If youā€™re looking for an honest & safe environment to grow & flourish Iā€™d recommend staying as FAR away from Rogers as possible. My entire experience has been an absolute & utter nightmare. It stems back to the first time (July of 2018) I was in treatment. I was continuously and callously silenced when I made efforts to advocate my concerns or stand up for my emotional needs (starkly labeled with great prejudice ā€œverbally aggressiveā€) when I didnā€™t submit to every little detail that was being said and/or related to me by doctors & the group therapist. Whenever I respectfully challenged an idea or spoke up to defend myself I was quickly told I was being ā€œhostileā€ and ā€œargumentativeā€ then threatened with discharge aka: ending of my treatment; if I didnā€™t figuratively & quite literally ā€œstop speaking up.ā€ Furthering the horrid stigma that mental health patients are ā€œcrazyā€ and ridden with fear to voice our concerns due to validated apprehensions that we will be shunned & quite rudely told to ā€œshut up or leave.ā€ This isnā€™t just a disgruntled former patientā€™s rant who inevitably found herself forcibly discharged after discovering her voice & standing her ground. I witnessed SEVERAL patients leave within days due to bizarre DBT processing methods performed by the group therapist (Lori) & overwhelming cruelty/insensitivity by the medial doctor (Kevin Kuntz.) Who I firmly believe needs to be asked to either stop working with the eating disorder unit or be asked to resign. He has said & done some of the most egregious/questionable/unethical things that Iā€™ve EVER heard in my long years of experience within the mental health realm. I plan to contact news outlets & undergo further investigation regarding his practices & the way he goes about prescribing medications & conversing with patients. His blatant discriminatory behaviors should not be tolerated! He has treated not only I (heavily tattooed) but other patients (varying ethnic background) with hateful behaviors as well. I plan to also conduct research & background work on the group therapist, Lori, who should explain exactly how she went about attaining her position. Her lack of professionalism & tact is quite concerning... I went to school for journalism for this EXACT reason. People like Kevin Kuntz & Lori with Rogers Memorial are the DIRECT reasons why the mental health field is so widely scrutinized & misunderstood. The lack of compassion theyā€™ve displayed will not go unnoticed & I advice other former patients whoā€™ve undergone further trauma due to their methods, to contact me and/or those higher up in Rogers Memorial so thereā€™s record of your situations too. I do not plan on allowing this type of mistreatment to continue any further- especially at the hands of those who are supposed to have full control over the orchestration my care & recovery. I wouldnā€™t wish my journey with Rogers upon my worst enemy. And I pray that someone from Rogers contacts me so I can further explain & provide other patients contact information to support these claims. I am not alone; and that itself is unacceptable & quite frankly horrifying to know. Just know- I will NOT be silenced any longer! MAJOR CHANGES need to be had! And I intend to follow through until I tangibly see those changes made.

If I could give this place less than a star, I would. Run far away. Synopsis: no one on one therapy and every doctor WILL IN FACT diagnosis you with one or multiple mental illnesses. Because addiction = mental illness always, right?! I'm sober today because of after care NOT with Roger's and sheer willpower. Took me 4 weeks to get in for treatment. There was a "staff/patient scandal" when I was there. This place IS A JOKE! Typical corporate rehab facility turning out beds to pull a profit and not at all concerned with patient wellness. Save your lame response Roger's... spread the word that this money grubbing faculty is. A SHAM!,!

I had a very disappointing experience with Rogers. I pay too much money for their program to be one of 8-9 people of a group where I only talk for 10-15 minutes. Not where Iā€™d advise money to go. Not only that, the nurse that I had encouraged me to stop care giving for people knowing it was my best quality. You get a brief 10-15 minute break during a three hour long session. Each of these three hour long sessions are a whopping $300. And they donā€™t even have a snack or beverage provided. The institution makes roughly $600-900/hr depending on the group size and again, no snack or beverage provided. And only 10-15 minutes of talk time. Total rip off. I withdrew from the program after day three.

Stay far away. They are so harmful to mental health and create more problems than they solve. They gave twice the maximum dose of a medication because nobody knows medication. I learned how to self harm in their focus unit and only learned harmful coping strategies. They "created" diagnosis to get reimbursed by insurance and call child protection if you don't agree with their treatment plan or express concern about the lack of treatment or supervision. If you care about your child go somewhere else. They prey on families who are desperate for help and make things worse

Rogers Madison has saved me many times. I have never left without feeling stable while getting great treatment. I have been in many different partial programs at Rogers-Madison since they opened. I would recommend Rogers to anyone who needs more intense treatment. They have never failed me.

I do not recommend this facility at all. High turnover of staff leads to virtually no continuity of care and makes it impossible to build any rapport. Most staff just read directly out of the book at you for hours.

My Wife has been on morphine for the last 18 years due to her back pain, Rogers blew her off, She only wanted to ween herself off,Nope! They cannot help,What kind of place is this?We have insurance and the means to help her, They have no means to help,Apparently they lack educated medical professionals, Or are out of touch with opiate addiction, Itā€™s truly sad Iā€™m trying to help my wife that I love more than life,, What is their business plan based on? Itā€™s not about treating loved ones,Only Profits, A place like this is not recommended by myself, And this Business needs to be treated by the staff they employee,They will expire,

I actually tried to seek out help for my depression and complex Anxiety and PTSD and I am shocked I got denied HELP so now cause of being declined all the time for trying to seek help I just numb my pain with Tylenol PM so I can sleep during the day and night so I donā€™t have to face the Daily Life Stressors especially dealing with Chronic Pain. Feel more Hopeless that I canā€™t get any help. So now cause of that I just numb my pain with meds

I have been within Rogers system for over a year and they have been nothing but amazing! I have been in 3 different rogers locations for inpatient and was able to get in the same day as being assessed over the phone. I have been through 3 IOP programs (trying to figure out exactly which one would suite me best) and finally I've been through 2 IOPs. The care and compassion that Rogers employees give to patients is amazing. Not once have I been judged for relapsing (mentally) and needing to get more treatment) hence why I have been in treatment for a year. My sister is in recovery and she went through Rogers as well and she is now 2+ years sober! We both appreciate that Rogers is there for crisis situations and for care such as Inpatient, PHP and IOP. Keep up the great work, you all are amazing!

Because my in-patient experience at Oconomowoc was a positive one, I recently completed a form requesting an assessment for intensive outpatient therapy in Madison, WI, and NEVER heard anything from you. No wonder I and others are experiencing mental health crises! This refusal to acknowledge or respond to my request for an assessment is completely unacceptable and has exacerbated my crisis as I imagine it has done to others as well. Obviously Rogers is unable or unwilling or both to beprovide the mental health care it purportedly offers. No wonder I and others continue to experience mental health crises when those responsible for assessment do not even acknowledge such requests! However, looking at all the one-star (or less!) reviews for Rogers, perhaps it is just as well they never got back to me. Yet, Madison should certainly have something that offers intensive outpatient therapy. It does not. Thanks for nothing!
