First review I’ve written, it’s just that good! Incredible service and food at this local spot. Had Cajun and sushi and both were super delicious! After getting a big meal for three, the staff even offered us complimentary ice cream! Will definitely be back soon

This place was wonderful. The sushi was excellent - we had several rolls (salmon, tuna, etc.) and the tempera which was so fresh and crunchy. We eat sushi all the time in Toronto and this was so good and hit the spot. The owners were also so incredibly nice and accommodating as we had our bikes with us and no locks so they allowed us to bring them inside given it was outside lunch/dinner rush hours. Definitely a bike friendly business. Recommend for sure!

Delicious! Quality as good as anyplace in Manhattan, especially for the price. We dined in for dinner on a Tuesday and had the place to ourselves, one of the only situations where we'll dine in. Staff was masked, polite, and professional. We had tuna tartare (pictured), sweetheart roll (pictured) the yellowtail jalapeño appatizer, miso soup and seaweed salad. We will be back!

I’m fast becoming a regular at Ginza Sushi. Their sushi is as fresh and and delicious as you will find in any large city…NYC, LA, SF, Seatlle but a fraction of the price. High quality, well prepared, fresh, good portions with excellent rice. Miso soup is very good. The couple that run Ginza are delightful. Highly recommend.

I’ve eaten from the lunch specials and the seafood boils. The quality of the seafood is always fresh ! The size of the shrimps are large . The service is great !

I ordered take out from here a few weeks ago. They said they had opened only a week prior. Glad I stumbled upon them bc the food was absolutely delicious and fresh! I ordered the seafood boil - crab legs, shrimp, sausage, potatoes and corn. I chose the garlic butter flavor but there were a bunch of different flavors and I'd definitely like to try the others at some point.

Dining here is an absolute pleasure! The sea food plate and unagi don are yummy! Come and check out this new bar in town!

I picked up takeout late one night. I saw the good reviews and they held true. Upon walking in I noticed how clean the space was and how pleasant the staff/owners are. The quality of the food was excellent. This will be my go to sushi spot!

I was impressed by the food and we tried several rolls, sashimi and teriyaki snapper (along with miso soup of course). This is a quality operation and I know sushi.

Placed an order for delivery, came promptly and was soooo good. Portions were very nice and fish was super fresh! Definitely one of the best sushi places in Poughkeepsie. Staff are incredibly sweet and helpful. I will definitely order again!

i love this place. freshest sushi in the area and opened late! although i haven’t eaten-in yet, every time i’ve picked up my order it is ready on time and food is prepared with such care and attention to quality! everyone working there is so kind too and i really just love this business. :’)

Really fresh sushi with excellent service and prices. I’ve eaten here twice, once for their lunch special and once to get takeout. The restaurant is very clean inside. I would recommend the salmon mango roll and eel avocado roll in particular but look forward to trying others. Thanks for a great meal and service both times—will definitely be back!

This is my first time in Poughkeepsie and it turns out nothing is open on Sunday. This place is a ghost town! There is literally no where to go except this Japanese restaurant on the Main Street. Well, it was completely empty when we walked in, so we were worried, but it is AMAZING. How is the food so good? The sushi rolls were the freshest I’ve had since being in Vancouver, and each dish we had felt better than the last. The wait staff are friendly, and everything was reasonably priced. If I ever come back to Poughkeepsie, I’m coming here because I think the sushi is better than that in NYC.

Stopped by to have my favorite sushi- salmon and octopus sashimi. Both were delicious and well presented. The atmosphere was very calm and soothing with employees diligent to provide you with a top-teir service. Would highly reccomend coming for some good sushi that dosen't try too hard to reinvent the wheel. And free ice cream on the house to round it out!! 🖤👍

Great seafood and value. Went on Saturday for lunch. Sushi was good. This will now be my pit stop traveling from NYC to upstate.

Unfortunately, the salmon teriyaki was dry, the beef yaki udon didn't taste like anything and was slimy, and the spicy mayo almost tasted like medicine. Miso soup was very good though, as were the fried shumai.

We were in town for a wedding and stopped in here because it was close to the hotel. We are lucky it was because the food was amazing. We had fried dumplings, seaweed salad, sushi, spring rolls, and chicken. They even gave our son free ice cream which he absolutely loved and talked about all night.
