I have had many wonderful experiences with them over several years and would recommend them to anyone. My most recent experience just last week with Grace was amazing. So helpful and friendly. I brought in a necklace that had belonged to my daughter who has just passed away and it needed some repair. We picked out a new chain which was reasonably priced and I was told it might be 2-3 weeks as the jeweler was on vacation, which was fine with me. Grace messaged me the following day to say that it was ready and that Rick did the repair himself. I was delighted to have it so quickly and I was able to wear it the same day. I was referred to Charles Jewelers by a friend and I am so glad I went there. Eric was very professional and took his time to examine the repair and give me an estimate on the spot. The repair was done on schedule and within the estimate provided. I was also interested in some custom design jewelry and Eric took the time to show me what was available and also provided recommendations. Overall, I was very happy and highly recommend.

The store is very nice with a great selection. But the best part is the friendly staff. Rick is very knowledgeable and helped me figure out a redesign of my ring that is exactly what I want. We’ve used Charles Frederick Jewelers for nearly all of our jewelry needs, since our engagement almost 17 years ago. And prior to that, many gifts from my parents came from “Fred’s” (as we refer to it!). Their level of knowledge, professionalism, and care is unmatched. Charles Frederick Jewelers showed truly great customer service. I went in for a simple necklace repair and ring cleaning and was immediately greeted, I was told about the issue with my necklace in an easy to understand way (I do not know much about jewelry), and it was all done in about ten minutes (I was expecting a couple of days (keep in mind my cleaning and repair were very minor). I see why everyone gives such great reviews of CFJ and I will certainly be back for other more extensive repairs I need as well as to look at the items they have for sale (I did not have time today, but what I did see was really beautiful). Charles Frederick Jewelers has been a family favorite place to shop since at least 2009, to have items repaired and generally a wonderful place to stop in to say "Hi"! All of the folks who work there are friendly and knowledgeable. I recall the first visit when I noticed that all the jewelry had prices fully displayed. What a refreshing change from other places where I had to ask to see how much an item was! Most recently, I called the shop because I needed a replacement earring. (A good N95 is fantastic at removing earrings!) They were able to locate the original order file, and promptly filled an order for a single earring, then texted me when the item came in the shop. I don't live nearby, but my daughter does, so she could pick it up for me. Long story to say that Charles Frederick Jewelers is just a wonderful place to explore the jewelry on offer and enjoy friendly, knowledgeable owners and staff who absolutely go the extra mile for their customers.

I was looking for a local jeweler that did repairs onsite. Charles Frederick did a wonderful job resizing my gold ring for a very reasonable price and within a few days. The staff was great to work with and since then my family has purchased jewelry and had the same great experience.

I recently was given an old ring of my Grandmother's that was too big for me to wear and needed a little TLC. After consulting Google and asking around, I found Charles Frederick Jewelers and couldn't be happier that I did. From the moment I walked into the store on 4/20/22 I was greeted with personable, knowledgeable staff. The person I spoke to looked over the ring and explained what would need to be done, but in a "no pressure" way. When he came back with the quote for the resizing and repair I was shocked with how affordable it was. I had recently had another ring resized at a jeweler in the mall for $50 more (just a resizing!). I felt reassured with how professional he was and was told to give them 10 days and I'd receive a text when the ring was ready. A mere 7 days later, I received the text and went in to pick the ring up. It was gorgeous! They did a phenomenal job and I know my late Grandmother is smiling from ear to ear. Again, at pick up all of the staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful (even cleaning my wedding rings while I was there).
