My daughter started here about a month ago and loves it! The teachers are great with the children. They are humorous and continually encourage the children through positive reinforcement. Classes are so much fun that time flies by quickly for the children. With earning stripes, my daughter is motivated to learn and looks forward to each class. Whenever she earns a new stripe, her self esteem is boosted. It’s a such a wonderful feeling as a parent, when you see your child smiling from ear to ear and proud of what they are accomplishing. I highly recommend.

We heard about this facility through a friend and finally got the chance to first trial it for free and decide if it was a good for our son. The attention to detail to ensure he was comfortable and enjoying the session was especially appreciated. Now, he wants to go everyday and we are not opposed. It’s a great place to turn off tech and activate physical ability.

My 4yo son has been coming here for a few months now and it has been a great experience! They are so welcoming and made us feel comfortable from the moment we walked in the door. All the instructors have awesome energy and are great with the kids. We were looking for a place that would give my son some structure, and help out with his behavioral issues and even in the short time we’ve been here I can see a difference! He is motivated to come here, he gets excited every time we pull into the parking lot, and I love watching him flourish! Thank you Master Kwak and Master Arthur!

My son and daughter have been taking Taekwondo class here, and I only wish that we had found this place sooner. The instructors are amazing. The place is obviously very well run and maintained. My kids are not only learning the physical aspect of taekwondo but more importantly they are learning self discipline and respect for themselves and others. Highly recommended!

One of the best martial arts schools in the area! My 5 year old loves it. The instructors are fun and encourage discipline, respect while teaching perfect form in Taekwondo. I can't imagine any other school I'd rather have him join. Master kwak is the best at what he delivers in both practice and overall experience.

My kids love going to Taekwondo classes, thanks to all the Masters and Instructors. They are very professional and friendly. The classes are the perfect blend of fun and discipline. I highly recommend this center.

We just started with our 6 year old son July 2022 and wish we started earlier. Every lesson is fun for everyone with the instructors providing plenty of entertainment while teaching the kids. The steady progression of belt colors and stripes encourage our son to work harder and proudly display his accomplishments - a first for him. The instructors themselves are phenomenal - I have witnessed then master the delicate balance of being fun yet also firm when needed. This is all the more remarkable when you consider the young ages of the instructors many of whom, if not all, were former students. That, in and of itself, is a testament to the quality of training and the satisfaction of the parents. The owner, Master Kwak, is clearly focused on the education and development of the children and not the money. If you consider the hours of instruction provided, the rates are very competitive. I hope our son will one day become an instructor here. If so, he will definitely become an excellent parent someday-probably better then me.

Master Kwak and his team are amazing. Two classes in, my son Billy never wants to leave. The atmosphere, the staff and most of all the kids are very welcoming. A great future ahead for my son.

A friend recommended this place, and I am very happy I listened. I have 3 boys in the program since January. All 3 are in class at the same time. All levels are at the same time with one instructor and broken down in smaller groups based on age and ability. Junior instructors are phenomenal and work individually with kids who need it. The instructors know how to approach each child to their own individual needs and tailor the instruction to that child. Outside of school, we have noticed improvement in each child’s behavior and attitude. And to top that the parent can workout in the back at the same time. I. Greatly recommend the UTC school.

Master Kwak and Master Arthur are two of the most phenomenal martial arts teachers you can find. They teach so much more than forms and sparring, you also have learn how to collaborate with others, build a sense of community, and gain a sense of self discipline and respect. Through this, you can forge lifelong friendships. UTC has served as a foundation for my life and I am happy that my nearly 3 year old son is following in my footsteps under the same wonderful instructors I had. I would without hesitation recommend this wonderful establishment to anyone near or far, old or young— there’s something for everyone!

I feel so lucky that my vague internet search for a martial arts school for my son led us to Master Kwak’s Ultimate Taekwondo. It’s a wonderful place. Everyone is warm and welcoming and the teachers are amazing with the kids - firm and with high expectations, but also caring and funny and they make everything fun. I’m amazed by how they manage big groups of kids of different ages and skills and of how they consistently work on less tangible but important things, like gaining confidence and building perserverance. It’s a big bonus that Master Kwak runs workouts for adults in parallel with the classes for kids, so I can get a workout at the same time as my son. This is a wonderful place all around.

My son joined the UTC last summer. From the beginning it has been a wonderful experience. He loves attending the daily classes where he always gets an opportunity to learn and try something new. I'm so pleased to see him being so proud of himself every time he earns a stripe. Besides the fact that it is a great workout that gives him a sense of accomplishment, it is a lot of fun. The instructors are wonderful. They are not only skillful and talented in the teakwondo practice but also very personable and connect very well with the children. It feels very good to see your child being a part of their group. I recommend the UTC in Lake Grove to every parent who would like to gift their kids with something that goes beyond physical fitness. The sense of discipline, accomplishment, being a part of the group is why I signed my son for teakwondo at UTC in Lake Grove.

Great experience with ultimate Taekwondo martial arts and master Kwak. Definitely bring your kids there if you want them to have a sense of self-esteem, knowledge of self-defense and heightened mental and physical well being.

Great Taekwondo class and offers many options for children and adults. Master Kwak offers great way for my son in positive mindset, discipline and learning Martial Arts. I believe in current times this is a great option for preparing my son for his future.
