I'm leaving this review is my last collaboration with Talecris Plasma Center. I have been a patient since 2018. I have made over two grand in donations over time. the reason that I am leaving Talecris plasma center it's because earlier this year in May I went in for a blood donation and was told the physical was due, my annual physical which was fine. I was a little blindsided by the three-hour appointment but I was willing to fulfill that appointment. My problem is that this as of today this is the 3rd time I have been told I need a physical evaluation for this year! That is 9 hours this year that would be wasted on unnecessary physicals for Talecris. that is two physical appointments where they did a full body exam and FAILED to document it. These employees are handling possibly contagious blood from Patient to Patient they are entrusted to change out machines and keep you physically safe but they can't keep record of the full body exam???? I wrote a review because you don't answer your phones. You haven't in 4 years. I wrote a review because your managers don't get back to people. trust me I've called before I don't want to hear from your manager now. I'm leaving thanks for "pretending" to be professional

Right now this center pays $125 for the first donation, $175 for the second, and then $100 each for the next 2 donations. To make it easy, that is a total of $500 for the first 2 weeks! What's more, this is a life saving donation. The staff is very friendly and they all seem happy, which leads me to believe the company treats them well. The facility is clean and they make the experience as efficient and comfortable as possible. If I persuade any of you to go, put me down as a reference because you get $100 for each person you refer!!!

I made an appointment on a Saturday for 1:15 and got out about 3 o'clock after I donated I was going to take my sister to skyzone since I would have gotten 65 dollars but the money I should've received never showed up in my BofA card so I called and no one answered today is Monday I check to see if I have received my money for donating...nothing so I call them again no answer I've called about 4 times no answer! It's ridiculous, very irritating now I'll have to go in and talk to them.

After being told I needed to do my annual physical and I wouldn't be allowed to prior to the day it was due I rescheduled an appointment for the day it was due. I then scheduled a babysitter for my daughter and showed up prior to my appointment time only to be told that they wouldn't have time to do my annual the ENTIRE DAY. It was my second donation of the week, so I lost money by having to pay for a babysitter and lost on my second donation total. Was not allowed to donate and told that I can come back again but they honestly don't know if they'll have time when I come in again either. Both women were rude and unprofessional. I've been coming here for almost two years, but some of these newer staff members are not great to deal with. I'll probably switch to a different center after this. Which is so disappointing because I always loved it here. What's the point of a reservation system if you're just gonna give preference to new donors anyway? It's asinine.

Very professional and very nice. The woman who gave me physical was awesome very informative and very personable. Would definitely give this place a good review not for only helping others with the work to be able to provide lifesaving medicine for people who are in desperate need of donors. Thank you for all your help with humanity. Brandy Bentley

After taking a physical a week ago I was told to come in so they could tell me the results and I could donate. I drove there two different times today and have already waited five hours since being told to come in showed up once and was told to return at noon to find nothing has been done. Just now I have been told the doctor only comes in every two weeks to sign paperwork and I quote “She’ll get to it when she gets to it.” I won’t be donating here since there’s has been such poor sense customer service and mild sarcasm/rudeness. I’m wondering why they make donating such a hassle if they need people to donate it why they call them in to have them just stay in their lobby. I’ve wasted gas, time, and have been treated rudely. It seems pretty sad, but if a manager would like to email me I’d be happy to identify the staff members that acted so unprofessional.

Have drawn here many times and they have consistently shown total incompetence. Most recently they told me I can’t donate because the blood samples they took from me “got lost” I explained to them that they took two different samples (one two weeks ago and one two days prior!) they tell me they’ve both been lost and I would have to give ANOTHER sample to be sent off before I could donate again. That’s three samples total in three weeks. I refused. I would rather go to a donation center that isn’t so unorganized and inconsiderate. They disclose that if there are any problems they’ll contact you. They never did that. They allowed me to make an appointment, go through the entire intake process, and then when waiting to get hooked up for the draw, decided to tell me there was a problem (that they we’re responsible for) then. Complete lack of communication and courtesy of my time. Also important to note: There is one phlebotomist on the floor who has continuously blown veins out which caused serious pain during and after the draw and severe bruising afterwards. They still have him on the floor (I would always ask for another person to do my draw if he was out while I was donating) more training needs to be put into place before someone gets seriously hurt.

