Party of four. All blown away. We had soup, main course and dessert and everything was outstanding. Delicious from the first bite to the last. A must visit location in Cape Coral! Very nice owners. Thank you! We will definitely be back.

As part of our Vacation, my Mother and I promised to try different cuisines. Gulyas Factory was an eye opening experience in Hungarian food. For my first time trying some of these foods, the schnitzel was fantastic and even the mixed vegetables were given the proper attention to pull you deeper into the flavors of the dish. The fine pastas they have are a farshot from my Italian heritage but nonetheless changed my thoughts on what constitutes a quality pasta dish. If I find myself in the area again, I must come back for more!

Let me start by saying this restaurant was delightfully wonderful! When you walk in, you feel as if you are transported to a restaurant in Europe. The overall aesthetic and sense of heritage are perfect. The staff makes you feel welcome and they are attentive to your needs. We had a lovely conversation during our visit. The food is FRESH and DELICIOUS. You can taste and see the attention to detail they use when crafting their cuisine. We loved their appreciation for the art of cooking as well as their overall presentation of the dishes. I'd highly suggest trying their Beef Gulyas or Weiner Schnitzel. We will be back again! (and again!)

[Take-out review] Honestly, I've never been to Hungary.i found this place while searching for German food in the area. We got takeout, which is not the most authentic way to experience this food, but it's a start. The Vampire Defense Garlic cream soup is amazing. We also tried the pork gulyas and szegediner gulyas and you can't even imagine how it hit the spot. WARN8NG* You're gonna want to take a nap after you eat. Thank you Bernadette for the hospitality. We'll definitely be back soon!

We had the stuffed peppers to start and they were very tasty and light. The feta cheese was delicious! We split a gulyas soup. Its a large bowl for 2. I had the weiner schnitzel, so good. The service was special and very friendly. Potato salad was a hit look forward to coming back. Crepes with vanilla ice cream and cappuccino to finish. Nap time.

Worth a detour! What a pleasant surprise to find excellent food paired with hospitality. We dropped in for an en route coffee (which was really good) and got a chat with the charming owner on top. The menu sounded so lovely and so we decided to come back for dinner. It was so worth it! We had delightfully flavoured goulash (spicy but not too much), a big salad (nice variety and fresh) and couldn’t resist a pancake for dessert. Definitely a place to go when you’re in the area!

I came here having never tried Hungarian food. Admittedly I was skeptical as to if I would like the cuisine. Nevertheless I completely cleaned my plate. The flavors were nothing like anything I’ve experienced in my recent memory. Unfortunately I live in Manhattan so I won’t be able to make it back anytime soon. This easily competes with the best restaurants in Manhattan. If you live anywhere near this restaurant, make the trip here. You won’t regret it.

Everything was awesome. Our server was pleasant, kind and helpful (also one of the owners). The food was delicious and the house chardonnay tasty. We will return for more of the great ambience the place offers as well as the top-notch service and food.

Atmosphere was super welcoming; the cafe is very cute and informal. We were greeted right away by the owner, who offered us water even though we were just getting take-out, and she was happy to explain the menu to us. We had the garnished bread (HIGHLY recommend! It was delicious and I would go back for that alone), and were served that in the restaurant while we waited for our takeout order. The “wait” was maybe ten to fifteen minutes, which gave us time to look around at the art for sale. We got the wiener schnitzel and it was HUGE, easily fed both of us with an extra side of truly delicious homemade spaetzle and mushroom sauce. (We’re already planning a second trip there soon to check out their breakfast!)

My wife and I ended up here randomly and decided to give it a try. We were greeted by a woman who I assume is the owner, and she was terrific. We had never eaten Hungarian food before and had a lot of questions. The owner took the time to explain to us the dishes and how they were prepared, showing us pictures and patiently answering any questions we had. As for the food, quite simply, we loved it. It was delicious and high quality. We are very glad we stumbled upon this place. We will absolutely be back. This is a must try for anyone in Cape Coral

This was our 1st time eating at the Gulyas Factory but certainly not our last. The food was amazing and the staff were so welcoming and friendly. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. If you haven’t eaten here I highly suggest you check it out. Thank you for the warm welcome, the introduction to your dinner entrees and for making us feel welcomed.

I’m in love with Gulyas! Since we weren’t familiar with Hungarian food, the wonderful server personally walked us through every item on the menu so we could make the best choice. It’s Hungarian/Austrian. We chose the soup of the day and the Wiener schnitzel with potato salad. The best schnitzel I’ve had hands down. The cook came out to describe the soup special to us and to make sure we loved what we ordered. I can’t wait to try more from this menu! If you’re looking for something made from scratch by a little European lady in the kitchen, this place is for you.

Excellent authentic Hungarian food. The garlic soup and cherry soup are so tasty, and the wiener schnitzel with mushroom gravy and spietzel will take you to Eastern Europe. Interesting decor.

Great food. Great personal service. We tried so many things and everything was really delicious - pretzel, farmers salad, chicken schnitzel, croquettes, beef goulash, spaetzle and crepe w jam. They will have a wine bar area, Amy’s wine house (after their dog Amy) opening soon. Looking forward to trying that also.
