I have been going to Wheaton Eye Clinic for year as they expanded however the wait times have grown considerably. I was there for over 2 hours once and about ready to walk out. I also have another complaint when I recently called to cancel an appointment & reschedule. I was hit with a ridiculous front end. A maze of options press 1 if you want this press 2 if you want that and so on. Then in the next level the is another line up of options. When all I wanted to do was to cancel and reschedule. NOT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE wading through these options As for my specific Doctor She has been doing an excellent job and have no complaints.

This place is horrible. Appointment time was 9:15, it is 10:20 and the still waiting for dr. My time is valuable. I don’t have time to just sit and wait for them. This is the third visit, and all have been a waiting game.

WOW so I went to see the specialist for something in my eye, then the specialist send me to another specialist to do the same thing, both specialists looked into my eye and weeks later I get the bill charging me for each specialist visit. Seems to me that they just pass around patients just to charge them more and more. Very shoked, hopefully I will never have to go back to this place. Close too $300 for the visits. Be aware people.

I am so happy with all nurses and a doctor who treated my son at Wheaton eye clinic. Very professional and really knows how to talk with kids. My son is 2 years old and very active and I was worried so much that he will not let his eyes checked. But for my surprise nurses and doctor made all this situation to a game. With songs and games. He was happy and not scared at all. Highly recommend! Thank you!

I had my eyes dilated. I asked the doctor if I would be okay to drive, or did I need someone to pick me up? She assured me that I would be okay to drive. They would provide me with special sunglasses to help me see. They must have been out of sun glasses. No glasses were provided to me. Getting home was really scary. I could not follow my GPS, or see any of the street signs. It was a VERY scary experience. I’m so grateful I made it home okay, and there were no accidents. But I definitely lost faith in the doctor telling me I was okay to drive.

If you enjoy waiting over 2 hours before you are called in for a 15 minute surgical procedure or 90 minutes to be seen for a 2 minute follow up visit then Wheaton Eye Clinic is the place for you.

Wheaton Eye Clinic is a highly professional clinic with about thirty doctors sharing space. Check-in usually fast with several staff providing check-in/check-out services. There is a main lobby that holds at least fifty patients. There are four or five wings each with their own secondary waiting areas. I have seen three different specialists and all were very professional and I was very happy with all of them. This is a first-class clinic.

Everyone was very friendly and efficient, the staff was on target. They were very busy and ran the crowd with perfectly fine. So often when you go to a doctor you almost feel like the staff feels like they are so important they they treat you poorly. I've been in customer service for 40 years and my experience with this group was phenomenal. Kudos to all of the amazing people who work there. My sincere thanks Kim Hemesath

I love this place. My eye Dr. Steven Lafayette was very good in removing my eye cataract and the staff are very thorough and fast in their service and very helpful. I had no pain at all after both of my surgery. I saw another Dr.for final follow up during my eye refraction and he said that both of my eyes is doing very well and what to expect in the healing process in the following days. He also gave me advise of what to do with some little issues of what I'm going through.. I will highly recommend to my family and friends to go here for any eye treatment. Thank you very much for treating my eyes well and I can see better now! A job well done!

Second time there for a follow up visit. Great experience. Everyone there was very nice and helpful. They really moved patients along pretty quickly. Some may say it's like an assembly line, but it works. They also took time to answer any questions. Wish other health care can work as efficiently as Wheaton eye clinic.

I have been to Wheaton Eye Clinic on several occasions. The staff is very helpful and pleasant. I just saw Dr, Evan Price for the first time since my original Dr, retired, Dr,Price was very personable and very knowledgeable. I was very impressed with the staff and extremely satisfied with the doctor. i would highly recommend the clinic.

Great experience here. I had not been for years but need services available at this point. Much expanded and modernized! Great staff, especially when you first enter. Wait time was short, back staff was super thorough. Dr was empathetic and explained all options. Highly recommend!

