I find it mostly racist, pure n ugly. CASE IN POINT= I am a pale complected Cajun. The place was empty, I needed a mailing address. I very politely waited, and waited and..well ya'll get the whole taco dinner... the whole time, being ignored as other street denizens were able to do the Exact thing I was trying to do.While being called white boy in a sneering way. 3hrs later, I still had not been called. No fewer than 8 others had come in.been given a mail ticket,n left So I left as well, angry and humiliated. So that's my story, y'all do as y'all do. And with that, Be good,or Be good at it.😉

These people try. I will admit that and only that . Can and should they try harder. Yes . Whenever i go there i get in and get out. No lollygagging they can be rude and unprofessional. And that is on there good says . I have them 3 stars to give them the benefit of a doubt. They are helping the homeless after all. ( or so they say) I will say one more thing in there defense. They have a new guy named Terry doing the mail there and that is one department that is running alot smoother. I believe because of him..

11.10.22-was told it was disrespectful to make noise during one of their meetings that they choose to hold in the only cafeteria room they have, even though they have 5 other rooms that were all empty at the time & was called a "sh¡t talker" when asked why none of the other rooms can be used & was given the response of "that's how it is, bring your own microwave if you want to use one." they closed early today-sign on door said 2, but at 1:17, i was being asked to leave because they're "getting ready to close." suppose it might take 43 minutes to shut down, but seriously doubtful. was also asked to wear a mask by someone that was not wearing a mask? seems the place needs better guidance. for a place that says they offer mental health services, they sure do take a LOT of days off unannounced...like today june 20th. update:8/26 lunchroom is "closed" for no discernible reason. why offer services if the services aren't being offered?? including the renovated courtyard, they have 5 spaces available for activities/meetings, yet they usually occupy the dining area for them, which restricts drink & food access for no reason other than laziness on scheduling.

The services and staff used to be great, now it's shady, the mail is piled up outside the building and unable to get your mail no one is there it's closed with no information or signs posted as to what's going on this is turning into a mental health issue for me I hope this is temporary at least have some distribute the mail one a week I know there is time sensitive mail from the County of Alameda that needs to be addressed like EBT please figure something out
