Absolutely love everything about this place! Without even entering, we were already immersed in the Italian atmosphere with people conversing and laughing with Italian music playing in the background. The owners are super friendly and welcoming and it’s always been interesting for me to learn more about the culture which they are so open about. The pastries are spectacular, as most things are imported from Italy. I had a sfogliatella with black coffee and my dad had gotten a pistachio desert which was amazinggg! One of the best things I’ve ever tasted, it is so addicting. Sad thing about leaving for school is not being able to come here as often, but it’ll be the first place I go back to!

This place is a hidden gem! Stopped by for a quick coffee but ended up staying for their hot chocolate and pastries. Let me tell you... that hot chocolate was rich and decadent... it was DELICIOUS!!!!! If you are in the area you HAVE to try it. Wow... just wow!

AMAZING AND AUTHENTIC ITALIAN! 🇮🇹 As a true Italian - born and raised in Italy- I’m often disappointed by Italian food abroad. This place is simply PERFECT! 😍Went this morning for croissant and I got a Pistacchio, Nutella and chocolate croissant 🥐 - they are the EXQUISITE like from a true Italian PASTICCERIA (pastry shop). They have also a small market with imported Italian products you cannot find anywhere else in US. TRY IT OUT! It was nice to speak Italian too!!! Few customers were actually Italian! Grazie mille e a presto! ❤️

I hardly ever review and I can’t stand how most people either giving 5 stars or 1. As of this review they had 45 reviews all 5 stars. They actually deserve it!! I went with a buddy of mine that tried everywhere we could find between New Haven and The Bronx. We each got a pastry and a caffe. They were so good we started ordering another four kinds. All were excellent as were the cappuccino and espresso!! This is authentic.

They have the best pastries and coffee in Norwalk. Since they open this is my favorite spot to take my brake and enjoy a good coffee. Great customer service and attentive staff I recommend this place to everyone you going to love it.

Pausa Caffè is a great place to start your morning! Coffee is excellent and the service is really good & thoughtful with friendly staff. I had hazelnut conchiglia. It was light, flaky, and had the perfect amount of filling. Will definitely be my new go-to coffee shop!

One of my favorite coffee shops in the area. Everyone who works here are so welcoming. You also can’t beat how authentic the pastries and coffee are. My friend and I were having such a great time that we didn’t realize the cafe had closed, but the workers allowed us to stay until we finished our coffee. Would recommend anyone to try this spot!!!

I’m half Italian so when I heard of Pausa Caffe I had to go give it a try. It’s now my family’s favorite gelato place. We go almost every week. It’s a real authentic slice of Italy right here in Norwalk. The Italian family who owns and runs Pausa are super friendly. It’s a bonus that they are Italian so I enjoy speaking Italian with them. They also have great Italian pastries and the arancini are a favorite weekly meal for our family. They have the best espresso I’ve had in this country.

As someone abroad who misses their Italian family, this Café was just everything I needed. The coffee is some of the best I’ve had since I’ve come to America. The pastries and desserts are just to die for. They taste like Italy on a plate and the price is awesome for what you get. The staff and just the all around vibe of everyone who came in was so friendly. Absolutely recommend!!

This is by far my favorite place to hang out and unwind. The atmosphere is friendly, welcoming and peaceful. You feel like you’re in Italy when you’re there. The coffee is amazing, of course, but beyond that, it is the hospitality of the staff that makes the experience even better! I find myself wanting to stay long and visit every day. Now about the food…WOW! The sweets are either imported from Italy or made on site. Everything I try is mind blowing. Nothing disappoints. There are also products to take home, imported of course, so you can experience Italian flavors at home too. I have tried the fresh pasta and some cookies and crackers so far and they are all amazing. This is definitely THE place to check out in Norwalk.

So far the best connoli I have ever had. The Nutella croissant was also amazing. We will definitely go back again.

I am so happy Norwalk is home to this absolute GEM. The coffee is delicious and my very picky friend loved their pastries. The store itself is clean and the service is wonderful. I felt like I was back in Italy, sipping my cappuccino overhearing the language, taking in the smells, tastes and culture. Thank you for opening such a lovely cafe- I will definitely return.

I am a pistachio lover and their cornetto is insanely amazing. Better than anything I ate in a recent visit to Rome. Very good!

Had this place on my radar since it opened. I finally stopped in and I have to say it was better than I expected. They have foods from Italy fried pasta chocolates, cookies, jams and other items. I sat and had a espresso drink. The staff was great the coffee was brought over by a waiter on a tray with a glass of water. The espresso was perfect. The place was hopping at 4:30 on a Tuesday. Ran into a friend and he got a coffee and Cornetto to go while on a break. I will definitely make this a regular stop!

Beste babà I've had outside Italy! The lady was super nice and maybe because it was almost time to close, I asked for a sfogliatella and she gave an extra and they were amazing. Parking g just in front of the place so it's super easy to just park, grab a to go pastry and have the perfect day. They also have variety of Italian products: sauces, cookies, pasta, etc and gelatos.