Had to wait a couple weeks to get an appointment but this appears to be an issue for any type of medical practice anymore. Check-in was quick and easy! Very little wait time to see the assistant but the doctor was about 15 minutes late. Again, pretty standard for any medical appointment. The doctor was great! Attentive, showed concern for my issue and gave me all the information I needed to make a decision. I recommend Wheaton Eye Clinic, particularly for anything unusual or medical related to your eyes.

We always have a great experience at Wheaton Eye Clinic! Even though we totally missed the appt time they still got my husband in. He had to see a specialist and is going to need more treatment. Doctor Si was very good at explaining options available. We would recommend her.

Very disappointing today , went to get optical care , actually got told you are verbally no longer with us right in the middle of pain and a crisis . In fact it was sad to see and verbally here how much it has gone down. I had to go to the ER , I did not need to before but with the treatment I got , I certainly did afterwards . By the time I left I was exhausted with their unprofessional behavior. How sad .

Dr. Daily is absolutely amazing! Very professional and takes his patient’s care very seriously! He even took following up with me once so far as to come in on a weekend day when the rest of the staff was off. Unfortunately my condition couldn’t wait until the following Monday. That is dedication!!!

First time in this clinic. Soon as I walked in I was greeted nicely. Every waiting room in this clinic has a purpose and from start to finish I was treated professionally and with care. When you walk in, it is very overwhelming and busy, but the staff guide you every step of the way.

First off, meeting Jennifer was friendly, kind and she was very caring about accommodating my wheelchair. I liked her a lot. Dr Kimberly Blankshire was wonderful. Her explanations were helpful and hopeful. I am so happy she is my new eye doctor.

Wheaton Eye does the routine well, but they continue to amaze me with the breadth and depth of knowledge they have to provide for more unusual or critical eye conditions. I receive excellent, professional and compassionate care each time I go into any of their offices. Know that if you are experiencing a longer wait time, you will receive the ophthalmologist’s full attention when it is your turn. Highly recommended.

Dr. Kipp and the staff at Wheaton Eye Clinic were extremely responsive, professional and the appointment for my daughter was smooth. We are referred somewhere else far away from home, and I’m glad I looked up Wheaton Eye Clinic closer to home. Dr. Kipp was exceptional at handling my 1 month old daughter for an eye exam, explained things thoroughly to us and completely reassured us as new parents. I highly recommend Dr. Kipp for pediatric optho and this practice in general!

I arrived for a comprehensive eye exam at 7:30 and I only had to wait for a few minutes before I was called to start the process. The first room was the eye chart portion of the exam. Then I waited a few more minutes for the next part of the exam, which was a more intense eye exam using high tech machines and before leaving this room the person put drops in my eyes to dilate them. Then I went to the waiting room for about 20 minutes while my eyes were dilating. The final room that I visited was where I actually saw the doctor and he checked my eyes very thoroughly with the machines. All in all a great experience. I highly recommend the Wheaton Eye Clinic 👁👁 to anybody looking for an eye specialist.

I saw Dr Pak for a benign cyst in my right eye. He was great in explaining all that he would do and asked me to repeat back to him what he would be doing. That impressed me so much. He is kind and very personable. All the staff in fact are great.

The quality of the procedures, equipment, and the experience of the specialists are un paralleled. My dad had laser eye surgery with Dr. Anderson and he was so impressed with how painless it was. Unfortunately, our experience is always gut-wrenching when we have to interact with the receptionists or service personnel, they are consistently rude and micro-aggressive. I don't take it personally as we come here for the high quality eye care we receive from the doctors, but we wish they were at least friendly.

The staff and Dr. Pak were amazing. Sue at the front desk and the doctor made me feel welcome and very comfortable. I was there for a consult for issue with my eye and was very nervous when I got there. They were so great I felt relaxed

Everyone was knowledgeable and in the end I finally came out with a completed eye exam, but it was the most time-consuming and complicated process that I’ve ever experienced at a dental office. Arrived at 1:55 and left at 4:15, with most of the time spent being shifted from one waiting room to another. And one of the techs said it wasn’t even a busy day for them! It was my first visit there and I will go back because I do think the doctors are excellent. I just wish they would simplify the process.

