If you Don't have an Appointment that's Scheduled 3 months out, till you can See your Doctor. They won't even Look at you as a genuine Human Being in Pain, Suffering they Will Not give you Any Service & Tell you to go to the Hospital/911. Afterwards they Will Not Pay the Hospital Bills they are Required to Pay!! Their Service Wasn't Available, unless you're In some Waiting line/list. Now you're Indebted with Hospital Bill's when you're Supposed to Have Free Health Care. WELL I fired them, Terminating their Services and now I only go to Seattle Hospital for my Healthcare 30 Miles away cause they are incompetent inefficient and just taking up space and wasting oxygen. I even have a Grand Mal Seizure in front of two doctors and they just Stood there. I was told after I came to and did NOTHING BUT Watch me Suffer!!!

They took care of my husband quickly and efficiently. They listened to us and got him into a walk in for another appt, labs and x-rays. All that within 2 hours.

I was very impressed over how nice the folks who work here were. Even two Police men offered to give me a mask without me even asking. Nice grounds too.

So far, the VA has helped me think better due to counseling. They help keep my system under control with the proper meds and prosthetics. They helped me not pass out by installing a pacemaker. And they saved my life when I had cancer. While no system is perfect, the American Lake VA has been a great help in keeping me alive and active. I caught this poster today. If you need a service dog, contact them.

The va is the worst place to ever be seen for health care period. Between constant changing of appointments and or doctors period is enough not to go. then add docs not showing up to appointments or appoitnemts only being scheduled for doctores convinces. I haven't seen a mental health provider in almost a year because clearly there is no thought outside of numbers being filled. πŸ‘πŸ»

Not much wait time. VA very helpful. Care is very good. What I. Don't like is waiting on the phone , sometimes for an Hour to speak to someone. This a problem for many Veterans. I recently had a Stroke, in the last 2 days have spent approx. 5 hours on hold, very frustrating. Overall ,besides that. Once you get to see the right care giver, care is very good. Though sometimes frustrating. I commend all care givers for their service.

We were picking up prescription close to 5pm. There was a lot of parking space available. The pharmacy was actually pretty empty as well, we waited about five minutes before getting meds.

Husband had to go in for some blood work that his Primary Doctor wanted. He has a new Doctor and so far we are very pleased with her. Today was picking up meds for a infection.

Absolutely no communication. Five primary care providers in five months. I happened to be one of the puppies that was picked by providers, and they leave for brighter pastures. Except for the one they seem to have removed from contact with patients, promote and move to Olympia, or Lacy in a office. AATW!

Feel lucky to be alive. Grateful for the excellent care i receive at VA Puget Sound. Would've succumbed to wounds long ago if not for the care by everyone here.

I mean if you reach out telling them your in a bad place an need care, plan a two month wait. On top of that plan to speak with 10-15 people in an attempt to get an appointment. Your far better off seeking private consultations at online clinics. As this place will make you pay mentally for just trying to get help.

Will do what they can to get you out of their building. I didn't give a 1 because I haven't seen anyone set themselves on fire in the parking lot, so I know there are worse

A thoroughly disappointing and depressing place. Beautiful scenery, but morale among the employees is virtually nonexistent.
