I highly recommend using Heartbeat midwifery. I first met these sweet ladies when I needed some lactation help. Later when I was pregnant again, I went back to them for my prenatal and birth. They are all very knowledgeable and friendly. Towards the end of my pregnancy, I had some weird issues arise and they helped me to work through them. My birth experience was wonderful and I would definitely use them again if I were to have any more babies. Even my husband had a great experience and felt welcomed at all times. Very family friendly environment!

To start off, heartbeat is beyond amazing, there are truly no words! We are blessed to have found them in our first pregnancy, after hearing all kinds of hospital horror stories. There is nothing they could have possibly done better. Our story: we decided on heartbeat midwifery after looking at their website for our first pregnancy, unfortunately we didn’t even get to get into our first appointment before we lost the baby, but heartbeat was with us throughout the loss. They made us feel comfortable to still ask for anything we needed and we had never even met them! A few months later and we were pregnant again, finally getting to meet them in our first appointment with our daughter who is now 6 weeks old. Every appointment, they listened, they provided answers and solutions to any problem we had, they never made us feel rushed, and they truly care about the health of you and your baby! When it was go time, at midnight, we gave them a call at 2 and 4 in the morning before we headed to the birth center, even through the middle of the night they answered our calls and were there for us without complaint. The birth went so smooth, anything we needed, we asked, it was there. We gave birth to a healthy baby girl, and got to go home less than 4 hours after she was born. Plus, as if they don’t do enough, postpartum care was immeasurably valuable in the help of taking care of our baby! Since they are also lactation consultants we got the help and support we needed to be able to breastfeed our baby, which we had no idea was so beneficial until we went through heartbeat either. Me and my husband both can’t say enough good things about them!! Graduating from heartbeat midwifery was the definition of bittersweet!

My family and I absolutely love the ladies (and gentleman) at Heartbeat Midwifery. We just had our second delivery at their birthing center, and I cannot say enough good things. Their new location is calming, equipped, and in a wonderfully convenient and peaceful location. My toddler loved the playroom. Carmen and her team from the beginning have been gentle, honest, empowering, and incredibly knowledgeable. They would welcome the whole family, and even had toys in the exam room. I always had access to someone, even in the wee hours. Amber and Agatha were confident in their instruction during the delivery and were an amazing team, and I had a beautiful experience for the second time. I didn’t know how much I needed these lovely people, but I am sooo thankful to have them in my corner. I can’t imagine a birthing experience without them. I can’t begin to explain the difference we had going to a place like Heartbeat Midwifery. I 1000% recommend their care, which has been phenomenal all the way through! They are so gentle, calming, and extremely knowledgeable. Carmen and Courtney were the best midwives! Carmen knew exactly what I needed for my labor to progress. My baby had a little trouble getting breathing when he was born and I wasn’t worried for a single second. They were so calm and these women know exactly what they’re doing. I loved that we were able to go home the same day! They were there for us even outside of our scheduled appointments for whatever we needed with care, resources, and beyond. They provided exceptional medical care, but also emotional support at every step of the way, even beyond our 6 weeks postpartum. Our baby’s start to life and our fourth trimester experience was night and day compared to our first hospital birth. Don’t even think about it, just do yourself a favor and deliver at Heartbeat!!!

We had an amazing experience at Heartbeat. From the first appointment of my pregnancy I felt safe and at peace. They always made sure that I was heard and confident about the birth process, helping and encouraging me every time I came to see them while also making sure we were both safe, which allowed me to have the best birth I could’ve asked for. So thankful for everyone at Heartbeat!

Heartbeat Midwifery is an unbelievably amazing place for pregnancy, L & D and post pregnancy care. It is a place for a birth how you want and not feeling like just another patient. Your needs and your baby’s needs come first always! I had an incredible birthing experience with an birth team that blew me and my husband away. The midwives were so helpful, so hands-on and knowledgeable through the whole process, I feel so lucky to have had my daughter with them. She is thriving now and I believe it is because of the great start the midwives and Heartbeat have given her. They are just so caring and with her, me and my husband, breastfeeding and making sure we feel comfortable. It is so nice being able to reach them 24/7 and having appointments that feel like visits. I have recommended every woman I know that is in this stage in life to Heartbeat. The care is unbeatable. The staff is unbeatable. The whole experience is positive and exciting. It’s an incredible feeling to feel so loved and taken care if by these amazing women.

