Saltwater only. Amazing selection of Corals, inverts, & Fish! Fish are quarantined for 2weeks minimum. There is equipment and additives available (Carbon,gfo,fish food (frozen and dry) and much more! Staff is very knowledgeable and would help you out in anyway possible. There are some amazing display tanks everyone should stop by and check out, even if you don't have a tank or don't want to buy anything. Highly recommend checking out those display tanks!

Kenny has one of the cleanest and most interesting saltwater aquarium stores out there! Quarantined and healthy fish mean you never have to worry about bringing home a diseased fish. Plus all the lectures and events are really well done.

This will be my new go to local fish store. All the fish and corals look awesome and healthy. And they quarantine all their fish! I'm one of those dummies that doesn't quarantine... and it finally bit me in the butt, I wish I knew of high tide aquatics a few months ago. The display tanks are amazing, plus there is a couch up front so the family can relax while I spend way to much time chatting or trying to figure out which corals I want to get. Kenny is super knowledgeable and took the time to help me work through a problem I've been having.

Ken, the owner At High Tide Aquatics, Is the only place in the entire Bay area. Who everybody should be buying salt water fish from? He does proper Fish Quarantine and has a very good selection of healthy fish and coral 🪸. He is very knowledgeable and helpful. Thanks Ken.

Kenny is knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Super patient with explaining what things are/how to do something, and doesn't try to sell you anything you don't need. You can tell he truly cares about the livestock in his store, and the hobby as a whole. Always enjoy a trip here!

What Kenny has built with High Tide is really rad. Healthy corals, quarantined fish, and a focus on fostering access to quality info and community by hosting some really cool talks. Nice to find a shop that's run by somebody who has clearly been around in this hobby and industry long enough to understand that pairing things down to what works reliably is the way to go (feed your corals, they have mouths!, investing time or money in fish quarantine will save you a lot in the long run!, don't arbitrarily chase numbers unless you really know why you're doing it!). Can't recommend this place enough.

One of the best reef/saltwater store in the bay! High quality livestock and you can see them in action. It also has a family friendly atmosphere as you enter the store. I look forward to be going here more often and more dry goods in the near future so I can support local than buying online

Nice seating area up front for family members while they wait. Kenny showed me his quarantine area for fish, nice to know all fish are quarantined and eating before being put up for sale. Nice little coral area that is only going to grow as the shop grows. Definitely coming back, especially since he carries Reef Blueprint products and everything looks great!

I have visited many other reef stores nearby and I do believe this store exceeds in many aspects such as fish, equipment, and quality. I see myself as a regular customer.

This saltwater aquarium store is one of the best i have ever seen. All the fish are quarantine and that means no ich in your tank. Ken was really friendly and let my daughter feed some of his fish on one of the display tanks. I would gladly drive from livermore to high tide aquatics for all of my fish and coral supply.

I rarely ever write reviews, but this store is seriously the real deal. I've been here several times now, and I've never seen such healthy, happy fish and corals. Kenny is a master of his craft, and also just a really helpful, patient, and chill guy. The moment you step in his store, it is instantly obvious the deep care and respect he has for these saltwater animals. And it is also clear how much he cares about the hobby and everyone in it. When I first visited and told Kenny I had just set up a tank, he even offered me a little bit of pre-seeded biological filter media from his tank, to help jumpstart my tank. It was a small gesture, but still something he did not need to do at all. Truly thoughtful and incredible service. The cherry on top is that even with top notch livestock (and supplies), Kenny is fair with his prices. When you add in the fact that he also fully quarantines all of his fish, I know I can shop here with complete confidence. Simply amazing. I highly recommend a visit to this store whether you are new to saltwater, ultra-experienced, or simply are curious to see some beautiful animals. I've probably been to all of the aquarium stores in the bay, and this is hands-down the best.

Well put together saltwater fish & coral shop. Good husbandry practices here with 2 week+ fish quarantine. They're healthy and eating when they hit the sales tanks. Frozen or refrigerated foods along with some dry goods and trusted supplements, treatments etc. One of the best shops in the SF Bay Area.
