I very rarely give 2 star reviews but here it goes. The only reason we are giving this place a 2 star review is because of the service. Here are the details on the service - we did not get the welcome choux pastry while all the remaining tables and customers got it. - once we placed our drinks order, our server kinda forget about us and did not get our drink orders for about 10 mins - once we finished our drinks, we waited for about 10 mins before our server even noticed that we wanted to order more drinks - it definitely felt like we were ignored over customers that ordered the tasting menu - additionally the server did not give us the details on the specials and on the tasting menu - I think the problem was probably with our server and not the other servers. More about the food: FYI- the food is excellent - the leeks were amazing!! A must order item - I ordered the wagyu steak and it was incredible. I got the green peppercorn sauce and it was incredible - my wife got the mussels and they were great as well - we each got two glasses of wine. The restaurant has a great wine collection!! - we would have ordered dessert but our server was actively ignoring us - so we decided to pay our check and leave The restaurant: - beautiful property!! Love the decor and the minimalism!!

Really delicious meal. LOVED the Dover sole special and desserts were kinda perfect. The escargot risotto was certainly unique—I loved that I got to taste the snails and not have them be drowned in butter like other places and had a lovely greenness to it, like a forest (see photo) I do wish I tried the chef’s tasting menu too because there’s not a lot of variety on the menu that sets it apart, initially, from other restaurants. That said, in the flavor department, I thought LPC delivered.

Chef Julien Asseo knocked it out of the park! Dining at Les Petites Canailles was the highlight meal of our time in Paso. If we lived there, THIS would quickly become our place. From start to finish everything was well orchestrated from the moment we walked into the door. Nicky walked us through the menu and took care of us from start to finish with finesse and ease. Andrew was an amazing sommier who delivered and suggested amazing options to pair with dinner and dessert, not to mention he listened to what our preferences were and tailored the experience with enthusiasm which was infectious. Everything we ordered was mouth watering and elevated but in a very approachable setting. We had pork with polenta which was melt in your mouth goodness as well as the hangar steak with peppercorn sauce. Let us not fail to mention the mashed potatoes which are equal parts butter to potato ratio that - well - are more than delish. To finish the meal we indulged in the creme brulee and the chocolate mousse. Equally exquisite and delightful. Les Petites Canailles is a special place with a higher than 5 star experience. Magnificent!

Don’t miss if you’re in Paso Robles. Authentic and fresh French restaurant in center of the town. Run by locals. Very large wine list, knowledgeable sommeliers. Lovely servers. Ask for ‘bougie’ tots (served sprinkled with caviar). We had frisée salad, tarte flambé, tartare, fish of the day - black cod, waygu hangar steak.

This place was amazing!! Service was Micheline star standard! Glasses were checked, smelled then served. Crumbs were cleaned after each service from the table. We did 5 course dinner, and it was amazing experience. Seriously if you’re in Paso, must try this place.

A hidden gem in downtown Paso. Great service and exceptional menu choices. Loved the Escargot Risotto and Apple Rose Tart paired with an apple cider based small drink. Very unique 👌

Best steak tartare I’ve ever had. We skipped drinks but next time we certainly will have to partake. Their pork chop was incredible- sou vide to lock in flavors and then grilled. It was very well executed. The pasta with wild chanterelles was delicious. The team is knowledgeable and executed everything perfectly, can’t wait to return!

Wonderful dinner & experience. We did the “trust us” menu and it did not disappoint. The cuisine is modern French. Dishes were creative yet approachable, perfectly seasoned, delicious overall. Squid ink gnocchi with shrimp/shrimp broth was a wow. Wine service was exceptional and we got to meet chef Julien— such a talented chef (His resume includes a 10 year stint at Guy Savoy Vegas)! Totally deserves the Michelin cred. One of my most memorable meals during our visit - definitely “must do” if you’re in Paso, so if you’re wondering if you should get a reservation, just do it!!!

I rarely give restaurants a full 5 stars. But this one earned it! Phenomenal experience for dinner. Service was quick, professional and very knowledgeable. The food was all delicious but my favorite had to be the Tasmanian Waygu. Easily some of the best steak in the world. Everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly.

Our second time in two weeks since we enjoyed LPC, as the locals call it, so much. The service is impeccable and welcoming with everyone excited we were back. It almost felt like a reunion! Julian’s food is delectable, especially the leak and the flatbread with cheese and lardons appetizers, and the monkfish and fillet of Dover sole entrees were also fabulous. Thank you Ryan, Kirby and Carla for your great service. And a special thanks to a super sommelier, Alex, who recommended exquisite wine pairings for our á La carte meals.

