of life which is truly amazing.

I love my gym I have the best coaches Marco, Geordan, Brad and Milena for BJJ. They make me feel welcome and work with me and I always have a great time. I also love my boxing class with Coach Von he is very kind, funny and inspiring. He reminds me a lot of my Daddy with the passion he teaches his students.

I’ve been attending this gym for just under 2 years and it is not like any gym I’ve been to before. Gary runs the 630 am BJJ class and grew it from maybe 5 students to now over 20 plus students on a consistent basis. He undoubtedly knows how to create an environment that not only challenges you but breeds teamwork and proficiency. Would highly recommend Orlando BJJ to anyone looking for a good gym in the central Florida area.

After many years away from martial arts, I've returned today for a tryout Muay Thai class with coach Anthony - I could not be any happier with the drills, instructions, etc. Coach Anthony keeps an eye on the whole class and always gives feedback on your strikes and stance helping you to build confidence and absorb the most during the class. I am definitely sticking with this gym. If you are looking for a gym that offers Muay Thai and many other martial arts (Boxing, BJJ, etc) or just physical conditioning , look no further - come to OBJJ and enjoy the humongous gym, official size octagon and much more. They took this picture today - I am the tired guy with long sleeve white shirt - waisted, had the wind knocked out of me but I could not be any happier for a Saturday morning! The absolute best way to spend an hour of your day! I was nervous coming to my first class as a 35 year old with no martial arts experience, but everyone was so nice and welcoming that my nerves soon passed. I’ve been going for almost 4 months now and I can easily say that it’s one of the best decisions I’ve made and I look forward to continuing my journey there for years to come. Below are some areas I wanted to highlight about my experience there. Facility: Excellent. OBJJ has a facility that is always clean and very spacious. Staff: Outstanding. The instructors at OBJJ are very friendly and the instruction they provide is phenomenal. I have learned so much already and look forward to continuing doing so. Culture: Brad, the owner, and his team of instructors have cultivated a wonderful culture that emphasizes safety and respect at OBJJ. My fellow classmates are always very friendly and welcoming too and I really like that everyone shakes each other’s hand and says hello/goodbye before and after every class. I highly recommend Orlando Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to anyone interested in the martial arts world!

Really like training here everyone is welcoming and supportive. Muay Thai with coach ant is challenging but also taliored to all experience levels. Coach von’s boxing class is the same, he does this huddle with a message to share with his boxers at the end of every single class that’s very motivating and encouraging, makes you want to be a better fighter yes but also a better person. Coach Rick’s fitness class is great if you want to get and stay and shape. To be honest all the coaches are great very motivating and willing to help you reach your goals whether you’re just trying to get in shape or compete at the next level. I just started training here and it’s already starting to feel like my second home. So, yes give this gym a try if you’re looking for a place to train.

If you're looking for a GYM that offers all types of MMA look no further. Spacious, clean, and overall a great energy throughout the building. They have wide range of classes, and I recommend the Muay Thai with Anthony. I've taking multiple classes and each one has been different, challenging and full of energy. Anthony does a great job of engaging with everyone in the class, keeping us moving throughout, teaching techniques and makes it acceptable to all Muay Thai levels.

Stopped by for a Muay Thai class taught by coach Anthony, and a boxing class taught by coach Von. Anthony's class was very challenging and definetly pushed my cardio and endurance. Von's class was technical and had me thinking on my feet a lot. Both coaches are awesome and would highly recommend for anyone thinking of picking up the sport!

First, I want to start off by saying this is the best gym I’ve ever been to. I’ve visited other gyms and this is the best one by far. I felt so welcome by Juan at the front desk and Brad the owner was so nice and made me feel welcome, but now let me get to my experience at the gym. The Muaythai instructor is very knowledgeable and very patient with his students. He makes the class very fun and challenging yet, You learn a lot of things in his class. I highly recommend if you have not taken a Muaythai class or have taken it before to try Kru Anthony’s class it is very intense, but you have fun. Today I took my first boxing class ever and just like my first experience and Muaythai I had the same with the boxing coach. Von is very knowledgeable and patient with me. He made me feel very comfortable and made the class fun.

