I wish I found them earlier in my pregnancy! I've been switching doctors couple times throughout my pregnancy because I feel like I don't resonates with the way they handle things. Most of doctors nowadays treated pregnancy as if it's a disease, I just don't feel comfortable going to hospital. They make me nervous. Like, there's something wrong with me and they just gonna tell you to take a bunch of test without even bother to explain or educate you of why is it essential, all they gonna tell you is that you gonna need this and that, that's all. I always believe that pregnancy and giving birth are a natural process. And I believe that my body was designed for that journey. So I started looking for an alternative to have a birth experience the way I desired and to avoid having unnecessary medical interventions if possible. I found birth nest to be the ideal place, and I was right. I was 32 weeks pregnant when I finally found Pam, Zabrina and their team. I like the way they educate me and my husband, they took time to explain a lot of topics and to get to know us, they gave us options and laid out reasons and consequences regarding what is necessary and let us decide on our own whether or not we agree with certain procedures or tests. Pam and Zabrina take a good care of me during my last trimester, and I had Zabrina helped me with my delivery. I was worried at first because my baby was measuring big, and during labor I was stuck between 7 to 8 cm dilation. After about 6 hours, my labor didn't show any progress and Zabrina decided that I had to move to the bed, because apparently the water didn't help that much. As soon as I moved to the bed and changing position couple times my water finally broke, and within an hour I started having the urge to push. Baby was stuck in the birth canal but thank God for Zabrina, she was quick and got my baby out within seconds without any injuries. I am so grateful for these people, they know what they're doing and they do it passionately. They only wanted the best for you and your baby, and I knew I was in the right hand. I would also thank Jada and Anastasia for their help and care during labor. Jada is my favorite, she's very sweet and attentive to my needs after the delivery. Their team is a top notch 💯 I would recommend this place for anybody who wants a more personal experience, and not feeling restricted by all formalities.

My experience at the Birth Nest from pregnancy and labor to post partum has been excellent. I really felt listened to at each appointment. Whenever I needed anything done as far documentation, there was no issue getting it. I didn't feel judged about anything. They explained things to me that a OB and nurse usually don't explain thoroughly and gave me the proper knowledge I needed for me to make informed decisions. My water birth was everything I wanted and more. My husband felt comfortable at the Birth Nest as well. Our toddlers enjoyed going to appointments and being included in the experience. They also have a toy area there that was nice to keep them occupied at times. The process at the Birth Nest is simple and it's easy to get in contact with someone when needed. As a black women, I felt safe and taken care of at the Birth Nest. They ask for your consent before doing things and don't try to intimidate you when chosing one way or the other. Nothing is forced upon you. I also liked that it didn't feel too formal, I got to know each midwife. Deidra at the front desk is awesome and always helpful. They are a great team. If anyone asks me, The birth Nest at Caitlin Court is the place to be! I could say a lot more positive things about this special place but this post would be entirely too long.

This place is very warm and welcoming. I spent a lot of my appointments with Pam. She is very knowledgeable and super friendly. I did not achieve my natural birth. I decided to transfer to a hospital while in labor. The conversation I had with a midwife during labor. I felt like it was a sales pitch more than a conversation. I don't know how much it affected my decision. I likely would have gone to the hospital either way. I paid in full and after subtracting the amount billed to my insurance I should get a small portion back. The last notes in my file stated they charged the highest amount possible for my visits. I assume this was an attempt to use up what I had already paid. It’s been 2 month. I still have yet to receive anything.

The Birth Nest is simply amazing. Everyone here takes a special interest in making you feel safe, valued, informed, and comfortable. This is a space that truly feels like home. I have had two births with Pamela and Micha, and they are always people I want in my corner. I feel I have the best support and love for my family and myself throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

I’m SO thankful my naturopath recommended the Birth Nest to me when I got pregnant. They took incredible care of me and my baby, and I would choose them again in a heartbeat. I never felt rushed or in the dark about my care, my body, or my baby. It was incredibly empowering to go through my pregnancy under their care because the whole time they kept reminding me “your body was made to do this.” Even postpartum, they were more helpful, kind, and resourceful than the pediatrician and the lactation consultants I saw. I still call them for advice and I know they’ll always be there for me. I recommend them to every single momma or want-to-be momma I come across.