Expect one to two hour delays even after making an appointment. No bonuses, no rewards or anything like that, to at least make up for all that time. Although I donate willingly knowing what to possibly expect, I’ve been donating long enough to know Talecris, and this facility’s management can use better skills when it comes to compensation and wait times. Schedules should serve for that purpose.

Definitely my first and last time. I got there before my appointment and all waited over half hour just to be sent home cause I didn’t pass a quiz that seems pointless nobody didn’t tell me this my last time I donated I’ve been a member for over a year and last time I had a physical the lady gave me the answers I didn’t think it was that serious but definitely not wasting my time there anymore the other lady definitely let me go donate and all still this one was being dumb for no reason

The staff is always very nice and professional and they rarely keep you waiting. Their process is very streamlined and i have been very happy with how I have been treated here. However, they have been offering less and less the last few months and for someone who can usually only make a few donations a month, it is hardly worth it anymore. First they did away with the fun daily bonuses, then they stopped taking punch cards and honoring veteran bonuses (I am not a veteran, but that sucks), and now they have moved to a pay scale that gives significantly less per month, especially if you can only make a few donations. I am considering changing companies which is a shame because the staff is really great, but at this rate Talecris has made donating not worth the time.

Today was my first time donating plasma. I picked this facility because of their reviews compared to the others in the Springs. I am so pleased on how they all handled the entire process. They all work great together. I didn't have much wait time for any part of the process. I was only there for a total of 2 hours from start to finish. They were polite and very professional. The environment was cozy, and very clean. I felt comfortable the entire time. I will definitely be donating here again soon!

Ever since they changed the staff it takes forever to do anything. Overall the place reminds me of school. More people talking about their personal lives than actually doing their job. Your bed side manner means nothing if it takes you forever to do anything

The people at Talecris Plasma are great! They are very friendly and get the job done! I appreciate how at one point I wanted to use a different vein and they were willing to get someone that was more comfortable with rolling veins. I appreciated that a whole ton. Thank you!

Alright place to donate. If you are a regular donor you’ll either be greeted nicely or looked at sideways by the staff. It really depends on the person most of the staff are very respectful. But there’s one our two members of staff that like to gossip and talk about donors. Also if you see the staff nervous before they prick you, just ask if they’re comfortable pricking you. Don’t risk getting pricked twice or three times even just to donate..

They gave me a 20$ bonus card and then refused to honor it or do anything to make up for it. I can't back anyone who doesn't honor their word.

Great people who care about what they do. I've had a couple of bruises, but have been here probably 15 times by now. Great movie selection. Update: Probably won't ever go back. I was sent a postcard saying they would give a $40 bonus and then was told they weren't going to honor it when I arrived. Very, very, nearly false advertising except they do have a disclaimer.

I’ve always had a great experience here! I’ve donated plasma roughly 60 times at this location. The employees have always been very professional and friendly. Everything is extremely clean. It’s cool knowing you’re helping people, while making money on the side. Also, it’s nice that you can make an appointment at any time online or through an app, and since going in recently, you can do an express sign in so when you arrive for your appointment, you can donate quicker. I couldn’t recommend a better place to donate!

I have been to every plasma center here in Colorado Springs and by far this is the best one. Never a super long wait, pays the best, super friendly staff, TV to watch and the most flexible place to donate. Will continue to come here!

Great place to donate. Friendly, helpful and well trained staff. Did not have to wait long. Had a minor technical issue during the physical and was compensated extra money for the extra time and was given a card for extra money next time. The first time I went I had a issue with the donation and had to be stopped. There were clots or something. They made sure I was OK before leaving. They gave me another powerade plus the full compensation plus a little extra even though I wasn't able to donate. I had to be deferred for a few months but this time it went smoothly. Free wifi and movies on the tv.

Been coming here for about one year. This is the 3rd plasma center I have donated at in Colorado Springs and is THE ONLY ONE TO GO TO!! They are great: Kennedy, Luis and Rachel just to name a few of the awesome people there. If you are in need of some extra money or just want to help those who need medical aid: Go to Talecris!
