The store clerk helped prescribe me the perfect pair of shoes. And he was very welcoming and patient.

My friend and I went in looking for new shoes and to be fitted. Brandon, Tad, and Aiden worked with us and they were WONDERFUL. The fitting was so easy and eye opening. They answered all of our questions and provided information about different socks, tools, and inserts we could use based on our physical makeup. They were respectful and didn't pressure us to buy things. As an obese woman, I get anxious about any sort of fitting. They made me feel welcome and accepted. I highly recommend them for any body type.

My girlfriend went with me while I got fitted for shoes. A great fitting experience! They look at all different parts of you foot and ankles and bring out many different shoes that are a good fit for you. My girlfriend was so impressed with the process that she ended up getting fitted and buying new shoes as well! We highly recommend Fitness Sports to get you stepping right! We will be back!

I’ve been dealing with severe inflammation in my heel for several months, and been very frustrated with the process of figuring out what helped with my pain (custom insoles, heel cups etc) and when I went here I actually feel confident that the shoes, insoles, and socks I got are going to help with my recovery. the people in this store were INCREDIBLE and knowledgeable. If I could rate them 10/10 I would.

As someone who loves running and walking, I've dealt with nagging foot pain for a while. I needed new shoes, but I didn't want to settle for just any store, so I set out to find a place that really knows about taking care of feet, not just your typical sports store. When I walked in, the staff there were incredibly welcoming right from the start. They didn't just suggest some shoes; they actually gave my feet a thorough examination and figured out what was causing my foot pain. Then, they recommended shoes that could help. Trevor (and the team) had an impressive knowledge of their stuff, and you could tell they were genuinely excited to help me find the perfect shoes for my unique needs. I can't wait to get back to all my favorite activities without foot pain holding me back. I'll definitely be coming back in the future!

My friend and I went to the Fitness Sports in Coralville based on the recommendations of our physical therapist. Aiden, Brandon, and Tad were great, attentive, listened to our needs. Helped us individually. Did sizing. Tried different types of shoes to see what would be best for our foot types and specific requirements. They were talkative and personable. Answered our questions, gave advice about insoles/socks/ shoes/sandals. They weren't pushy and Aiden even looked up/is trying to get a specific sandal that will fit my foot best. Definitely recommend them. I had no plans to buy shoes and was doing to price elsewhere. But after the personalized fitting and interactions with the staff, I purchased two pairs of shoes and will definitely go back for the sandals if they can get them in!! They were welcoming and accepting and it was greatly appreciated!!👏👏

I highly recommend letting these people help with your feet and or walking problems by fitting you with correct shoes. Very knowledgeable and helpful. They did a few things to check my feet and my gait and worked with me until we came up with a good fit for my problem. I am very happy with my purchase and so are my feet!

I needed a good pair of shoes due to being on my feet all shift during work. The guys were super knowledgeable and helpful. They were extremely helpful with finding a pair of shoes with a good arch support and cushioning. I tried on several different pairs until finding the right pair. Highly recommend them. Your feet will thank you.

So it 100% depends on who helps you. In January, working with the owner, I was impressed and grateful. She was thorough, kind, and gave me lots of ideas and support. But they don’t make my shoe any more—so back to the starting line. Today (June 24, 2022), I had a sales person (a young man who was supposedly training another girl) who didn’t have time for me despite the store having no other customers. I had to push him for everything I wanted: re-assess my gait, give me options, talk about what shoe structure works, etc. He never measured me. At one point he even said “that would require me to get a different pair of shoes from the back.” Yeah. So…That’s your job, right? I am very disappointed. When I mentioned that I am an avid walker, he said, “well if you actually walk as much as you say you do…” By what measure is he deciding I don’t?

Our Feet Fleet did not have 13s let alone my 16EE...so we visited these college kids!

We had to run in quickly, and they were super helpful and had good selection, and they were sensitive to our need to get in and out fast.

When it comes to getting fitted for the right shoes the staff knows what they are doing. They measure your feet for size as well as arch, take video of your gait while walking/running on a treadmill then me suggestion on shoes based on the information they get from that. It was the first time in a long time that I've felt confident that I had the right pair of shoes for me when I walked out the door.

Went there today as my son has shin splints and I was told to help he needs new insoles/arch support. This isn't something I can just pick out myself and wanted someone to really pay attention to his feet and his shoes and help us get the right fit. The lady who helped us was efficient and VERY knowledgeable. She guided us through with ease. They even have tread mills or will let you run the block to be sure! Amazing experience!

We had a perfect experience. Erica was amazing. We were immediately welcomed with a cheerful greeting and began to describe the condition that causes ankle pain for our daughter. Erica was already familiar with it and quickly gathered several appropriate options. She systematically worked through the selection and identified the appropriate inserts resulting in the most comfortable shoes our daughter has ever had. We were in and out in less than fifteen minutes. We had a perfect experience and Erica is amazing.

Fantastic experience. Lindsay helped me pick out a fantastic pair of shoes in a color I loved. I also picked up a pair of insoles to help with my high arch to make my shoes even more comfortable. (Never knew I had a high arch) Great selection and knowledgable advice. I'll definitely come back in the future.

Edit: 4 months later and I no longer have back pain and knee pain that makes me unable to stand by the end of the day. These sneakers are amazing, Lindsay is the best, fitness sports should be everyone's destination for sneakers. Crazy good. I have terrible feet with a lot of complications and it is very difficult for me to find good shoes. Lindsay took measurements, watched me walk, asked me questions, did a scan and basically gave me a prescription for the right shoes. She had me try several pairs until we found the right ones and they felt amazing! She suggested that I try them with an insert and I initially said no but did try them when she explained the reason. I swear to god, my eyes rolled back into my head when I put them on. I will never go anywhere else for sneakers. Amazing experience. I would give 50 stars if I could.
