Had a sleeve started in PA but had to put it on hold when I moved to Florida. Many thanks to Kurtis for having the artistic ability to tie what I already had together with a new section matching the theme perfectly. He was able to separate the main pieces whe tying the whole thing together into a cohesive piece. I will definitely return to Kurtis to finish the project. Very clean, well maintained shop and great atmosphere. Professionals all the way.

Mike tattooed me and he was outstanding! I had a portrait of my deceased cat and her paw prints done. He really captured her perfectly and exceeded my expectations. He is a fantastic, professional tattoo artist. The shop is clean and organized. I would definitely recommend this shop!

My rating is not connected with the quality of the work performed, since I had heard and read -- and continue to hear and read -- overwhelmingly positive comments here in Apollo Beach and Riverview about all of the artists there. And on my initial visit to inquire, I was greeted promptly and courteously at the front desk by a lady who looked at the design I had conceived, said it was a good match for three of the four artists (the fourth does not do mainly lettering jobs, which this largely was). She gave me the hourly rates of each of the artists, a very rough approximation of how long my job would take, and named one of those artists she said had some available time coming up. Another positive: the shop looked clean, quiet and well organized. So far, so good. Five-star material, and I hope those reading this review will see that. But then. . . I thought about it overnight, called the next day -- just a couple minutes after their noon opening -- got voice mail, identified myself, referenced the visit from the day before, named the artist with whom I wanted to schedule, left my number, and awaited a call back. And waited. And waited. More than a week, never received a call, and checked my own voice mail just to be sure. I'm sorry, but quality tattoo work or not, that's just not the way I was taught to do business. If something changed, at least call back and say what changed or why the match might not work -- don't just fail to return the call and keep the potential customer hanging. So I got my work five miles up the road. I really had chosen Mike Parsons Ink, but somehow it wasn't going to work.

Best tattoo shop in all Tampa Bay. Mike is a true professional, an amazing artist, and well experienced as a tattoo artist. I highly recommend him and his very talented staff to anyone and everyone whether it's your first or your 20th they will make it happen. For better more attentive service, call ahead and make an appointment as they are usually booked in advance for obvious reasons. Thank you Mike and your entire staff for your time, talent, and excellent service, my son and I really love our tattoos, I will recommend you and your team to everyone!

Derek R. Is rather awesome, has done the majority of my ink and I get compliment after compliment. Love the atmosphere and all the guys.

Extremely disappointed. Elijah came up with an idea to continue my sleeve tattoo. Sent him deposit and once the appt happened I did not like his work. I asked him prior to appt to see his work but he refused and said it would be ready the day of. He now refuses to give me my deposit back. I’d go somewhere else

Thank you for an amazing experience for my first two tattoos. This shop and the artists are talented, creative, welcoming, and an all around pleasure to be around. Derek and Gabriel did top notch work. The place is clean and Meranda keeps them all in line. :). Thanks again for a memorable experience and work I’m in love with.

Wish I could give Derek Raulerson more than 5 stars! I've worked with 6 Tampa Bay artists and probably another 6+ others around the Eastern US on various pieces and Derek is my go to guy now. He did 2 amazing pieces (one for my wife and one for me) and the guy has an amazing scope of artistry and ability to do different work. On top of that, he is a totally personable individual and doesn't have that "I don't really want to do your tattoo because it's not MY style" a$$hole attitude that so many tattoo artists have. We worked together to add to an on going half sleeve and I'm really looking forward to finishing it with Derek. He'll shoot straight with you because he wants to do good work and if something is feasible, like my initial idea was, he will explain why but offer solutions. Keep doing what you're doing Derek!

Got my forearm done by Matt Lang and had to get it covered up. Was supposed to be a realistic skull and mid way through he starts stretching the jawline into a 90’s new school type of design that looked like an apprentice did it. No prior discussion or anything just went ahead and started putting his own spin on it. Owner always had a pretentious vibe and him charging $250 an hour for mediocre work is robbery, look at his portfolio and tell me I’m lying lol. Way better artists charging way less, I know because I’ve gotten better tats since Matt almost ruined my arm lol

Came here with my sisters and loved it. The shop has a nice and easy setup, the crew is friendly and personable, and their work is great. We've made this our go-to shop.

Best tattoo experience I've ever had! (Been getting tattoos for 18 years now) Mike was professional and incredibly kind and did such an insanely awesome job on my arm. The details and line work are stunning. There is no other word for it, just STUNNING. I came to him with an idea for a memorial tattoo for my dogs and he gave me great design input and not once did he come across as pretentious or patronizing - both of which I have felt countless times in other tattoo shops. His work is worth every penny! You will not regret getting your next tattoo here.

I'm a huge Denver Broncos fan. 62 years young. My first and only tattoo of Broncos Emblem on my chest. It was done by Elijah and it's amazing.