Great, great service from Ryan. We started with caviar that was served with delicious potato chips, however, they slightly overpowered the caviar and the crème fraiche tasted like ranch dressing. The tarte flambée was very delicious with succulent chunks of pork and a nice flavor of thyme. My wife did the beef cheek and I did the porchetta and both were delicious. The beef cheek was incredibly tender but could have used more acidity. The Joël Robuchon pommes had a great texture but needed more salt. It is still quite loud and a bit hectic in the dining room but the chef is amazing and definitely upping the game in Paso.

Les Petites Canailles is the best restaurant we visited during our time in Paso Robles. Every single dish we tried was delicious, from the Beef Cheek Burguignon to the Spanish Octopus and of course, desserts. The service was friendly and knowledgeable.

Our family loved this meal. The steak tartare was one we'd love to order again. The halibut was excellent. Service very attentive.

Good new French restaurant in Paso Robles with great service and food. There is an ample wine selection that is 50 pages long with wines from $45 to $6800 and from most the world's wine growing regions. You are very likely to find a wine of your liking from this selection. I chose a fixed menu option which had both seafood and pasta options. We were celebrating a birthday and they brought a delicious apple and pear tart with cream topping and 🕯at end for desert. Service is very attentive and they check in regularly and top off drinks and clear tables. Portions are on the small side and that was only issue with me. I wish they had offered to warm the bread and butter but perhaps that is not something they do. Overall good place to visit for special occasions or French food in town.

This place was recommended to us as they found an opening in the reservations and told us we should grab it if we can as it's usually booked. I'm so glad we did as it was one of the best dinners I've ever had. First, the atmosphere just feels like everyone is happy and having a great time. The service is exceptional with the staff being extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Then the food...you just want to order everything and it's all awesome. The special flounder dish was cooked to perfection. I'm definitely going back when I'm in town.

Best restaurant in Paso Robles by far. While others try to position themselves as fine dining options that could rival napa's offering, LPC is already there, both in terms of food and service. Our waiter is knowledgeable and friendly, while being professional. Sommelier was also friendly and offered additional info about wine selections. Had the pork chop and braised ribs for dinner, both are delicious. Pork chop was grilled just right to the perfect doneness, and the ribs is rich and tender. Had the pistachio cream Paris brest and out reminded us of how much we like pistachio flavor. Definitely recommends LPC for anyone visiting Paso Robles.

We had the Tasting Menu and we were not disappointed. We appreciate each plate of the menu. The Morro Bay oyster was delightful. We don’t remember the name of our waitress but the service was great. We highly recommend the place.

We decided to do the "trust us" chef's tasting menu and we are so glad that we did! The food was really delicious and the staff were incredibly attentive.

The octopus appetizer was unique & delicious & our favorite part of the meal, the Branzino was tasty, my husband had the pork on the menu - loved the sauce. Our server Nick was excellent!

Amazing food and wine plus experience. My family and I had a reservation on a busy Sunday night, thank God we did book it beforehand. The hostess and servers and waiters are super nice and friendly. The sommelier was also very 🙂 nice. The food and drink themselves worth 5 stars. We had a bottle of merlot which was delightful. Hanger steaks were so tender and juicy. Monk fish and branzino were phenomenal!!! Love the baby turnips. Steak tartare was the best I've ever tasted, not gamey, but flavorful and smooth. The only down side was the frites, they were a bit soggy, but the positivity from the other food outshined the bad fries. Will definitely come back. I'd recommend everyone to try this once or twice, I'll come back to try another wine bottle from their selections. Lovely experience!!!!

Very good food. At much lower price than similar restaurants in Napa. Accommodating: we requested a change in their "Trust Us" prix fixe menu and got a replacement dish that we preferred.

Very nice French restaurant with great service and food. I highly recommend the Spanish octopus appetizer and the SRF Gold American Wagyu NY Strip 12oz with Joël Robuchon pomme purée (mashed potatoes). I can’t stop thinking about the steak and potatoes. My wife had the branzino (fish) which was amazing. The restaurant prides themselves in great service and we got dessert on the house because we waited a little too long for their liking. The mousse au chocolat was smooth and creamy and the best I’ve ever had. The place is quite expensive, but it’s worth it.

Fantastic dishes and awesome services. We ordered the chef butcher’s menu including the wagyu beef, fish, pork tomahawk, and the octopus as the appetite. Every single dish are amazing. (The octopus and wagyu beef are must order in my opinion.) We are celebrating a friend’s birthday here, the waiter is very sweet who gave us a dessert with candle for free. The chef also send us a free side. Would love to come back again.