The midwives are great! I gave birth with my two girls here at the birth nest and loved both experiences! I love how I never felt afraid to ask questions, but rather encouraged to. It’s so good to feel empowered especially during prenatal, birth and postpartum care!

My experience with the BirthNest was amazing. All throughout the pregnancy every appointment was given the time with no rush to fully educate you on the process and answer your questions. The staff was always there to help with any billing questions and respond quickly to filing test results and making you feel at home. I loved the entire experience.

I am not being dramatic when I share that Pam and Zabrina and their team at the Birth Nest changed my life. I was so wildly picky choosing the team that would be so deeply involved in what would be the hardest day(s) of my life. When I toured the Birth Nest and met the midwives, it felt like home. Through the entirety of my pregnancy, I was treated like the most important person they’d seen that day. They were available when I had questions (even after hours), invested in myself and my family, and supported our healthcare decisions (after providing all education available). I didn’t know care could be so individualized, loving, and supportive. I felt empowered by their education, calmed by their peaceful hearts, and encouraged by their cheers as I labored and birthed our son. When I look back at the day my son was born, I smile remembering the support and kindness and teamwork that happened there. The women at the Birth Nest have become a part of our family, and I look forward to being in their care again when it’s time to grow our family.

The women that work here are Earth angels. They are powerhouses of knowledge, wisdom, comfort, and consideration towards their patients. They always have a recommendation or remedy for any symptom you might be experiencing, and very purposely craft relationships with their patients during appointments. There’s an enormous difference between working with these women, and shuffling in and out of a standard OBGYN practice. If you’re considering a home birth, or a birth at the birth nest, but have questions, and/or are unsure if you’re capable of stepping out of a “normal” birthing environment (hospital, doctors office etc) I implore you to have a walk through here and ask as many questions as possible. My heart is full of gratitude for the care I received here, enormous thank you to Pam, Zabrina, Deidra, Giuliana, and India.

I couldn't have chose a better place for my prenatal and overall care during my pregnancy and birth, especially with it being my first baby. The staff here is amazing and makes you feel so comfortable from the moment you meet them and the facility itself is super welcoming and clean.

The care and knowledge from Pam Qualls is amazing and her presence is so reassuring!! All the ladies in the birth nest at catlin court are so great through out the 9 months of care up to the home birth. I am so grateful to Pam and Micha for the wonderful birthing experience and care into the evening and the next few days of checking up on me and baby.

I had such a comfortable and enjoyable pregnancy, birth, and postpartum recovery with them! I was recommended them by a colleague and it was the best. I went from having a regrettable hospital birth to a home center birth and felt like like I was listened to so much more here with the midwives!

My first pregnancy I went through an OB and had a hospital birth that I just can’t say I was satisfied with the outcome and treatment during my pregnancy. My second pregnancy I decided to go with a midwife and I found the Birth Nest ♥️ I’m currently 34 weeks pregnant and have received the best care from the WHOLE staff. That is so hard to come by nowadays. Everyone here genuinely loves their job and it reflects when I go into the office for my appointments. I can’t wait to have my home birth with the assistance of Pam or Zabrina! ♥️

The ladies at The Birth Nest are top notch! I’ve had both of my babies under their care- my first at home and my second at the nest. As soon as you walk in, you can tell that everyone loves what they do. The two main midwives, Pam and Zabrina, are so knowledgeable, passionate, and caring! I met my doula Micha during my prenatal visits, and am convinced that she is one of the best doulas in Phoenix! The atmosphere is very comfortable and inviting. I am constantly recommending the Nest to all of my friends and family who are looking for comprehensive prenatal, birth, and postpartum care with the best team in the valley.

This place is absolutely incredible. I’m so blessed to have found them for my first pregnancy and birth. I actually did not know I wanted a homebirth at first but now I wouldn’t have it any other way. They took great care of me and my baby. I wish every mom got to experience the level of care I received here, because I know most don’t.