I can’t say enough good things about Heartbeat Midwifery and the fabulous ladies that work there. I just had my second baby and my experience was just as amazing as my first. The type of care that is received from prenatal, labor and delivery, to postpartum is phenomenal. If you desire a different birthing experience, I highly recommend Heartbeat, you won’t be disappointed.

I’m a bit late with my review, we delivered our sweet girl in May, but there aren’t adequate words to describe how wonderful our experience was. I’ve delivered 3 babies, all in different settings, and our experience with this group of midwives was such a breath of fresh air. Our wishes were heard and honored at every opportunity. Our sweet baby had her own plan for delivery and ended up arriving at home. The midwives were quick to arrive, so encouraging during the delivery, attentive during the postpartum, and just so endearing throughout. It was honestly difficult to say goodbye at our final visit, every appointment just felt like spending time with dear friends. I would highly recommend their services, especially if you desire a birth outside the “norm.” We love ya big Heartbeat!

The care I received here from my very first appointment to birth and postpartum visits was better than I could have imagined. Heartbeat gave me a place to feel safe and confident when birthing, the midwives are full of so much knowledge and kindness. I could not have asked for a better experience. If you’re even thinking about checking them out, I would without a doubt recommend them.

We received fantastic care from Heartbeat from the very beginning to six weeks after birth. I felt so supported, informed, and safe with every midwife or student there! My first birthing experience was incredible, and I was so thankful my husband could be a part. Amber and Kaegan were the midwives helping, and were absolutely amazing! They guided me through everything with patience and care, and my family is so incredibly thankful for these two ladies!! I’m SO glad we found this place, and I hope to come to them again for my next baby.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars! We had our second baby at Heartbeat after having our first in the hospital. I cannot recommend these women and their care enough. From start to finish the services we received were fantastic. Prenatal, L&D, and postpartum care was calm and joy filled. Carmen and Shiane are amazing midwives, and their students are so knowledgeable and helpful! They all guided us through a more holistic and positive approach to pregnancy and labor & delivery. Everyone is so professional, kind, and compassionate. We truly cannot say enough good things about Heartbeat Midwifery! They are the best of the best!

Heartbeat is such an amazing and peaceful place! Carmen and Amber such an amazing midwives. They have so much knowledge and wisdom, I always come away with my questions answered plus more info! I am so thankful to have been able to have my baby girl at Heartbeat. Amber was amazing throughout the whole delivery. She was so calm and helped me with different positions for labor. I will definitely be going back when I have another baby! Heartbeat is more than just midwives, they become family.

My birth experience and overall experience was wonderful I even learned some holistic remedies for self care that worked better than any medication to manage my pregnancy symptoms!! Not to mention the birthing center and suites are absolutely beautiful!! When I came time for the big moment Shiane and Amy were a great help and respected all of my wants which is wonderful because I promise the hospital won't!! I loved it so much I wish I would have done it sooner with my previous children!! Your are able to do amazing things and Heartbeat is the best support to have!! We had the best natural birth at the heartbeat birth center. Our first birth experience ended in a hospital birth. The whole experience with heartbeats was different in the best way. Beyond what we thought it could be. During pregnancy, we built a relationship with each midwife and student midwife during our visits. Our concerns were validated and heard. The ability to call or text helped ease my mind and heart so much. Implementing spinning babies made such a difference with the end of pregnancy and birth. I really appreciated that they do them at each visit. We learned or noticed something we could improve on each time. I felt so prepared and excited for birth this time. Our time at the birth center was short but so sweet and perfect. All in all, care start to end was amazing. The experience support me to build trust in myself- my mind, body and soul. ❣️