Experience with our doctor and staff was great! Three stars solely due to the fact our appointment was scheduled for 10:30 and we weren't called back until 11. Made for an extremely hectic day playing catch up on meetings. Everyone's time is valuable. Also it would be nice to warn first timers that appointments will last 2 hours start to finish. Arrived at 1020, left at 1250. I was not aware that there would be a dilation needed for our appointment for an eye exam entering kindergarten. A little more information at scheduling would have been appreciated!

I was early for my appointment and they started my exam early. The technician was professional and moved me through the stations without delay. I was amazed with the number of patients being processed, and the speed that they were being seen. Dr. Lafayette explained my options and made me feel very comfortable. I can recommend Wheaton Eye Clinic with utmost confidence.

An excellent experience with a clinic I have never visited: the phone contact, the greeter at the door, the registrar, and the nurse were friendly and efficient. Dr Pak was approachable, carefully explained the situation and put my mind at ease as he treated my eye problem. It was fascinating to watch how smoothly you accommodated a waiting room filled with patients. It was clear that everyone understood their part in assuring excellent service.

Everyone at Wheaton Eye Clinic is professional and super friendly. Dr. Setlur is the best! Everything was explained to me up front and I could call in at anytime with questions during recovery. With something as serious as a detached retina, I couldn't have asked for more accomplished surgical staff or for better ongoing support.

Well I have been very pleased with the care i have received from the Wheaton eye clinic. From the doctor and all the technicians are very professional and helpful from beginning of your visit until you are done. So thank you so much for everything you do make sure my vision works good.

My annual appointment was smooth and efficient. I was never left sitting for more than a few minutes in between tests, other than dilation. Staff was friendly and helpful. Dr. Sacher took the time to answer my questions. He also did my cataract surgery last year and I’m thrilled with my 20/20 vision. I would highly recommend him and Wheaton Eye Clinic.

Warmly welcomed by Stephanie who helped me with the required paperwork. Timely provided professional technicians to do necessary exams for the doctor to review. Margo patiently taught me how to apply eye drop medication and listened intently to the previous experience I had and relayed all the paperwork I brought so a good foundation could be established. Very impressed and happy with my eye care and look forward to meeting the recommended retina specialist and future appointments to help improve my vision.

A Beautiful Monday Morning Encounter: Everyone that came in contact with me was very nice, polite and greeted with a smile. I loved the cleanliness of the facility and different variations of chairs with those who needs it for physical reasons. Dr. Michalson walked in the room with a bright smile and an exuberant personality. I loved my encounter, even the front door entrance with the young lady greeter. Even she exuded a great energy in personality. Not one felt as if they didn't want to be bothered with the job that day. A MONDAY morning at that. I only hope I gave them the same about myself. It's good to greet to one another with a good energy, respect and without attitude; no matter where we are. It made the day more beautiful. Thank you Wheaton Eye Clinic for a beautiful morning encounter.

Been going to Wheaton eye clinic since I was a little boy (I'm 37 now). Always satisfied with the doctors and friendly staff. Clinic waiting room and exam rooms very clean and comfy! Private conversations, where no one else can hear you! The wait is the only hard part and be prepared to spend 2 hours of your time there.

Went there yesterday had a 3:40 appointment, well that's when the fun began had a one minute eye exam every half hour, spent all of our time in the waiting room, I counted 10 people total at 4:45 we were sent to the back and the lady said the doctor will be with you in a minute, brings us back to the waiting room, and one by one we watch the staff go home, at5:30 the lady calls our name and we went in to see Dr Michaelson I timed it he spent 2.28 minutes with us and sent us out, I said that is unbelievable we spent 2 hours waiting for a 2 minute visit, as we were leaving ( he heard what I said) he looks at the lady and says What's her problem. If you want to waste 2 hours of your time you'll never get back... This is the place to be.

The clinicians appear competent individually, but it's easy to get lost in the system as it takes weeks and months to get an appointment, even for a follow up. I found out through my experience here and comparing it to an individual eye doctor who owns their own practice that sometimes it's more productive to have a provider who is available for you.
