๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ In my time of need, I was devastated and Glenn and Nichole were the perfect people there. They were very sympathetic, caring and understanding, and I could not have thought to have two better people assist me when I needed it most. Thank you again to both of you. My family and I had wonderful experience with Kays-Ponger & Uselton Funeral Home in Port Charlotte, FL. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and kind. Nadia helped my father a great deal during this difficult time. He just lost his wife of 68 years and without Nadiaโ€™s help, I am not sure he could have made it through the process. She was instrumental in coordinating all parts of my motherโ€™s funeral - visitation, visitation service, church service, burial. I want to highlight that the staff did an especially phenomenal job with the visitation, taking the time and making the effort to personalize the entire room around my mother and all things that were important to her. I would highly recommend this funeral home.

Jeffrey was great, all the information I needed for the pre-planning. Made the process simple, easy payment options and a lot lower cost than the other home I've dealt with previously.

Upon the death of my beloved wife, Glenn was instrumental and very accommodating so my family can to fly down. Kays-Ponger was very empathetic and supportive of our families wishes during this very difficult time. The information was precise and accurate . I was shown as my family was also shown a great deal of respect. When the time came to pick up my wife's ashes, that process was very respectful and very thoughtful. I would highly recommend Kay's - Ponger funeral home to take care of your loved one.

My husband and I pre-planned our cremation several years ago. Everything has handled quickly and efficiently. Staff is vary knowledgeable. When I needed to pre-plan for my mother, I didn't hesitate to use Kays-Ponger and Uselton for her. When she passed, the funeral home took care of all the details. They were very responsive and respectful and kept me informed every step of the way. In this very stressful situation, I didn't have to worry about the details. I am glad that we chose them for her and also for ourselves. I know that they will make things less stressful for our children when we pass.

Our father passed away a couple weeks ago and he had pre-arranged services at the Port Charlotte location from years ago. When we met to plan the funeral, we expected someone to try to sell us an upgrade or something, but that was not the case at all. Glenn P. (funeral director) was the most gracious, courteous and absolutely amazing funeral director we could ever have had. He gave us our options went over my fathers plan, did not try to up-sell us anything and handled every aspect of my father's funeral with dignity and respect as we requested. It was a beautiful service thanks to Glenn. Everything was completed timely and efficiently along with advice on who might need death certificates and the calls we needed to make immediately as opposed to things that can wait a bit. He was absolutely amazing and if I could give a 10 star review I would!

When my father passed my aunt suggested this funeral home and Iโ€™m so glad she did. The staff were so kind, patient and so compassionate. They made us feel like family. I really appreciate all of Glens help as well. He was extremely thorough and took his time with us. He was truly a blessing in our time of sorrow.

Glen and Nadeen are absolutely wonderful. They explained the entire process to us very well and with so much compassion. They made the celebration of life for my dad a truly memorable experience. The decorations were so well thought out, the food and drinks were delicious and the video presentation was outstanding. This is hands down the best funeral home and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Not happy at all. My mother had prepaid funeral contract. They change the prices to todayโ€™s rates and adjusted the amounts so they would not have to give me a larger refund. Talked to Nadia and she said it was reflected in the trust allowance. Which I did the math (former bookkeeper) all my life, and it does not add up. $600.00 to go pick up death certificates. RIP OFF BULLSH-T. Why bother with prepaying for funeral expenses if they are going to change prices to todayโ€™s prices?

Nadia Hurt and her fellow staff were very professional and kind. Despite the struggles there Port Charlotte facility was having with the impact of Hurricane Ian, our family was kept up to date with the process. They took the time to answer our questions no matter when we asked, day or night or weekend. They took great care with our loved one and went above and beyond to make sure their cremains were delivered to our family.

I recently went through the most difficult time in my life, the loss of my son. I had never been in this situation before, so I was completely lost. Nadia helped me through the process every step of the way, she never let go of my hand. Nadia explained all my options and then made sure they were all done. Since my son died out of state, Nadia made all the arrangements with her funeral home here and also in New Jersey. Nadia provided me with her knowledge, guidance, understanding, kindness, support, patience, and compassion! Nadia is my angel and I am deeply grateful to her. She is wonderful and I would highly recommend Nadiaโ€™s Services. -Vicki LaRezza

My siblings and I found your staff's professionalism and caring demeanor so calming following our mother's sudden demise. Also your staff worked together to provide a timely response to our needs considering we, being out of state. only had a week to take care of our mother and hold a funeral and reception.I would recommend your services to everyone.

Sarah was my Funeral Director for my Mother's Funeral. We had to fly my Mom from Philadelphia to Florida so she could be laid to rest with my Dad. I had absolutely no idea what I was doing and Sarah took care of everything. She also took care of everything in Florida. My Mom had pre-planned her Funeral in 2019 so it was a little easier but I wouldn't have been able to get things done in time without her. This is the 3rd time we have used them and I would recommend them highly!!!!

I am very glad that we choose them. Glenn worked with us and got everything put together just the way we wanted. He helped and informed us of happenings every step of the way. Very caring and understanding. Will be working with Nadine for other things. They set up everything from the room as to what he liked thru his life, food and set up for Military service. Took everything in there capable hands to help us thru his death. Definitely would recommend them

In our time of sorrow they respectively guided us along the choices we had to make. We chose a celebration of life service. We really had no idea what to expect except that it would not be like all of the other tradional funerals I have gone to in the past. They really nailed it. They nailed it

This was our first experience in preparing for a funeral for a loved one and Kays-Ponger's staff was instrumental in providing all the relevant information needed and also gave options from which to choose.

Caring professional staff. The funeral home has been serving families for more than 100 years. And a funeral planned here is honored at 1900 Dignity Memorial locations!

My mother died in April of 2020. We were unable to get together for anything for her, but K-P&U we're always available to us by phone and to my father in person. My dad passed Feb 2021 and K-P&U not only helped us with everything, they have us information so that we could include my mother in many of the things she did not have when she passed. Wonderful to have knowledge, kind people to help us.

My experience with Kays-Ponger & Uselton Funeral Home has been very pleasant, everyone I dealt with was very knowledgeable and friendly, but I do wish to elaborate on my dealings with both Debra and Fred. My mom passed away, and she ha prearrangements all ready set in place, Debra was great in taking all info and doing all the paperwork, Fred who did the work on my mom did an excellent job for the viewing, my mom was sick for 10 years and her last last really took her looks away, but with Fred's experience, he made her look beautiful. Every step that I had to do with these two funeral directions went smoothly, which at a time like this is what you want. They handled everything, with care and class. I am very happy that this facility took care of my mom. Thank you all so much.

My wife and I were very pleased with the overall service and facilities provided by Kays, Ponger & Uselton. In particular, Sarah was extremely helpful and accommodating. She produced a beautiful video montage of my father-in-law using the photographs we provided. Moreover, she showed tremendous grace and patience as different family members continuously emailed her photos to be added to the video. Also, even after the funeral, she accepted corrections to my father-in-lawโ€™s obituary and made the requested changes promptly and without complaint.