I love the ladies at Heartbeat! Everyone of them are wonderful. I'm so thankful Carmen had this beautiful birthing center available when it was time for my Valentines baby to make her appearance. I had an amazing experience at Heartbeat! As a former L&D nurse, I went into this experience with many anxieties but the midwives were always so reassuring. They helped me to trust my body and instincts throughout the whole journey. I was always seen on time for my prenatal appointments and they were 30+ minutes long. I felt listened to and my medical decisions were respected. My birth experience was even better than I could have imagined. For postpartum care, I saw the midwives multiple times over the course of 6 weeks and even got breastfeeding support via text message. The staff is super friendly and helpful and their birth center is beautiful. If you are on the fence, I highly recommend booking a consultation and tour of their birth center. You won’t regret it!! Could not recommend Heartbeat enough to anyone who is expecting. We were so well cared for during our entire pregnancy and postpartum time. All of the midwives are so well educated and do a great job of educating parents. As a first time mom I had no idea what was happening or what my body needed to do and everyone at my birth was so calm and encouraging. I felt safe and supported and was able to welcome my baby into the world the way I wanted. Can’t thank the ladies at Heartbeat enough!

We had an awesome experience throughout our time with Heartbeat from prenatal to birth to postnatal care. At every appointment we were given the gift of time- to voice concerns to discuss options and to ask questions. Our boys went to several appointments with us and enjoyed being included in listening to the baby’s heartbeat and playing with the toys that were provided. We loved how peaceful the center was from the secretary to each midwife we encountered. I also enjoyed being able to text my concerns in between appointments and having a midwife get back to me without having to come in to the office. The facility is beautiful and has a homey feel that made our birth and after care that much more comfortable. We loved having the freedom to make informed, judgment-free decisions in advance concerning our baby and birth. Before I knew about birthing naturally I never would’ve dreamed that I would be able to catch my own little girl but they made it a sweet reality for me. I’ve experienced birth in the hospital and out and my husband and I can’t express enough how much we prefer having a midwife. If you’re able to, it’s 1000% worth it.

We had an amazing experience with Heartbeat Midwifery. We chose an out of hospital birth for our fifth child and it was by far the best birth experience we’ve had. All the midwives were wonderful and they were interested in the overall health of mom and baby during the pregnancy and after. They truly care about each and every client and take the time to listen to any questions or concerns. I never felt rushed through any of my appointments. We loved our experience with Heartbeat! We always felt loved and respected with each appointment. This was our third baby and our first time to not use a hospital. We felt the recovery was so much better and we very much enjoyed the fact that we were home a few hours after our baby was born. We feel so fortunate to have been blessed by their love. We will be praying that God continues to bless their ministry.

I transferred into Carmen’s care in my third trimester. She was attentive and helpful. All the midwives were wonderful throughout my prenatal care. Appointments were thorough. The environment is very family friendly. My husband and older daughter were welcome and included in prenatal appointments. My birth at the birth center was night and day from my previous hospital birth. I felt supported, heard, and encouraged. Even though my birth center birth was longer than my hospital birth, it was infinitely easier and more preferable. I will absolutely use Heartbeat Midwifery again should I have more children.

Definitely recommend Heartbeat! Thankful for everyone on the Heartbeat team! I felt so supported and cared for throughout my pregnancy, birth and postpartum! Amber and Emily were there for our birth, and they were great! They were the definition of “calm”, which is exactly what we needed when things didn’t go as we would have hoped. They took very good care of us, and also of our sweet boy when we had to go to the hospital soon after his birth. Carmen came as soon as she could too, and she showed us the way to the hospital, and didn’t just hand us over and leave, she stayed and showed such care! I felt the love of Christ in her kindness! Can’t say thank you enough!!

My husband and I were able to have our 4th baby at Heartbeat Midwifery and it was an excellent experience. We felt cared for and empowered during pregnancy, birth, and recovery. The midwives are all extremely knowledgeable, calm, and kind. We had such confidence in their skills that it removed at a lot of anxiety going into labor. Our birth was slightly different than what we planned for, but it was everything we could have hoped for. We highly recommend using Carmen and her team.

We experienced the best care here at Heartbeat! The competence and the care of our midwife (and all the midwives) was beyond what I could have hoped for. After 3 hospital births, my fourth at the birth center was by far the smoothest experience. The leadership of these women bolstered my confidence, their peace helped me settle into my own peace during labor, and the experience was so far from medical- it was truly a natural process! Amazing prenatal care with spinning babies. I felt better in the last few weeks of pregnancy than any other time I was pregnant because of this program. My 3 kids were included and brought in on the journey, getting to use the Doppler machine, having baby brother’s foot prints stamped on their arms, playing with other kids during appointments. I cannot recommend Heartbeat enough!