I've been training Jiu-Jitsu (gi & no gi) and Muay Thai at this gym for the past 2.5 years and have nothing but amazing things to say! I've trained with numerous Jiu-Jitsu coaches and they all work to create a positive environment for students of all skill levels to learn, grow, and experiment with their skills. They are very personable and are always willing to help their students. The class format allows students the flexibility to work both new skills and also practice their current skills to help them grow in their own way. Each coach keeps a watchful eye to ensure students are both learning correct technique and staying safe while on the mat. Coach Anthony leads an exciting Muay Thai program that has been growing since its inception. He leads the class with admirable consistency and is always willing to go the extra mile for his students. He provides various teaching styles and methods that provide students the opportunity to grow in whatever way(s) work best for them. The numerous options of training styles grant students the ability to learn in a setting they feel comfortable with and their own pace, all while being encouraged to push themselves to achieve their goals. The owner, Brad Thompson, and his staff work diligently to provide the students with a positive atmosphere that promotes camaraderie, accountability, and encouragement, to each and every student that steps on the mat. The gym is kept very clean and the equipment is well maintained, which meets a safe standard that students can always rely on. I would highly recommend this gym to anyone, regardless of their experience with martial arts. This is an incredible spot to learn skills, get in shape, and cultivate positive relationships with your coaches, peers, and staff. - Cory Hughes

I regularly attend the Muay Thai classes coached by coach Anthony and always learn a lot and have a blast. I’ve also met a bunch of great people along the way. I’ve tried the jiu jitsu classes as well and felt very welcomed as a beginner. This is the best facility in Orlando

Much love for Orlando BJJ! I was visiting from Denver and looking for a place to train Muay Thai. I was able to make it to a couple classes and had a great time learning some fight combos from Anthony and sparring with some of the other guys in class. Juan at the front desk was super friendly and made me feel very welcome. I highly recommend OBJJ whether dropping in or signing up.

I can't fit all of the good things I have to say about OBJJ in this review. Brad is an amazing gym owner who always greets me, and he's been training for decades. The staff are all great people who keep the place extremely clean at all times. OBJJ has the HIGHEST quality classes and instructors for a multitude of different martial arts, and I consider it a second home at this point. P.S. Luis works doing full time hard labor and STILL finds the time to teach a handful of spectacular classes every single week.

OBJJ is a great gym with amazing staff and a wonderful facility. I trained there for about a year doing mainly wrestling and I recieved top notch training from very knowledgeable instructors. My wrestling team at UCF would make it a point to train at OBJJ weekly in order to sharpen our technique. Other members of the gym are also very friendly people who are always willing to help a teammate on the mat and off the mat, just wonderful people. Another point I consider very important for any gym is mat hygiene. From my experience at other gyms infections were a concern but not here at OBJJ. OBJJ has clean mats that are disinfected everyday and clean locker rooms. I am 100% pleased and grateful for my opportunity to train with OBJJ. They will always be a second home:)

Had an trial Muay Thai class with Anthony. It was a fun and challenging class that focused on conditioning and combinations. I definitely plan on coming back, and I look forward to trying some sparring and technique focused classes as well!

Amazing gym to train, the culture at this gym is structured for all including those who want to compete. Every instructor is well versed, and wants you to learn. It has a very family like culture. I would recommend this gym to any one 10/10. I have done both BJJ and Muay Thai. Best instructors.

This is by far one of the best martial arts academies I've ever been to. Between the quantity of styles to teach and the quality of instructors, this dojo is a rare gym to find. The Judo program here in particular is top notch. Lakea, Von, Brolio, and Jeff are all phenomenal instructors and world class Judokas. They all teach Judo at a high level with an impressive resume to back it up. The front desk has always been kind and friendly, willing to help out their members in anyway. Logan, Juan and Nichole are some of the finest staff within this Academy and Brad is a phenomenal gym owner who is always looking forward on expanding the program and looking for new ways for the students here to succeed! I'd give this place EASILY a 5/5 star review. It's one of the best here in the state!

I have been training here for several years and cannot recommend the BJJ program enough. With a busy work schedule I can only make time to train in the morning. Gary’s morning classes are perfect for this - high quality instruction and competition every day of the week. There are always people willing to roll a little longer after class as well or work on a specific technique. The locker rooms and showers are also kept very clean which makes it easy to go right to work afterwards. Would recommend for any locals looking for a gym or visitors of any skill level looking for a drop in class.

😠 If I could give a 0 start I would. I arrived at the gym at 9:39, I parked at the front of the gym, from the inside I saw the associate behind the front desk on his phone. I walked to the door to go spend 20 minutes in the sauna and the door was locked. The associate stated they lock the doors 20 min...
