This petting zoo was wonderful. The amount of animals available to pet is perfect for their time slots (1 hour). You have enough time to play with each animal and even go back through to visit some of your favorites. The animals are well behaved and very friendly. The owner and worker are super sweet and knowledgeable. And it’s extremely affordable. Definitely will make this a regular place to visit.

We hosted our daughters First birthday party here and had the absolute best experience! The staff went above and beyond to help us and were so polite! You can tell the animals are very well taken care of and are so loved! The party area was clean and organize. We fell in love with all of the animals ( especially Fonzi!) and cant wait to come back

This place is magical!! We had the pleasure of going to a birthday party and it was so much fun! What stood out the most was how kind and helpful the staff were and how clean and organized the whole place was. Not all petting zoos can be called clean but Buckaroo’s really is and that made the experience all the better. Our son was a bit nervous at first but the staff and animals were all so sweet that he was comfortable in no time! We will be back! Thanks so much!

We had an enjoyable time and the staff were great! Feels a bit expensive to have to pay admission for adults and children though when parents are really just there to chaperone and not participate. Plus with the cost of the add-ons to feed the animals, it adds up quickly. This experience was gifted to us, but I probably wouldn’t pay for it myself.

Nice little petting zoo, we were the first customer 09/25/21. Wear old clothes, the goats will nibble on your shirt if you run out of food. Fun for all ages.

This was the best petting zoo I have ever been to! My 2.5 year old son was in heaven... climbing on a playground with goats, brushing cows, feeding sheep and playing ball with an alpaca. What a wonderful facility! The 2 young women managing it are just amazing -- they answered all of my questions and couldn't have been nicer. The barn (and bathrooms!) are amazingly clean. I can't recommend this enough for a fun family activity!

This place is absolutely amazing! Quaint letting go zoo, well-organized with breath taking unobstructed mountain views. The warm, friendly, and patient staff knows exactly how to make you feel welcome and excited about meeting each animal - don't snooze on the Vietnamese potbelly pigs!! Nature took her time guiding us through scratching each animal where they love it, gently correcting us and teaching us about each one.

MJ, my two year old, absolutely loved it! She cried when it was time to leave and hasn't stopped talking about it since. We will be back soon and often. The price was fair, the staff kind and helpful, and the animals were obviously the star of the show. Thanks for providing a place like this for my daughter to grow her love of animals. See you soon.

Lil' Buckaroo's is the most amazing place! We took our preschool families for a field trip and it was so perfect! Morgan was wonderful to work with and made the process so easy. The petting zoo was quite an experience! The farm was clean, and beautiful. The animals were happy, friendly, and very good with the children. I was amazed that we got to spend time with each type of animal, pet them, learn about them, and then spend time with our favorite ones. I was also impressed with the variety of animals and the ways we were able to interact with them. Morgan was great with the children. She was patient and did well explaining and teaching according to the children's age and attention. I highly recommend this to families or anyone looking for a field trip or tour.

My Grandson loved the place. Perfect for young children to get introduced and to get close them. The curators are knowlegable and super nice! Your child will learn and enjoy it guarenteed!

This is an excellent petting zoo with a nice variety of animals and helpful staff! Petting zoos in general are child-oriented, but this one at least is fun for everybody. Entry was 15$ per person and treats to feed the animals were extra: $3.50 for a handful of the goat/sheep/pony treats and a little less for cow or chicken specific treats. You get in for an hour, and you can spend it with whichever animals you want in any order. Each type of animal has their own gated area, so your party can spend time with the animals you like while the other groups are elsewhere. All of the animals were friendly, though the giant rabbits seem to be lethargic until the evening. Expect to get your clothes chewed by goats and your shoes to have some poop on them by the end.

Such a well run petting zoo! It’s clean, the animals are cared for, the staff are friendly and helpful. A wonderful way to spend an afternoon. My daughter is 19 months old and had the time of her life. It’s definitely good for kids of all ages.

Beautiful little place. We stopped on our way cross country this was one of many. It was very clean and the staff friendly as well as all the animals well cared for and pens were clean for the children to enter. The reason for 3 stars was the cost. 2 of us (me and a 2yr old) paid almost 40 bux for the visit and 2 cups of food. The only area you got to go was the main barn so not much for a toddler after seeing all the animals. All in all the place was great tho so worth the visit if you don't mind the price. Just for a contrast the last and biggest place we went to was free for her and 5 for me with milk bottles for a buck to feed the kids (baby goats for city folk πŸ˜†) while others were less than 20 for the 2 of us total.

This was a great hidden gem that we found. This place is great for all ages and lots of animals. This is a must of you are in or around Erie.

Great staff, willing to share their knowledge with the children. At a level they could understand.

I feel so lucky to live in Erie and live so close to Lil Buckaroos! We took my 3 year old here and had an amazing time. There were only a few other groups in the barn which was heated (very welcome on a cold day!) and the variety of animals was great. The staff is so friendly and helpful and shared lots of fun information, and they clearly take good care of their animals. My daughter especially loved getting to brush the cows and pet the alpacas. We will definitely be back!

We had such a fun time! The animals are all super friendly and it was such fun going in to visit all of them. We've been trying to find a good petting zoo and are so glad we found this spot. We'll definitely be going back soon!
