My visit was very informative and I felt like I was a real patient and mattered. This is better than I received at any the local physicians I've visited in the past. Update 1/29/22: Kaya made recertification easy and pleasant. I'm very pleased with the service I receive. I feel my conditions are improving and I am thankful for some relief from my pain. Update 4/7/23: Kaya continues to provide world class service. I highly recommend them.

place only wants your money. They don't care about you as a person or a patient! After being a patient for over 2 years, I can clearly see it's all about the money! Very disgruntled if you can't tell!!! I'll definitely be recommending a different doctor to all my friends and family who go here. Do a better!!!!!!

I’m editing my review because my experience with my first visit was very good. Aside from a man coming in yelling because Dr. Johnson had not returned his calls in weeks. The first issue I personally encountered was when I found out that I had paid the same amount for my medical card as everyone else for her to prescribe me 1/3 of the amount usually recommended. Also, all my prescriptions after a certain date were cancelled. This was brought to my attention each time I have visited a dispensary and they have told me to reach out to her to figure out why that is. After calling several times and not receiving a response for 3 weeks, I finally got ahold of somebody at the desk. She let me know that it “may” be because of my age, I am a liability and she “may” raise it over time yet still never gave me an explanation as to why 9 months out of the year I paid for was cancelled. I am aware age is not the issue as I am 19, over the legal age for medical cannabis in the state of Florida. I have reached out to several other doctors and budtenders that said this should have never been an issue and they have never seen something like this. Regardless, I still haven’t heard a thing from Dr. Johnson until I received a bill from her yesterday!! Haha! It blows my mind how for her to even talk to me or be willing to increase my prescription I have to give her more money. This has been brought to my attention and described to me as THEFT. This place will not be seeing another dime from me. If you would like to be with a RESPONSIVE and helpful doctor to go to with your questions and help you through this process I suggest taking your business elsewhere. There are plenty of other doctors that care more about your well being than your MONEY!

Everything from the first greeting from the front desk, to the consultation with the doctor went smoothly. They were very informative and helpful.

I always had a pleasant time, easy in and out, but after what they did to my husband, I deleted my good review. My husband works out of state. He has to take the day off, drive 13 hours, and that doesn’t count stops. They knew this when they took him as a patient in October of 2022, however, now that’s it’s time for him to be seen again, he was told to find another doctor, because they no longer do Friday. My appointment was just on a Friday!! Now, I’m trying to find him a new doctor, because of course they want let you make an appointment till the month of. So, thank you for taking the money but not making time for an appointment. This place could careless about you and your needs. I will be putting a call into the Health Department!! Plus I’m worried that they didn’t renew my prescriptions and that I myself, might be out more money to see another doctor. What a mess.

Manny and his team at Kaya Life are kind, knowledgeable and extremely professional. From the moment I entered their beautiful office, I felt at ease and excited to connect with everyone. During my appointment, I was educated about a wide range of options that would work for my chronic pain management. I’ve had my medical card in a few other states for years and never have I had such an educational experience. It turns out you can teach an old dog new tricks! I highly recommend them!

Kaya Life Cannabis Clinicians is the place to go if you're just starting the process or if, like me, your doctor dipped and you need a new one. Manny made my transition and intake effortless. Dr. Steele is very attentive. He listens and then recommends. Together they made a plan for my treatment that I believe in. They are very knowledgeable and thorough. As a new resident to Florida and previously a MD Cannabis card holder I scheduled an appointment with Kaya Life for just 2 days later and within a few hours received a call back and they were able to reschedule me for the very next day. Manny was extremely knowledgeable, pleasant, warm, and understanding to my needs. Dr. Steele was great. He was very professional, listened intently, and made me feel good about the process. I transferred to Dr. Steele from another doctor. The difference was night and day. My first interaction at Kaya Life was with Manny. He was extremely knowledgeable about all the cannabis products, their uses and how each one can help in a specific way. He took the time to find out what my medical issues are and how best to treat them. After Manny established a treatment plan I went to meet Dr. Steele. I was greeted with a smiling face and a friendly personality. He was brief but made sure Manny had covered all my needs. I never felt rushed and I felt like they had my best interest at heart.

This is me updating my review from 210 days ago. At that time I saw Dr Steele, and everything was great. This time I saw Dr Stephanie Johnson. First and foremost I wasn't seen for my 11:45 until noon. My second issue is that there was some other person in the room for the entire appointment that never even introduced themselves. She didn't even know I was there for a recertification, and then she immediately went into how high my recommendation already is, and basically started asking me to walk her through how I even consume cannabis. Which led us to talking about dabs, at which point she argued with me about the temperature that you're supposed to set your dab rig. She went on to argue with me about what routes the dispensary are dispensing under. Then she cut my rec by more than half and didn't even mention it. I had to see it on the ommu website and then when I tried to call, surprise, no answer. This was like night and day from when I saw Dr Steele, and you can promise that I will definitely steer everyone away from this place. The whole thing was very combative and borderline humiliating.

Can get you in extremely quickly. The doctor and his staff are extremely sweet, helpful and compassionate. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I appreciate all the help/care I have received from everyone here.

I went to renew and my doctor basically told me I couldn’t have them anymore because I was too far away! I came here to Kaya life and was helped and walked through the confusing process! I’ve been a patient with them for going on a year now and it’s been a flawless experience! I recently had to make some adjustments to my prescription allowance and I don’t think that process could have gone quicker and easier! I feel like they care about you and get to the point without making you jump hoops! That’s how I like to do business! Florida law and patient needs can get confusing. These fine people will simplify it for you! On a side note the building there in is a piece of history that’s hard to ignore while you’re there.

Everyone was nice and super helpful. All of my questions were answered without hesitation and the whole appointment took about 30 minutes.

It can be overwhelming when choosing a specialist doctor for the first time. I made an appointment online for a consultation. Manny contacted me to explain everything required for my consultation and answered any questions I had. I was given an appointment for the very next week with Dr. Steele. Much sooner than I had expected. I'm thankful Kaya Life was there to help with the online state licensing process to ensure accuracy and promptness on consultation day.
