Marcel and Rome were truly the best guides on our train up to Pikes Peak, bike down! I can't say enough about the both of them. Extremely thorough with their instructions, very safe and the whole trip they had their eyes on my husband and daughter. Going over instructions multiple times, making us all feel very comfortable. Unfortunately, I did not feel well after the train ride up. I was on the bikes just a few minutes but felt unsteady and "foggy brained". Marcel was fantastic with giving me tips to handle the altitude issues, but ultimately I chose not to ride. My daughter and husband LOVED it. I followed in a van, plenty of stops for picture taking, a bathroom break about half way down and history galore! Marcel is very knowledgeable about the area, history, facts and we learned a lot! We met at 7:30 and finished about1:30 ish. Phenomenal day. I would absolutely book with this company again.

If you're up for one of the highest ranked zipline adventure in the US and happen to be in the Colorado Springs area, you really can't go wrong here. The 3 hour package starts in the forest and crosses a canyon, ending at Seven Falls (which is optional to hike directly afterwards). The folks running the show did an excellent job the entire way with a couple of newbies like us. Highly recommend, if you like speed, don't mind heights and want amazing views! Unforgettable! Note: we had an unusual foggy day for ours, even then it was fantastic. Recommend going in the morning and bringing hiking boots if you have them.

The Falconry Experience at the Broadmoor Outfitters in Colorado Springs. Thank you so much to Sarah and Roger, who hosted. It was an incredible experience. For anyone who loves birds of prey, has dreamed of doing Falconry, or if you're just interested in having a once in a life time experience, this is for you. Roger and Sarah were super knowledgeable. Getting to understand how Falconry works, how sophisticated the birds are, what it takes to take them hunting, all of it was really fascinating. Highly recommend!

We had a great time doing the Wilderness Experience. We had the opportunity to try archery, pellet guns and tomahawk throwing. Our Guides were Tathian and Rome. Both were fantastic! They made sure to keep us safe, but also kept us laughing the entire time. They were very knowledgeable about the area and shared some really interesting history that we didn’t know. They were extra attentive with my 6 year old son. This was definitely one of the best highlights of our vacation. Thanks for an awesome adventure!

Best way to end our trip. We accidentally booked zip lines on a different day than we showed up. Willie was amazing and rented us bikes instead. Best time ever. Highly recommend! The whole staff was awesome and the views on the bikes were phenomenal. Would go back again over and over!

My brother and I attended a Falconry Lesson this past weekend and the experience was truly amazing! I highly recommend to sign up for both the beginner and intermediate lesson for the full experience. Our Falconer was Roger. Roger has a true passion for the birds and for Falconry. These lessons provided an opportunity to learn, ask questions, and have an up close experience with owls, hawks and falcons found in Colorado. I will be booking another experience this year! Thank you Broadmoor Outfitters!

Best wildlife experience EVER. The trainer that led our group is amazing, she gave a really informative but also fun talk about birds of prey and falconry. Do you know how many common expressions we use every day that come from falconry or it's approximate 6000 year history? Super interesting. So we met various of her birds in the training room where they are housed, and she took several out one by one - owls (the most beautiful and amazing of all to me), peregrine falcon, etc - and they flew around amidst us. Just fantastic. Her talk on their history, how they're bred, trained, how to get into falconry etc was riveting. Then we were hauled off to their outdoor area about 15 minutes away from the Broadmoor to what used to be a Broadmoor golf course but due to land 'shifts' was no longer good for that use. That was a fun drive on it's own on private property. There she took out different birds and let them loose, 'luring' them back in various ways. At one point we formed a two sided line about 3' apart and she got the bird to fly right down the middle, his/her (?) wings touched my face. AMAZING! Then each person got to put on the glove and hold the bird, and even 'pet' its chest. She reminds you as the bird looks at you like a big piece of meat that you signed away your rights in their waiver form. Everyone in our group was thrilled by her presentation and the birds and all the knowledge we gained about this ancient sport. Best thing you could possibly do any time, any place.

All I can say is WOW! We had a beautiful day filled with the falconers knowledge and their passion for these amazing birds! The birds you meet are very special, ranging from Peregian Falcons to Harrier Hawks. They are just amazing, intelligent and almost acrobatic in flight. You get up close and personal with them! Then you head to the mountain and enjoy a Hawk Walk while they fly in their element. It is one of the most incredible thing we have ever done with wildlife!

We signed up for the combined beginner/intermediate Falconry lesson and had an absolutely incredible time. It was just the two of us on a gorgeous late February day. Deanna was our Falconer and we were thrilled to spend the morning with her learning so much about the history of Falconry as well as the birds themselves. I had no idea the variety of birds we'd get to spend time with as well as the details we'd learn about each and every one of them. This is not an experience most people have the opportunity to have and I would highly, highly recommend it. It's something we'll never forget and thankfully we have lots of video and pictures to relive it any time we want! I'd also like to give a special shoutout to Jake who gave us a warm welcome upon our arrival and started our day off with a smile and sharing how much he loves the Falconry program. It helped us be even more excited about what we were about to experience!

Surprised my husband for his birthday with the falconry lesson- it was an amazing experience! Such a unique thing to do. You could tell the knowledge and love that goes into the birds and sport. Thank you! We can’t wait to come back for the next lesson!

The Broadmoor hosts a falconry program! It's amazing and definitely worth the $ as it supports the birds and incredible bird educator, Roger Tucker. I surprised my husband for his birthday and took a couple of friends along. Getting to meet falcons and hawks and barn owls and great horned owls and then watching them fly-- it's such a great experience. We'll be back for the additional class. Thanks for a great memorable and educational time.

We booked the cog up bike down tour at Pikes Peak. Unfortunately our bike down the summit was canceled due to 60mph winds, which is apparently rare. However, I can say our guides Mick and Marcel were wonderful. Marcel was really enthusiastic, clearly loves his job, and was really looking forward to showing us the best of Pikes Peak. I was so disappointed we were unable to bike down. They refunded us for everything except the train ticket, which was very kind.

Beginning & Intermediate Falconry - a true life adventure. We have so few chances to interact with wildlife today & this is one of the best! Deanna Curtis has 24 yrs of falconry experience & is so talented & informative. They have various species of birds, all of which are magnificent.

I wanna be like Mike when I grow up. Mike was an excellent guide for us rock climbing in Garden of The God's. We booked the day before with Broadmoor Outfitters and they were able to get us in for the next day. 10/10 would definitely recommend!

Good group of people. Our guides took us to the Pikes Peak Cog Railway and we cycled down. A fantastic trip. Equipment was all in good working order.

Wow, this really gives you a lesson on falconry. I had an amazing experience today with our Falconer Roger who taught me all about falconry and the wild life of many birds. Beth also did a great job and I saw a black squirrel. Well worth the cost and an unforgettable experience.

Fins Zipline Course - Simply Amazing ! Kurt & Broadmoor Outfitters Team - 1st Class! Hard to find a better way to experience the beauty of Colorado Springs. Awesome scenery and exhilarating, progressive zips. The staff was patient, knowledgeable, and professional...and made the day perfect. ---this coming from someone who finds extreme heights to be "a bit challenging." Anyone looking for an experience to remember should start with Broadmoor Outfitters.
