We were referred to Five Star and hired them for exterior painting. They provided quotes and also referred us to an excellent color consultant to select colors. They showed up on time and got the job done quickly and efficiently. The quality of their work is excellent and our house looks fantastic! We will be hiring them again for interior work.

He was on time with his crew on the first day when we had to let them into our new house before we moved in. After they cleaned up and closed up on the first day, I was pleasantly pleased with all the work (couldn’t even tell there were repairs done in some spots!) Mayolo and his son did great work. Will definitely be using them again for any future painting needs.

Kerry and his crew were amazing. From the quote, to the color consultation, to the actual painting, the communication and quality were there. There were a couple of items we noticed during inspection that were taken care of right away. We also had some repair and caulking of an attached shed we had to do independently after the fact, and Kerry was kind enough to come back out to do the touch ups after our work.

Kerry and the team have been incredible to work with and I cannot recommend them enough! All communication is clear and prompt. Projects go smoothly and efficiently without any issues. We have now hired them for multiple projects and all have been done exceptionally well. My favorite was their work on our stair case- an incredible transformation! They even came in and fixed up some mistakes made by other painters we had hired previously (don't make our same mistake...save money and hire the right guys the first time). Will only be using Five Star going forward!

Michael and his team did an excellent job painting nearly all of our interior walls, plus removing popcorn ceiling texture and repainting several ceilings. The crew was clean, friendly, and hard working. They brought the right number of people for the job, did exceptional prep work to ensure our furnishings and floors were protected, and finished the work several days ahead of schedule. Based on the great interior work the team did we already booked them to paint our home’s exterior later this year. You can’t go wrong with this crew!

I saw an earlier post that if you had Mason do your estimate you wouldn't end up hiring any one else. I did get more estimates but I felt like Mason and Five Star understood my intentions and helped me figure out how and where to paint for a cohesive look! We had new black windows and we wanted color scheme to enhance that beauty. Our 70's ranch has gone from light and bright but super basic to a dark and moody contemporary look. Great service. We hired Michael to get our fireplace painted. We wanted a specific look, painting the brick but not the grout. Alfredo (on his team) was extremely meticulous and the final product turned out amazing. Also got us down on the books for exterior house painting in the spring

I would highly recommend five star painting. We originally hired them to remove wall paper and paint a few walls when we purchased our home. Most recently we hired them to repaint our exterior trim, exterior doors, interior ceilings, interior walls and kitchen island. Competitive pricing and quality work.

Very professional. They apply 2 coats which speaks to the quality, and also the price. The painters were courteous during the job (they opened a hole in the window covering at a few places to allow us to see some sunshine and trees.. without us asking). Good clean up afterwards.

We had Five Star Painting of Lake Oswego paint both the inside cabinets and exterior of the house. They did an amazing job with both. First, the inside cabinets job was to paint over 12 year old red oak. The cabinets were in two bathrooms, kitchen, butlers pantry, living room, office, mudroom and handrails. Michael's team wrapped each section to ensure that we can continue to utilize other parts of the house and minimize exposure. They did an amazing job and Alfredo (who was the main interior painter) paid close attention to detail. He even proactively sanded and repainted a portion of the cabinets because he was not happy with how one of his assistant painters painted it. We probably wouldn't have noticed but it is nice to see someone take so much pride in their work. We also expanded the painting project by painting some additional walls. It was nice to see that we were not taken advantage of, by the "change orders". We were charged very reasonably for the additional work. In terms of the exterior of our house, we have a very challenging house to paint because our house is on a slope. The highest point of our house is over 50ft. A lot of the painters who came out to our house either never ended up bidding or quoted a ridiculous number. Five Star Painting of Lake Oswego provided a reasonable quote and also agreed to work with pump jack equipment to reach the higher parts of the home. By using the pump jack equipment, we avoided scaffolding which would have cost a few thousand dollars from a third party. The job was not easy and they did a great job painting. Any "nitpicky" issues that we had were addressed quickly. They also have a 2-year guarantee for touch-ups which is a nice perk. Michael was easy to get a hold of and communicated well with any updates. He frequently texted my wife and I with progress updates. We highly recommend Five Star Painting of Lake Oswego.
