My husband and I are locals in Ormond and we were so looking forward to eating here! But we were disappointed from start to finish. I don't usually write reviews after a bad restaurant experience, I'd put it down to a staffing problem or even a bad day, because that happens in life. But here was different. There was no welcoming smile. No guidance on where we should sit, and when we were approached hurriedly by I assume the owner, we were asked "are you staying?" in such a manner that it basically said "we will be inconvenienced if you stay". Well, yes we had planned on eating in the restaurant. We were sat immediately but no menus were provided and no one approached us to let us know we should order from the counter. We got our own menus, and ordered for take out instead because we prefer to eat in a friendly environment. I ordered the roast beef sandwich. It was adequate. My husband ordered the chicken schnitzel, it was fried beyond recognition of food and went in the trash after a couple of bites. We won't be going back and I'm certain they won't care.

I had the roast beef sandwich. it turned out to taste just like steak umm’s. extremely dry & over cooked. service was extremely poor waited over 20 minutes for a sandwich. I was asked how was it and I told him it was terrible. I got absolutely no reaction from him and he walked away. I’ll will never be going back there again. I do not recommend this restaurant.

Great place, simple yet tasty menu. Great service, clean and comfterble. Defenetly a place to stop by to eat.

The food that came to table is not what was on menu! Over priced, Low quality, bait and switch. Go somewhere else to enjoy your meal! Owner didn’t even try to make things better. appetizer came out at the end of the meal

Good food selections for vegetarians and vegans. Love the pasta with the impossible meatballs! They also have excellent customer service. I placed an order online that was declined, but I was not informed. I called the restaurant and told them I wasn’t notified of the cancellation and they were very apologetic. My connection got cut off so I figured since the order was canceled, I’d eat elsewhere. Well, much to my pleasant surprise, they delivered the order anyway (on the house) and even included a piece of cake for the inconvenience! How thoughtful! Not many restaurants go out of their way to provide good customer service, so this speaks volumes. Anyway, they have good food, great customer service AND free delivery to some areas before 3 pm. Highly recommended!

Excellent kosher food. I had the salmon quinoa salad and a Blue Moon. Wonderful serving size and great dressing. My husband had lox and bagel. I highly recommend.

We tried to come three times to the restaurant. First time we came we thought there was dairy because there's pictures in there Google that shows dairy. Second time we came at 7:30, 30 minutes before it is advertised that they close and they claimed they were close even though 30 minutes is plenty of time to order food. Third time we came it was Friday at 12 pm and it says on there site open from 11 - 2 on Fri. Again another misrepresentation of time available on Google. Either update your times or don't have a store and waste people's time hoping you are open. Disappointed that I couldn't even try the food.

My family and I came from NY to visit and decided to dine in Eden Fresh Cafe. I must say that it was a great experience! The food was delicious and service was quick! My father who loves pizza went out to thank the chef personally saying that it was one of the best Pizzas he ever had. The owners and staff were very friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.

I just ate at Gili's. My family has been telling me for a long time to go there and I just have not had time. Well, I will have to find time. It was really awesome. Everything from the food, to the service, to the atmosphere, it was excellent. Highly recommend. Really great menu that combines wonderful meats and steaks, and handcrafted burgers, yet it has a lot of healthy stuff for vegetarians etc. Great place!!! It is also a block from the beach in Ormond's historic beach district. Plenty of parking too.

Delicious food! I dined in and had the hummus bowl for breakfast. The pita were soft and fluffy as you would expect. The humus was delicious. My friend got the lamb burger and it looked 🔥

A great kiddie burger full of flavor and hot fries. I have special diet, and ordered that. It was just enough to fill me up.

This restaurant was AMAZING!!! So thrilled to see such ana amazing kosher restaurant in Ormand Beach. The service was exceptional and the ambiance was extremally comfortable and relaxed. The food was fresh and delicious, leaving me very satisfied. Would DEFINITELY come again!

Wowowowow Gillis, does it again! I was blown away by gilis in Jacksonville and now in Ormond as well. Thank Gd there is amazing fresh Kosher Food in the area now! We got the wings,pargiot and schnitzel which all were fresh and tasty! The sides were plentiful as well, and my man, Hillel, is amazing! We definitely recommend and support Gilis in both thier locations and may they be tremendously successful!

We went today and I had the burger with sweet potato fries and my wife had the pita shawarma ,we also had a few onion rings. The service and the food was excellent and looking forward to trying something else on the menu.

They are closed. I came in from out of town thinking they would be open because it says it on their Google hours of operation. Really disappointed after driving such a far distance just to get kosher food for Shabbat. The only kosher alternative at the moment in the area is Winn-Dixie.

There used to be three kosher eateries in Ormond Beach. Now there's only one. Eden Fresh used to be a dairy, health conscious establishment, now they are a meat bistro. We got there 15 minutes before closing and ordered two homemade 8oz "jumbo" burgers on a toasted pretzel bun to go. It was delicious @ $14.

Just had the blintzes, out of this world!!!!! Every bite melts in your mouth and such a delicious coating. Definitely will have again!!!!!

Friendly staff with smiles!! The food is made fresh to order and with tons of flavor. I attend the yoga class on Thur at 11 and they have a yoga lunch special. A salad and smoothie for $7.99 and yoga is free. A family owned business is the way to go. Support small business and eat healthy.
